I had my first visit here and it was a very uncomfortable experience. The X-rays took a long time with multiple retakes, which made it painful to keep biting down repeatedly. During the cleaning, the hygienist was quite rough and I was poked several times, which hurt. The appointment also ran much longer than expected, so my parking expired and I had to leave to move my car, and overall the visit took so long that I missed lunch and was extremely hungry by the end. After I returned, additional imaging was done by another assistant, which again took a long time and was uncomfortable because she took so many tries. While the dentist apologized and explained new patients usually take longer, it overall wasn't very reassuring. The whole experience felt so poorly managed. I left feeling sore, hungry, and stressed, and came home in tears. Because of this experience, I just can't return. read more

I am new to the area and needed a dentist because I lost a filling. I called this practice and scheduled an appointment for a Dentist approximately a month in advance. After going through all of the new patient things, when I am now expecting a dentist to come and address the primary reason for my appointment, I was told my appointment was over. I was then told the dentist who would generally work the Saturday had taking the day off to attend a wedding. They had several opportunities before my appointment to make me aware of this. On my way out I choose to schedule an appointment to come back to address my initial concerns. I was initially offered an appointment for the following week but it was right in the middle of my work day and would have essentially require me to take an entire day off; not something I thought necessary. I requested a later time of the day and the first available time was about three weeks off and I accepted it. As I'm leaving the administrative assistance proceed to berate me about the fact that I am now delaying my care but they would be glad to accommodate me when I experience an emergency which is highly likely now. I walked out feeling rather manipulated, insulted and frustrated to have to tolerate such unprofessionalism and disrespectful behaviour just to get basic care. I honestly have no desire to return to this practice for any reason. The entire experience from the very beginning, with the lack of integrity, disrespectful behaviour of both and my time just all just puts me off. And, the final straw was the attempt to use fear and manipulation as if they are significantly more invested in my care than I am. They seriously need to understand that professionalism, integrity and respectfulness towards others is simply not optional. read more

I've been a patient there for couple of years. I had hygiene there and everything was fine. But last November I start having problems with my teeth. So i tried to fix it there and other offices. I always loved Flawness Dental but starting this year I cannot say that I am happy with the service. They are pretty fast to schedule consultation but It take ages to schedule appointment. Then I went there cause I had issues with one of my tooth after bonding ( I did it in other place). Dr Kelley adjusted the bonding but she did it to much so sensitivity backed. During the procedure I asked her if it is enough cause I felt that everything is ok already but she said that we need to adjust more so as a result i got my sensitivity back. After that I tried to schedule another appointment to fix it. Dr Kelley is a good doctor but she doesn't want to listen to the patient at all. Dr Khanna called me back, she was reasonable when she asked me to provide her with all procedures that I had. I did it ( it was on Wed) , on Fri evening I got a call back , so they asked me to provide with more details so I had to contact another office so they will send more detailed info. Again I missed 2 days and they returned to me in the evening before weekends. And then I got a bill for $82. That was for service with Dr Kelley. Of course I paid that charging $82 for something that caused another problem with tooth and then it takes ages to schedule an appointment to fix it, this is definitely not professional. Again you have good doctors and I always enjoyed be one of your patients but this situation is really frustrating. I hope that my review will help you to rethink your approach to customers cause you definitely can be better. read more

An amazing dental office that my entire family goes. The office is extremely clean (and even cleaner now during the pandemic) and I feel completely comfortable going even during the pandemic. They really take their patients and staffs' safety seriously and had invested in a medical grade air purifier for every single room. All the doctors and staffs are absolutely amazing. Friendly and professional at the same time. They genuinely cares for your health and making sure you have healthy teeth for life. Some may consider this place as "pricey" but I think it becomes that way because they care so much for your teeth that they want to do the most they can possibly do. They have never recommended anything to me that I felt was unnecessary and have always worked with my insurance for the best way of paying. There were some appointments that they told me they don't want me to pay now since they want to work things out with insurance first to make sure I don't overpay and I really appreciate their approach. read more

