Our sales rep, Stephen, made multiple visits to our house for our consultations, and essentially gave us all of the time we needed for discussions to make sure that our plan was everything we wanted it to be and that we understood the process. Stephen also took the time to explain why certain elements cost what they cost and what goes into the materials and labor. Some contractors just throw out prices and you don't know what you're paying for or why. We never felt "sketchy" in that way with them. We never felt rushed, Pratt Guys provided everything that we needed to feel organized and confident about our project. They also were by our side through the entire pre-build phase when our project turned out to require a building variance and extra workings with the City. Construction can be very intimidating and confusing in these regards and they guided us through the entire process. 3. Expert, Quality workmanship and professionalism: Pratt Guys delivered their promise here. We made an investment and feel extremely satisfied that they delivered the value in both customer service and workmanship that they commit to. When we got to the build phase, the entire process was precisely laid out. Our build and site supervisors, Jeremy and Jake, provided diligent, timely communication, and were readily available when needed. They addressed all questions and concerns as we went to ensure we continued to feel confident. All workers acted professional and treated our home with respect. The construction process can look ugly and messy in the midst, but Jeremy assured me that by the time they were completely done, it would look pristine. And it did indeed, the team addressed any areas of construction wear and tear and thoroughly cleaned the job site. Again, we are extremely happy and satisfied that we chose Pratt Guys for our backyard renovation. We could have chosen a different contractor and paid less, but had grave concerns about what we were getting and our long term equity. Pratt Guys Review Finding the Pratt guys to take down and build our deck was a God Send! We found out about them through a friend that sells roofs. He mentioned them to us and so we went to their showroom (more on that). I also contacted my contractor who build our new kitchen for us. Chris Hazlewood. He was the epitome of a professional and gained every bit of the respect I could give anyone. When I mentioned the Pratt Guys to him, his response was, "Don't contact anyone else, have them do the work". They're specialist in this area, and do excellent work. That's all it took for us! We went back to the showroom, vey impressive to say the least, and talked with Chris Pratt. He told us what they could do and gave us a rough timeline. He then came to our house and surveyed the job. They were quick to provide us with a quote that showed every detail of labor and materials. When we decided to start the project, his guys came out on time, and ready to work, complete with their trucks and tools! His guys were wonderful! So professional! The lead for this project, Steve, is a perfectionist. He took care of every detail and was not satisfied with anything less than perfection. They had quite the job to do as our back yard is not a yard at all, but a dropping slope into marsh. They had to install pilings into the ground and make sure they were set. It was an engineering masterpiece! We decided that if a hurricane came, we were getting under the deck for protection as it was so solid! The project took some time to complete due to inclement weather which resulted in our getting to know the crew pretty well. They were a GREAT group of guys! and they did EXCELLENT work. Pratt Guys has our highest recommendations. We absolutely love our backyard. Pratt guys refinished our pool to a much nicer pebble finish, change it to salt water, added a heater and swapped out our light to a more updated multicolor. They also installed pavers for our entire patio area, built a bar, installed a grill and refrigerator and constructed a planter along the full length of our new lanai they built with a very cool "expanded view" which also has Nebula lighting. And although we had a vision of what we wanted Adam Pratt had some fantastic ideas which we incorporated into our build like a water fall / fire feature which is the centerpiece of the pool area. The quality of their work is outstanding. Frankly, we did a lot of homework and found that Pratt Guys is the only contractor around that will do it all. You really can't appreciate what that means until you realize the project you have will pull in at least half a dozen disciplines which is just impossible for the average homeowner to manage. If I did not go with Pratt Guys my project would have taken over a year and I would have had to deal with a pool company, landscaper, lighting company, appliance company, screening company, gutter company and more. With Pratt Guys I faced off with one project manager making life so much more simple. Finally, what is most impressive is after all is said and done, they don't consider the job finished until they walk the project with you and you verify everything is complete to your satisfaction. We wanted to transform