If you want a beautiful smile, I would highly recommend Dr. Chang. He was our orthodontist for our daughter and did an excellent job. She needed a 2 step process to correct her underbite. From the initial consult to the treatments, Dr Chang fully explained everything and used the latest technology to help guide and treat her. He was very professional and knowledgeable. From the front office staff to all the assistants, everyone was very friendly and competent. I have recommended Dr Chang to all my friends and they have also been very happy with his care. read more

My daughter went to Dr. Chang and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Dr. Chang for your orthodontic needs. The staff is super friendly and we never have to wait past our scheduled appointment time. For most appointments we were in and out of there within 20 minutes. Dr. Chang said my daughter would have braces for 18 months but she had her braces off in 15 months and her teeth are beautiful. read more

Our pediatric dentist referred my 7 year old daughter to Dr. Chang's office due to overcrowding of her teeth and her teeth growing in very crooked. We're about 9 months into the treatment and it was almost magical how quickly the treatment straightened her teeth. I can't say enough great things about this office. It's super clean and built in a way to keep my daughter's younger sister entertained during her appointments. I feel like they care to stay up to date on technology using a cool advanced scanner and offering a pain eraser, pain relief device for during treatment. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and accommodating. They are upfront about costs and their legal paperwork is clear - I can tell someone went through these forms and made the language make sense instead of just using a from full of legal jargon no one understands. Today, I mixed up appointment times and showed up at a different time. I was mortified but they accommodated me and everyone was incredibly nice about it. It's about as pleasant of an experience that a visit to the orthodontist can be - I give them tons of props for that as my kids never resist going. Dr. Chang himself is incredibly down to earth and makes me feel very comfortable with him working on my child - he talks to her like he knows how to talk to children. He is patient and never seems annoyed even though my young children can be pretty annoying. He also seems very knowledgeable and answers any questions I've ever had about treatment and was able to share a clear plan on how to help my daughter's teeth get straighter with an expander and invisalign trays. I loved their treatment for my daughter so much, I signed up to get adult invisaligns with Dr. Chang's office. I can't recommend this office enough. read more

Whole family including us parents have been treated by Dr. Chang. His staff is so so friendly and welcoming from the get go. My youngest is rambunctious and staff, ortho assistants and doctor were so patient and kind to him. For myself, decided to redo braces at 25 years old (didn't wear my retainer while young) and I was told by 2 orthodontists out of state that I would need to remove back molars to fit braces as an adult. When I was evaluated by Dr. Chang, he was able to do the braces without removing teeth. My teeth, jaw and bite are so beautiful now. I finally love my profile. I refer all my mom friends and family to him and his lovely staff. read more

I went to Dr. Chang for a consultation on adult braces and to be fitted a for a night guard. The office staff and assistants were all very friendly and efficient. They accommodated my schedule requests and there was no waiting when I got to their bright and very clean office. I had my x-rays and scans done and Dr. Chang fitted me for a new night guard. Since I do not live in the area, the office sent my new night guard via Priority Mail and provided excellent communication/updates. The new night guard is much better than the one I previously had (from a different doctor). In addition, I appreciated Dr. Chang's fair and honest assessment of my unique situation. I highly recommend this practice for excellent and conscientious patient care! read more

I was a patient of Dr Chang over 15 years ago when I had braces in high school. At the end of that experience, he put in a permanent retainer on my bottom teeth. That retainer worked perfectly until about a month ago when it finally came loose in one area. I called Dr Changs office and went in to see him about getting it fixed. When I went in to see him, he removed the permanent retainer and recommend a temporary retainer to wear at night. After scanning me for that retainer, I went to the front desk expecting to pay for it. Dr Changs office did not charge me for the retainer as they said it was a continuation of the work already done years ago. Amazing customer service! On top of a very friendly staff, little to no wait times, and an expert in Dr. Chang. I cannot recommend him enough. read more

Most efficient visit I've ever had. Needed retainers because my previous provider lost my record somehow. I was examined and scanned within 5 mins of arriving at the office and the cost was only half of what the others are asking for (for 2 sets). read more

My son had a mouth full of problems. Four years ago we consulted with three different Orthodontists. The three thought it best to remove my son's two front top teeth in order to start the problem solution. Yes they had good reasons for this, but neither my son nor I wanted this temporary gap. Then our family dentist recommended us to Dr. Chang. Dr. Chang's solution did not include removing the two front top teeth. His solution was so, so simple and understandable. It put both my son and I at ease. His staff is very communicative and pleasant. His prices and pay plans are very fair. My son had his braces removed today and boy is he satisfied with the look of his teeth and with the easy process that he went through to get them to look good. THANK YOU, Dr. Chang and staff! We are extremely satisfied. read more