My husband lost two perfectly healthy teeth, his second and third molars, because of Dr. Khanna's incompetence. It all started in a simple check-up session by Dr. Khanna drill opened a healthy tooth to see what is the cause of a bit of sensitivity and my husband ended up living in agonizing pain for over 6 months! We spent over 4,000 dollars and he ended up having to extract two teeth!!! Our experience with Flawless Dental has been one of the worst experiences of our life!! We landed at Logan airport and arrived at our hotel at 1'clock in the morning. We are here from Seattle so my daughter can go to summer camp in New Hampshire. Her braces started digging into her on the flight. Since it's an overnight camp, we had to get this fixed. I left messages for 4 orthodontists and Dr. Khanna was the only one who returned our call. She said she is not normally open on Saturdays but she said for us to meet her at the office. She was so pleasant and fixed the issue quickly. Her office was convenient and clean, and her accountant even met us in the hall to make sure we found it. I've been going to Flawless Dental, Dr. Khana and her associates for many years now. The office is warm, inviting and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable on any new technology in dentistry and I can't remember a time I've had to wait more than a minute or two for my appointment. Over the years I've sent them quite a few family members, friends and even clients who have have all come back to me with a bright healthy smile and a thank you. On a personal note the two times I can remember that I've had emergencies Dr. Khana herself or an associate saw me immediately and was able to solve my problem or at least keep me out of pain until I was able to get back to the office. All this place sees is dollar signs! $$$$ My first visit with Flawless Dental started out great - my hygienist was incredibly nice and made me feel right at home; she was also extremely gentle with the teeth, which was wonderful. Having never had problems with my teeth before - NO CAVITIES and straight teeth, never needed braces - I was not surprised when she told me my pearly whites looked great, with some minor signs that I might grind my teeth at night. Then Dr. Khanna came in to take a closer look - and miraculously found SIX CAVITIES. I nearly passed out in my chair. Since I don't eat candy, chew sugary gum, etc - we attributed these new cavities to my occasional (i'm talking once every maybe 2 months) indulgence in a Diet Coke. She did show me pictures of my back teeth that showed signs of teeth grinding and a resulting cavity - it was obvious it could eventually ruin my teeth, so she recommended I get a mouth guard. Never once was I consulted about my insurance, the cost of this mouth guard - nothing. Now on to these "cavities" - I did not question them because I figured why bother, she obviously knows better than I do. So I scheduled to have them done over the course of two visits. Again, she never consulted with me about the cost of these things. It wasn't until I was sitting in the chair, with the novocaine in, that she informed me they only offer the "tooth colored" fillings there, which cost about 25% more than the silver fillings. I almost died when I got the bill for those babies. Now, onto my next issue...I have been told my entire life by my childhood dentist and doctor how amazed they were by how straight my teeth were without ever needing braces. So naturally, Dr. Khanna proceeded to try and convince me during my first visit at Flawless Dental that I needed INVISALIGN. I laughed and said absolutely not. She continued to push this Invisalign thing during my subsequent visits, but I stood my ground. During my last visit there, about a year ago, once again, my hygienist told me my teeth looked great, no signs of cavities, I should be good to go until next visit. Then Dr. Khanna comes in and finds another "cavity". When I asked to see it on the monitor, she told me it was incredibly small and superficial, so it would likely not be visible on the monitor - I'm sorry, but what did you just say? My cavity is invisible to anyone but you? Yeah, that's what I thought. I told her I'll make an appointment for next year, and I walked out of there knowing I would never return. Since then, I have received multiple emails from the office urging me to book my next appointment, they have plenty of openings, etc - so clearly, the business must not be doing so well. A side note: I was left waiting for every appointment I made there, no matter what time of day it was. read more

BIG RIP OFF !!! BE AWARE !!! Came for teeth cleaning that I was told cost $100, walked out with $158 bill and was told that $58 is for "doctor exam" that I was not told about before the appointment. I called few other dental places and they charge $70-90 for cleaning and it obviously includes "doctor exam" that takes 2-5 minutes to begin with. Scam artists period ! oh and they also refuse to issue a refund for that $58 bucks by telling me: "Too late you already paid" EDIT: $58 fee was NEVER mentioned to me. They just charged it to my credit card without even telling me. Will take more action to get my money back ! EDIT: Better Business Bureau complaint filed. Next action to file dispute with credit card or sue the place for $58 dollars + court fees + my time read more

I have seen Dr. Safaei twice now. Once for a standard cleaning and another time to have a filing for a cavity. A couple of things I really like unrelated to her direct work. 1. The times they have for appts and the ease of making them. The fact that I can make an appt at 5:45 at night is super helpful. Also, you can make an appt online through zocdoc which also saves me time. 2. The dental hygentists and receptionist are all very friendly and helpful. I have never had to wait long to be seen. 3. They actually have recent magazines. I know this is not why you choose a dentist, but I really do appreciate it. I am really picky about dentists. I have not found one I like since I left the Amherst area. On both visits I have found Dr. Safaei to be friendly and helpful. I didn't have much of an interaction with her during my cleaning, but the hygienist was really good. I found her to be thorough and friendly. When I came back for my filling Dr. Safaei did the procedure. She got right to work and kept me updated on what she was doing as she worked. She kept checking to make sure I was not in pain (which I really appreciated) and was very pleasant and informative throughout. I have had nothing but good experiences here and have finally found a go to dentist. read more

