After moving here from the West Coast it took some time for me to find a dentist that took in new patients. We lived in Watertown at the time and I wanted to find a local dentist . I luckily found Bayisetty's practice conveniently located close by and decided to set up an appointment. Needless to say she has been my first dentist in the East Coast for the past three years and I have been very happy with her services. She is very professional and curtious. I actually enjoy my routine cleanups. She has gentle hands and makes the process very painless. I recently chipped my tooth and the office quickly scheduled me in. Since it was a small chip I did not need anesthesia and she quickly fixed my tooth. I was very happy with the end result and it feels good to know that they will take very good care of my dental well-being. read more

Dr. Bayisetty has been a great and attentive Dentist. Visits are easy, staff are helpful and timely in their responses. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr Bayisetty since 2012. She is always professional and friendly. My husband had to visit another dentist when Dr Bayisetty was out of town once, and that dentist commented on how good Dr Bayisetty's dental work was. Not sure if he was commenting on the filling or crown but either way I feel my teeth are in good hands with her. read more

This review has been long over due but here it is. After the disappointment at Fresh Pond Dental in Cambridge I was looking for another Dental place where my insurance will cover. There are few places i am interest it but they are either full or don't take new patients. I guess a good place doesn't need advertisement cuz they wont run and of patients. After few calls, Pramthima Baysietty is willing to take me plus they have few reviews that are good. Even though its not much I still take my chances and come. The place wasnt what i was expecting. It is a house and a family business i believe. That is a good things in my opinions because it's much more likely the owner will be operating it unlike the chain where they don't care, cuz they just work there or they put many patients as tight as they can so they don't do things thoroughly. Front Desk: I've been here around 2-3 times now. Let's start with the front desk lady. She is awesome and nice. She remembers little things about me such as i told her i am working in the afternoon and when we make a new appointment she will said it'll be in the morning right cuz you told me you will be working afternoon. She also remembers that I will be out of country in December and trying to talk to me a bit like a friend. I really appreciate that. Dental Assistance: She is also nice, smile, and friendly all the time. We talk a bit about her family and a bit about myself the first time we met. The Dentist(Prathima Bayisetty): She is also nice and friendly. She will ask you some questions regarding the teeth for better service. One thing really stands out from here is that she showed me where i had minor cavity with the tiny snaky camera and took a picture of it while explaining it to me, so i know it is really needs to be done, not just wanting me to do extra service for making more $$ from my insurance. While filling the teeth, she constantly asking me if everything is ok. Because prior to service i told her i am very sensitive and i had bad experience. Dr. Baysietty made my experience stress free and none painful. It is also done pretty quickly! (It was slow and painful when i was at Fresh Pond Dental. But that is just me, and that doesnt mean they are bad dentists, it just mean we are not compatible) I thought it is going to be painful when Dr. Prathima put the anesthesia on and it will be numb for hours like when i was at Fresh Pond Dental but man i was wrong, it is pain free and it doesn't numb my entire half face for hours. I barely notice i was numb and when i walked out it just feel normal. Anyway i was thinking why didnt i find this place sooner! After the service i ask her if they can use the snaky camera to see the after photo. I can tell by her micro expression that she isnt willing to do it for 1 second and she still did it for me which i appreciate it. I work at the hospitality field too so I totally understand that sometimes you are not willing to do somethings but you still do it for good service. Some guest will appreciate it and gave you gifts or tips some won't and think that is what you suppose to do. I guess you just have to find the balance on that. The other visits was quick and none painful which makes me wonder if it is really done good or not. I guess time will find out but for now, it is as good as it gets. WooHoo! read more

Preface: I have a ridiculous phobia of dentists and suffered years without dental insurance. Dr. Bayisetty is a godsend! I knew I needed a root canal for over a year, but couldn't afford it. Fast forward to the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I wake up at 2am with earth shattering pain radiating from my back molar. I called every dentist in the area probably starting at 3am in the hopes that someone would be able to see that this was an obvious emergency and get me in ASAP. Dr. Bayisetty's receptionist got my message and called me back promptly at 7am with an appointment to see the Doctor at 9am that day and technically without insurance as my card was being weird! Talk about moving mountains. I wanted an emergency tooth extraction- I still couldn't afford the root canal and would rather have taken pliers to my own mouth than wait another second with that tooth in my mouth. . . 2 hours later, 1 pissed off tooth gone, a little bit of sweat (the dentist's- she's a little lady), and I'm walking out the door with prescription in hand for my antibiotics, pain killers, and her emergency number for the Holiday weekend. Note: the only reason I was there for 2 hours was because apparently my roots went up half near into my brain. With no insurance! $142- Tooth extraction $28- Xray for only the 1 tooth. Can't say how much a full set would cost. ----------------- $170 out the door From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, I felt taken care of and calmed. What a wonderful experience! And now that my insurance card is here, they're working with me to get retroactively compensated for it all. Great experience. Go to Dr. Bayisetty. You will not be disappointed. read more

I have pretty good teeth, so my main measures of a dentist are: 1) does she push me to do unnecessary dental work and 2) how good are the hygienist and office staff, since I'll be working with them even more than with the dentist. Dr. Bayisetty does very well on both measures. Her hygienist is skillful and pleasant, and her office manager is very on-the-ball. And she has never recommended unnecessary work - she has been very willing to "wait and see". I am very, very pleased. The office is only open three days a week, and it's a single-dentist practice, so scheduling can be a little tricky. read more
