Have been going to Go Dental for years and have not turned back. I have seen both Dr. Monti and Dr. Go and they both are very professional and easy to approach. Dr. Monti who I have seen the most will do his assessment and discuss the options with the patient, never forces any procedures on the patient. The office staff is very pleasant and professional. The office is kept clean and up to date. All of the hygienist I have met were all very good. The only downside was that some of their hygenist that I really liked left for various personal reasons so for a while it was hard to book a cleaning. But I believe they recently hired more staff so hopefully this will get better. Overall I'm very pleased with their service and would recommend them. read more

Go Dental never disappoints. From the receptionist to paying, it was stress free. They photographed my teeth first. Saw Dr. Monti and he was great in answering my concerns. Paige was the dental hygienist, and she did the best cleaning of my teeth that I ever received. Truly amazing. Was able to pay by credit card. Think twice about choosing this dental practice. My experience with Dr. Monte was not always pleasant. In retrospect I should have changed dentists after the first harrowing experience, but I always give people a second chance. Dr. Monte broke off a drill bit in my tooth during a simple root canal. I had to go to an endodontist the next day to get it remove. I lost a day's pay from work and went through a lot of pain while the specialist tried to get the large piece of metal out of my tooth. During the last 5 years Dr. Monte injected me with epinephrine TWICE which almost sent me to the emergency room! My intolerance to epinephrine was clearly marked on the computer screen. Dr. Go is fine, if you can tolerate the extremely snooty Donna, the office manager. My new dentist is so professional, and their office manager actually smiles at the patients, makes them feel welcome. I always tried to give them another chance, until this last visit, Monte kept me waiting for 45 minutes, came in without even looking at my painful tooth, said "there's nothing I can do about it today" and walked out. The kicker is that they charged me for an office visit, "procedure" never telling me my insurance would not cover that visit because they only pay for 2 visits/yr. That's not their fault but I should have been warned I would have to pay out of pocket. This is my first negative review I have ever posted, but felt it was important prospective patients be warned. Go Dental is amazing! The office itself is beautiful and sparkling clean, with lots of refreshments and magazines for while you wait (although I don't think I've ever waited more than about 2 mins after my scheduled appointment time). The office staff is so friendly and welcoming, and always greet me with a smiling face. They were able to work with me on billing by offering me a payment plan for my Invisalign which was a huge help! I have seen several dentists in Santa Clarita and Dr. Go is by far the best. He is attentive, patient, and most of all, a perfectionist, which is exactly what you should want in a dentist. After having braces on and off for about 6 years as a child, I still wasn't happy with my smile. Dr Go was able to offer me Invisalign treatment at a much lower price than any orthodontist in the SCV, and spent time and effort not only straightening my teeth, but correcting my bite. One dental implant, one destroyed smile, four additional surgeries, two days in court, and over $12,000 currently down the drain... trusting Go Dental with my smile is the biggest mistake I've ever made. I had the awful displeasure of suing Dr. Christopher Go yesterday. In spite of numerous efforts to try and work this out I had no other choice but to try and recoup some of the money I've had to spend to try and fix Dr. Go's dental implant. I have come to the conclusion that the implant is unusable since Dr. Go placed it at an angle that is impossible to access without destroying the symmetry in my smile. I wish that I had come to this conclusion much sooner but the advice and counsel I received from Dr. Go has turned out to be incorrect. The truth is I will never be able to use this implant and achieve a natural looking smile. Now I am going to be forced to bury the implant and go back to a Maryland bridge. This means I won't be able to get a correctly placed implant there and I will be forced to use a bridge for the rest of my life. It also means that all five surgeries and the money I've spent doing them have been a complete waste of around $12,000 and, at this point, nearly four years of my life. I have no idea if I'll win my court case against Dr. Go but will update this review once I receive the judgment. I'll post here a compiled version of the evidence I submitted to the court against Dr. Go (see photo below). Dr. Go's evidence included a photo of my smile with a tooth restoration that had a size and shape I would kill to have today but unfortunately the photo was taken immediately after the second of five surgeries when my gums were still swollen from the surgery. There is literally blood in the photo. When the judge asked Dr. Go why there was blood in the photo he had no response. When the judge asked if he had evidence I was even in his office when the photo was taken he did not. Regardless, it felt like just another attempt to deflect responsibility. Dr. Go also submitted an article from 1989 (27 years ago) in what I would guess was an attempt to establish a very low "standard of care" for dental implants. My wife, a brilliant registered nurse, doctoral student and member of the leadership team at Saint Joseph's Medical Center caught this, noting for the court that it's common practice in evidence based medicine never to cite articles over five years old. Go Dental's office looks very modern but I guess the care you receive is from two and half decades ago. Since I was in the dark about my situation for so long, trusting Dr. Go through nearly three years and four additional surgeries, a big part of my case was establishing the date I became aware of the truth -- that this radical asymmetry created by Dr. Go's implant could never be fixed since Dr. Go placed the implant with an angulation that is slightly labiallly inclined, and will continue to be aesthetically problematic no matter how many surgeries I receive. I believe Dr. Go was fully aware of my situation, yet kept me in the dark in an attempt to run out the clock on a proper medical malpractice case and interestingly enough, Dr. Go's defense in court was that my small claims case was really a medical malpractice complaint and should be dismissed because it happened outside the statute of limitations. If this works, well done, Dr. Go, you succeeded. I will have to live with your handiwork for the rest of my life and will get the pleasure of paying $12K and counting to live through this ongoing nightmare. My wife and I are reasonable people. We have lives, but in addition to living through this five surgery, smile-wrecking odyssey we were forced to take another two days off work and sit in court over this mess. We sat there all day Thursday and were forced to return again on Friday before they would hear our case. We tried three attempts at mediation and all were rebuffed by Dr. Go. Before we even went to court or I posted my first review I made countless attempts to remedy this matter in his office with his people. Even if I win the case, it's still unclear that I will ever get any money in spite of the fact the work was never finished and I'm still forced to pay out of pocket for another Maryland bridge and the procedure to bury the implant. I am still baffled by Dr. Go's thought process over all of this. I guess time will tell if all this has been worth it for him. As for me, it's been all losses. UPDATE: I did not win my small claims case against Dr. Go. We never really stood a chance since statute of limitations for medical malpractice is three years from the date of injury or one year from the date you become aware of the injury whichever comes first. The date the implant was placed was outside of that three year window. read more