I first came to Flawless Dental through a recommendation from a close friend. I had not been to the dentist in a long time and way anxious about going. The amazing staff make you feel comfortable immediately. I had an excellent cleaning and have continued to receive top notch care here. I have since gotten a night guard, had numerous cleanings and some minor dental work (porcelain onlay) and had been extremely pleased with both the results and care. As a newcomer to the area, I knew one of my tasks would be to select a dentist. Then having a tooth ache this decision was elevated to a priority. I made the decision to select Dr. Khanna of Flawless Dental. Now, a year later I am happy I made this decision. Being a senior citizen I had a mouth full of quite old dental work that was in need of repair and or replacement. The practice, taking a triage approach, did the needed work and outlined a plan of what would be needed for a healthy mouth for the long term. The work was planned with taking a budget in mind. On a number of occasions I needed an immediate appointment. I always was given an immediate appointment, even on days the office was closed or after regular scheduled hours. So going to the dentist isn't always the most fun thing to do. We can all agree with that statement! However, in selecting a dentist, one wants compassion, professionalism, and above all...good music! After many years without dental insurance, I finally bit the bullet and got some and made the much dreaded dentist appointment. First day, I was greeted incredibly warmly and felt like an old crony instantly. I had a cleaning and x-rays done by Maureen, who was instantly cool and like-able. Everything was done thoroughly and with as little pain as possible. On my return visit, I had many procedures done by Dr. Khanna and Luis, with as little discomfort of mouth. The whole ambiance of the office is warm and friendly...and without the dreaded dental music stereotype! I heard great global grooves, jazz, and classical. Nice mix! And on top of it all...great financial services!!! What my insurance didn't cover, they're helping me with, which is sooooo fantastic, I can't even begin to describe. Dr. Ruhi Khanna is so caring and concerned about health of the patient above all else, and has made going back to the dentist MUCH less painful than anticipated! I haven't met the other doctors yet, but I feel incredibly confident in their selection of staff and services, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment if Dr. Khanna was on holiday to see anyone in the office. read more

Also they were extremely busy but fit me in for an emergency appointment. They explain what they are doing so you are aware of what's going on! Amazing.!!!!!!!!! I've had my fair share of dental work over the years, and I have to say, Dr.Parisa Safaei is the best I've come across. I immediately trusted her and knew I was in good hands So today was the big test: I got my first two cavities filled. ! Yes! Now I have had cavities filled before and can always remember grasping desperately onto the armrests of the chair because I could definitely feel pain through the novocain. Not this time. Every other dentist I've been to has shot me with novocain and then immediately started drilling... maybe that had something to do with all the PAIN I felt!!! Anyway, less than an hour later Dr.Safaei was finished with my fillings and had taken before, during and after pictures and explained everything she did to me. I never saw how a filling was done before! So interesting! I actually SAW the tooth decay! Kind of gross, sure, but at least I know what was done, why and what it looks like. Makes me feel totally at peace with this office and specially dr.Safaei I am thrilled with this dentist and will more than happily go back for three more appointments to get the rest of my dental works one. The worst dentist I could have gone to. Absolutely unethical and unprofessional. I chose the office because they are within the "preferred dentist network" of my insurance. Every time I went in there for one thing I left with getting something absolutely different and more expensive. I did not realize it since insurance was covering everything. However, the last time I went was to get two fillings, and Dr. Khanna recommended that I get some type of porcelain onlay (which costs $1200 a piece and I needed 2) I agreed. Since I am not a dentist and do not know what it is I was foolish enough to think that the Dr. would be ethical and tell me if there was a difference in price. However I was never given any estimates or out of pocket costs, so I presumed there weren't any. After the first visit I was told I owe $480, and when I was shocked that I was not told about this before I was assured that this was all inclusive and covered my next visit also. But at the end the next visit I had to pay $588 more!!! I was outraged!! Not only did they not tell me about the initial total out of pocket cost, they didn't even submit all of the information the insurance required for the claim! And to make things even worse, Dr. Khanna's contract as a "preferred dentist" expired May 6 and i was never even told about it! This means that my costs are now much higher and insurance covers less. When I called to ask why I was never informed of this, they said someone who could answer my question would call me back. And no one has. I am beyond appalled. This is a dispicable and dishonest practice. The lady, Sherryl, that does billing does not seem to know what she is doing whatsoever, and seems to me that this is not a dentists' office but a scam.
