I've had fear of dentists for many years ever since I was a child so coming in first time I definitely nervous. After discovering that I needed several root canals and fillings I was even more fearful. Luckily the care I received was nothing short of awesome. I am glad that I discovered this place with great friendly people and am getting my teeth on the right path before it got really bad. Went back for a check up and the doc was very easy going and good to deal with. Previous dentist always said I had something that needed to be done. This guy doesn't push extra services and did good work for me. Love the TV at the chairs to keep me distracted from the work being done. read more

It's a very neat dentist place! I really enjoy their good services here. I've been with them for three years now, they took great care of my teeth and never even try to up sale, which is the part I like the most. I finally just decided to do my invisible lines here, it's been six weeks and it's working very well. The doctor cares about each patient, when I called them for any requests, they would schedule me for a check up right away. read more

Very friendly staff and a great first experience. Clean and cozy environment and a very convenient location.

This office is amazing! I stopped in yesterday just to ask for an appointment due to a painful tooth- they saw me right away! The doctor took his time as my problem was a little complicated. After treatment, my pain has subsided. I must say, I've been to a few dentists in the area and this is the only one that I didn't feel like I was being "sold" unnecessary treatment at ridiculous prices. I even received a call from them today to see how I was doing. I wish I would have come here sooner! Everyone was extremely nice and comforting. I give this office 10 stars! Thank you all again! My family has found their new dentist! read more

Smile Focus Dental - Flowers sent to appreciate the fantastic job done. - General Dentistry Near Me - Stevenson Ranch, California

You never reached out to my insurance to correct the billing. So, now I cannot have an actual scaling/planing service for a year. All you did was waive the charges for the service you never performed. And you still didn't address the fact that you did not scale my teeth. And somehow your office records show me in the office 2 days when I was 40 miles away on day 2? You are not being truthful... read more

When it comes to choosing the right dentist we all worry and perhaps don't trust some of the dentists out there. Dr. Gharibian is probably one of the most trustworthy dentists I've been to. He is very genuine person and actually cares about each individual. He is very experienced and you will be in and out in no time! Makes you feel very comfortable and you will be done before you even realize it. I ended up bringing all my family members and friends to dr. Gharibian. He also has the best staff they are super friendly and they try to work with you financially and with your insurance. Trust me you will leave their office happy :) they really do focus on making you smile!! I would give them 10 starts if it was possible !! read more

We recently moved from Stevenson Ranch to Northern California, and one thing we miss is our awesome neighborhood dental office. Thank you Dr. Gharibian and everyone at Smile Focus! We miss you! Our whole family went here regularly for 10 years. They took care of everything, cleanings, fillings, orthodontics, even root canals and crowns, all in the same nice office, and did it with such kindness and professionalism. Somehow they always squeezed us in in a hurry if we needed. Always treated us like we were part of their family. Never tried to get us to have extra work done that we didn't need for extra profit (careful, because this is a thing at some other places) and their charges were always VERY reasonable. This is what a great dental office should be. Don't know how we'll find one this good up here! read more

I feel the dentist is an honest person. One trait you have to have as a dentist and sad to say is not that common. Office staff is nice and friendly, it's not super high tech or anything but the dentist seems very knowledgeable..very experienced. read more

Everyone there is so friendly and professional! They have the latest technology. They don't try to sell you unnecessary procedures.

I have been their patient for last 10+ years and the longest I have waited was 5-10 min in waiting room. Love the atmosphere and cleanness of the office it feels like my own home, prices are very reasonable and so easy to make appointment. Normally people are afraid of the needles but by the time you realize you are numb, cant even hardly feel when you get numb. Smiling in Santa Clarita... Recently moved to Santa Clarita after a couple years of living overseas. We chose to join Dr. Gharibian's practice (Smile Focus) as patients after doing our "homework" on different dentists in the area. My family and I are so glad we made the right choice - we love Dr. Gharibian and his team! Anyone that has moved knows that one of the biggest stressors and headaches of relocating is choosing all the new doctors and healthcare providers. It can be totally "hit or miss." Dr. Gharibian (Dr. Derrick) is a hit! He and his team are true pros, and make you feel safe, comfortable and valued as a patient. It is obvious they love what they do and it shows; kind, caring and helpful. It's actually pretty rare to see all that these days! If you are looking for the right dentist and team in the area - look no further! Smile Focus is it. - Smiling in Santa Clarita. read more

LOVE this place. My Family and I have been going to them for years. Sweetest dentist and the entire staff. They are so kind they even kept a pair of earring my sister forgot for over a year and remembered to give them to us when we came back for more work! I went to Baywood as they were part of my then insurance and not only were they TOTAL salesmen they were liars too. Smile Focus quoted me almost $3,000 LESS in work and saved a tooth that was badly infected while Baywood said I needed it removed/bridge/implant/etc... I am SO glad I ended up going to Smile Focus Dental instead. HIGHLY recommended. read more

At smile focus you feel you are good taking care off... professional and sweet staff, they know what they are doing. Elda is sweet and professional, quick accommodation.... Dr Gharibian is the best, I pulled a tooth, with stitches I didn't have to take even one medicine for my case, which I have never encounter before with other drs where I had to live on Advil for 6 month for the same case. Literally he is the best. Try him and you will never regret it. I had excellent experience with a dentist. Can you imagine. read more

An amazing caring staff and dentist. They worked with my schedule being a mother of two children and no time for myself they definitely worked around that and that was awesome. And the work was 100% what I wanted thank you so much. One happy patient. read more

I had cracked and broken a tooth down to the nerve badly. The most terrifying feeling ever, I was panicked and in a lot of pain. A friend of mine quickly referred me to Smile Focus, they took me right in, numbed me up, filed down the broken tooth because it was extremely sharp and cutting my tongue. They placed a temporary and scheduled me to come back right away to begin the root canal. I have a phobia of dentists and always have. Smile Focus went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and even played cartoons for my 4 year old! They finished my tooth today (after only 3 appointments total) placing a beautiful crown and my tooth is now better than it ever was. Their prices are extremely reasonable and their work is phenomenal. This is definitely my new dentist and I highly recommend them to anyone local or not. Thank you so much Smile Focus!!! read more

I truly had one of the most positive dental experiences of my life at Smile Focus. Very modern office, high tech and most importantly clean. The service was exceptional and the staff is very knowledgeable. Not only does Dr. Gharibian do superior work, he also explains everything thoroughly and does a great job addressing your concerns and answering your questions. The receptionist/office manager is very friendly and professional, too! I will continue to drive from Los Angeles to Stevenson ranch because they are simply the best. read more