I started going to Dr. Chang way back when it was Dr. Caruso's office in Newhall. So I've been going here since I was a little kid. What else can I say other than I have straight teeth and all of my teeth. While a lot of other orthos wanted to pull teeth instead of taking the more time consuming method of actually moving my teeth I'm happy to say that I have all of my teeth. Actually that's a lie, I don't have those stupid wisdom teeth. But that didn't have anything to do with Dr. Chang, that was just bad genetics. The staff is great and always happy. They even remembered me after having not gone to the office in over 5 years. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I hope I'm famous in the office for having nice teeth, not infamous for being a bad patient. They were even able to squeeze me in the same day I called when I broke a retainer and I had a chance to check out the new office which is so much nicer than the old one in Newhall. I'm so happy with how my teeth came out. Dr. Chang is a great guy too. When I was in high school we had to job shadow a person to research potential careers and Dr. Chang allowed me to job shadow him. I didn't go into dentistry but I was really grateful that he made time for something like that. read more

I wanted to quickly share a great experience i am having with Dr. Chang. My periodontist recommended that Dr. Chang can fix my lower front teeth, they are very crowded and have been most of my adult life. I am 48 now. I had braces when i was a kid and it was not the best experience at all, i remember this very clearly. Knowing that i was reluctant to even step foot in another Orthodontist office. Dr. Chang had me stop in his office for a quick consult, they took some pictures of my mouth (painless) and he informed me that i could have "invisiline" trays. These are NOT braces rather clear trays you cannot even see, that sounded great to me. Dr. Chang was very informative, i was not being sold. I was totally at ease in his office. His office was clean and organized and the staff called me by name when i entered the office, not sure how they knew it was me, but it was a great touch. I have been back to Dr. Changs office for 2 appointments now, one to take impressions of my mouth (painless) and about 3 weeks later to pick up my trays. The last appointment Dr. Chang worked on my teeth to prep them for the trays, a few anchor points were added (painless) to a few teeth and the trays were popped in. I just wanted to share this wonderful and easy experience. I will be seeing Dr. Chang about 4 -5 times over the next 20 weeks, then i will have straight teeth, without braces...and so far, day 2 of the first trays, i am not experiencing any discomfort like i recall from my childhood braces! Dr. Chang and his offer staff are fantastic and have made this experience very easy for me. I hope this helps anyone looking for orthodontist care in the Valencia area. read more

Dr Chang did my Invisalign for a TMJ/clenching problem I had and not only did it resolve the clenching problem and realign my bite, but my teeth look straight and beautiful. He and his staff are professional, friendly and super competent. I still go whenever I have any need 10 years later ( i.e. replacement retainer for night ) and they treat me like they saw me yesterday. Dr Chang and his staff are awesome. read more

I got my braces off six years ago and to this day I am still getting great service. My parents definitely could have taken my brother and me to a cheaper orthodontist out of town but we all agree that it was worth it. I got my braces off six months earlier than expected. The whole process went well with the check ups and adjustments. Never had a bad experience. Everybody in the office is really professional and nice. Since then, I've been back for small things involving my permanent bottom retainer. Recently, I went back to remove that retainer and get a removable plastic one. All at no extra charge! Dr. Chu is newer (he wasn't there when I had my braces on haha), but he's also pretty nice. The office is in a really nice facility with plenty of parking outside. I always liked the station to brush your teeth before seeing the doctor. Toothbrushes that already have the toothpaste on it?! Mindblown. My teenage self also appreciated the gift cards for being a good patient. It's really the little things that count. read more

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Chang/Dr. Chu! They have a wonderful office staff who is willing to work with you. We had one child go through another local ortho, who was great too, but I am so impressed with this office. I had an 11 year old who we had been checking visually yearly and waiting until all baby teeth fell out, jr. High was beginning and she wanted to get this started now because she wanted braces off by 9th grade. We went in for consult with Dr. Chu/Dr. Chang and they took a full pano X-ray (free of charge) and saw that some of the teeth weren't going to come out on their own, he gave us a few options on what we could do. If we hadn't taken that pano X-ray we would still be waiting! We had some extractions done by our amazing dentist and then went back in for braces. It's been 6 months since she's had them on and every thing they have done is impressive! I'm so glad we are here and blown away with all the work they are doing! They are very proactive in their work! Great Dr's and staff all the way around!! I will recommend them hands down to everyone! read more

Dr Chang provided orthodontics care to both my daughters. His office staff were always friendly and professional. They were always available and interested in our daughters. They provided us with superior orthodontic care with state of the art office and equipment. Appointments were set and there was very little wait time from check in to service. My one daughter has great fear with going to the dentist and having anyone inside her mouth. Her fear was reduced due to Dr. Chang and his staff being sensitive to her concerns. As a mother of two patients who have completed their care from start to finish, I would highly recommend the office of Dr. Chang. read more

I'd like to share my overall experience with Dr. Chang... First, I'd like to say that I was referred to Dr. Chang by my pediatric dentist (Dr. Singer) years ago to make my a replacement retainer that I lost back in high school. Now much older, I decided to return to Dr. Chang to correct some issues that have bothered me for years. My treatment started back in 2013 and Dr. Chang recommended invisalign to correct some of the minor issues that I had. After the completion of my first set of trays and I was still not perfectly happy with my bite and the overall outcome, Now 2016 and on my 3rd set of trays, Dr. Chang is still addressing my concerns to make me perfectly happy with the overall experience. Dr. Chang and his office staff have been nothing but exemplary in providing the best customer service while exceeding expectations with every office visit. I wouldn't see anyone else for any orthodontic work and I live about an hour away!!! read more