our backyard into a tropical oasis. We already had a pool, but it was old and dated. We met with The Pratt Guys to discuss how they could change our backyard into something we would be proud of and want to show off. I immediately knew in our very 1st meeting with Byron that these are the guys I wanted to work with. I told them what I wanted and a few visons I had, and Jack created a 3D rendering of our entire project. As I made selections for pavers, waterline tiles, countertops, tv's, and patio furniture -Jack would add these customized selections into our rendering so I could see what the finished project would look like. Derek and Jake were amazing. Any questions or concerns I had were always immediately answered. I truly felt like they were just as excited as we were and wanted us to have the best of the best! Their quality of work and their professionalism can't be beat. We loved the TV we bought for under the cabana so much that after our project was complete, we had them order us another tv for inside the house. Thank you, Pratt Guys! We are beyond thrilled with our pool/outdoor space! It's as though we're on vacation at a private resort whenever we step outside! When we first started thinking about adding a pool, and potentially an outdoor living space, we had very few ideas of what we wanted. The Pratt Design Team process began with walking us through general size/layout ideas based off our house and backyard, along with potential HOA restrictions. We then worked with Jack on the real design phase. He was very patient and understanding as we have always dreamt of a pool, but again not really sure what we wanted or the possibilities of what our space could bring us. Every detail of the pool itself, sunken kitchen, living space, equipment and future additions to our backyard was thoroughly covered with us. To make a long story short, Jack provided several options to choose from and surprisingly we chose the one that we hadn't initially considered! And, we LOVE it! We were looking for a contractor who could not only build a pool & pergola, but could also handle the new construction of a pool house. We didn't want to deal with more than one contractor, who likely wouldn't communicate with each other properly, so we hired Pratt to take on this project. The scope of the project changed tremendously, and Pratt happily took on our new requests. After talking with other companies in the beginning and comparing thoughts on how to remedy certain situations, we felt like Pratt had the expertise and were the most skilled. We felt like their problem-solving skills were excellent. We threw new things their way - one being a golf-simulator room where they had to work in tandem with another company and it requires them to take on a good bit of extra communication. They happily tackled it. It was obvious that they aimed to keep us happy. Wow! An emphatic Five Stars!! Mary and I could not be happier. From start to finish our experience with each associate was extremely helpful and rewarding. These are professionals. They knew more about what we wanted than we could articulate ourselves. From our initial inspiration photos, through ten computer generated design renderings, HOA approval process, ground breaking and final walk through, we found the Pratt Guys to be knowledgeable, responsive, patient and polite. The process is expensive, but you get what you pay for with Pratt Guys. Top line materials and appliances. A team of contractors that take pride in their work...craftsman. After researching a few entities that construct and/or enhance outdoor living areas, and with the recommendation of friends, we moved forward with using Pratt Guys to help put in place a much needed kitchen area to finish our pool deck in a pre- existing plumbed area for an outdoor kitchen. With our budget in mind, Pratt Guys diligently worked with us to meet what we could envision for a somewhat difficult area to build. Throughout the entire process we found that the construction crews provided outstanding attention to detail and met our needs to address whatever we envisioned to work in our particular space. We are so happy with our new backyard! We had a cookie cutter lanai with just your basic cement flooring. Our home has an oversized slider that opens up and hides behind a wall to make for a seamless, large opening to our backyard. Great for indoor-outdoor entertaining, but definitely needed some upgrades. We saw some great projects from Pratt Guys and they provided us with exactly the kind of design we were hoping for. The renderings were amazing and helped us to see the final project before they broke ground. It even showed how the sun would hit on the pergola to see where the shade would be. We now have pavers running smoothly in one level from the start of the lanai all the way out with a pergola and fire pit. The Pratt Guys exceeded our expectations converting our plain backyard into an amazing space to gather with friends and family. We began the conversation with Jason Pratt in the fall of 2018 and by spring of 2019 the pool and pavers were installed. My wife and hired the Pratt Guys for an impossible task - to build a courtyard pool in the front yard.