They have a way with making every procedure comfortable because they truly care about their patients. Their assistants are amazing too. I am very pleased with the office and staff! I went in initially as an Emergency appointment for my old amalgam that was breaking down. The front office was very helpful in scheduling an appointment sooner rather than later. I was helped by Casey she mad me feel comfortable and was very friendly. The front desk staff remember me every time I come in, and if Donna is there she asks how are my parents, grandparents, and siblings by name. I've seen numerous hygienists over the years and they've all been friendly and kind. Dr. Go is funny and personable and I trust him. He fit me in when I have had emergencies such breaking a tooth and dislocating my jaw, and instilled calm and confidence that everything would be alright. Dr. Monti has performed miracles on my mouth! I have been dealing with a tooth pain issue that comes and goes for nearly 30 years. Dr. Monti talked me in to an implant replacement, and after a few pain free visits, I now have two new teeth. He did a fabulous job of communicating the details of the process to me, and was very patient with all my questions (I had a lot). The office staff are incredible, and always go above and beyond. Go Dental did such a great job on this surgery that I continue to go for routine dental care, even though I moved one hour away from the office. Dr. Go is a very likable person, but his actions make me believe he is not an honest man. My husband and I were both loyal patients at Go Dental for over 10 years when Dr. Go talked my husband into getting a dental implant to replace an existing bridge for a missing tooth in the front of his smile. During the surgery, (per statements of several dentist that have evaluated the implant) Dr. Go incorrectly placed the dental implant, putting it so high into my husband's gum line that it now looks like he has three front teeth. After the surgery Dr. Go blamed the implant placement on my husband's bone structure. Though we trusted Dr. Go at the time, per dentists that evaluated my husband's case, this claim turned out to be untrue. It's been three and a half years now and the ordeal is still ongoing. I've missed 40 hours of work taking my husband to four additional surgeries. After working with a new dentist we now know the procedures performed normally take 6-8 weeks to heal, but Dr. Go and his team repeatedly stated the healing time as 6 months. I can't help but believe they stretched out each additional treatment to 6 months just so they could run out the clock on a proper medical malpractice case. Dr. Go left my husband with an unsightly metal screw sticking out of his gums for over a year. I feel this was done just so he could keep us in the dark for as long as possible. We trusted Christopher Go and he treated us horribly. When we finally figured out what was going on and confronted him about it, Dr. Go told me and my husband that the new technology commonly used to do these implants, something called a CBCT, didn't exist when my husband had his procedure done. I'm a registered nurse a can assure you this technology did exist at the time. A CBCT is a 3-D image of teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone structure. Dr. Go showed me my husband's CBCT image just before the surgery for which I was permitted to observe. In addition we have the receipt for the CBCT. Even so, Dr. Go continued to deny this image was available or ever taken. I feel horrible that I let this happen to my husband. He never smiles for photos anymore. I can't even get him to smile at me! He's always self-conscious about his smile now. This has been the worst experience for both of us. We have asked Go Dental to pay for their mistake, including the additional surgeries my husband has been forced to go through in an attempt to correct the damage done during the initial implant procedure. They have refused to do this, offering instead to pay for six dental veneers to enlarge all of the surrounding teeth. My husband's smile has been destroyed. Had Dr. Go had any experience with dental implants, the restoration could have been perfect. It boggles the mind that this office is willing to pay $10,000 for dental veneers, yet unwilling to just give my husband the $10,000 so we can recoup our out-of-pocket costs and complete the work with a dentist we actually trust. All we want is to get on with our lives. Now we are forced to take Go Dental to small claims court just to recoup some of our expenses and move on from this nightmare. The measure of a business is not how they treat people when everything goes smoothly. The measure of a good business is how they treat you when things go wrong. By this measure, Go Dental has been a complete disaster. We will see Dr. Go in small claims court in about a month (March 10th 2016). Hopefully we will be done with this office after that. In the meantime, I recommend you avoid Go Dental. The staff is very nice, and I understand why they have such good reviews, but all the pleasantries in the world cannot make up for what I feel was careless work and outright deception. They were very nice to us for 10 years and we trusted them completely, but ultimately that turned out to be a very costly and painful mistake. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Go's for over 10 years. While living in Santa Clarita I was referred to Go Dental from a friend who's whole family swore by this dentist office. In those ten years I moved from Santa Clarita to Sherman Oaks, to Culver City, and now live in Central Los Angeles- but I still drive to Santa Clarita for my check ups. Dr. Go is the best. He is gentle and effective. He tells the truth about what you need. I had a previous experience with another dentist who fished out dental work that I did not need. My experience with Dr. Go was welcoming and fulfilling. I am so happy I found him. He made my teeth feel like new again. From rebuilding an old bridge, to removing some old fillings and refilling them and etc. My treatment was with no pain or discomfort. When it comes to dental cleaning, Meredith is the best.
