The clothes? Amazing quality and super inclusive for all bodies and styles. The atmosphere? Super chill and friendly. Supporting local is super close to my heart. It's not just about shopping; it's about uplifting our community. And Bloom is a shining example of local done right. The owner has a great eye for the best lines out there - she just gets it. There isn't a single time I walk in there and i don't find one or 10 things I love. Oh, and if you're looking to snag a gift (or two) while shopping for yourself, Bloom's got you covered. Love their cute sassy cards too! Huge props to the owner and the squad for making every trip to Bloom a fab experience. If you haven't yet, pop into both of their locations. It's more than shopping; it's an experience, and you'll leave with a big smile and some killer finds. My most finest memory though, was my mom who has passed away knew I loved the shop so much and for my birthday she arranged a shopping spree at Bloom from the sweet owner Rejane. It is a memory I will love forever! Stay local, stay stylish, and keep supporting gems like Bloom!

Plus, the deals are hard to beat, and I often end up discovering something I didn't even know I needed. I also love that it's easy to make returns here from Nordstrom.com, with a free in-store return for eligible items (some exceptions), which is especially convenient now that the Nordstrom in Escondido is closed. I frequent this location because it's accessible, well-organized, and I always leave happy with my purchases. It's one of my favorite spots for both browsing and snagging great finds. I'll definitely keep coming back! It's free to join the Nordy Club, no points at Rack, but you get seasonal discounts, a birthday perk, 5% off with a Nordstrom card, plus bonus coupons and early sale access. I am 28 and wanted to feel more confident in what I was wearing and stop having clothes as a source of stress or confusion. I tried to learn alone with things like Stitch Fix, browsing Pinterest or using other free online resources...but it was a game changer working with Carrie and saved me a lot of time trying to figure things out on my own. Style/fashion/clothes is something that used to stress me out so much. While working with Carrie, I not only gained confidence in my wardrobe and reduced future stress when going to any event (or even with every day clothing decisions/being on zoom, etc), I also I felt like I got a personal class on fashion! I learned what colors look the best on me, what kinds of clothing (shape, material, etc.) I like the best and WHY. This makes it so much easier for me to make decisions about clothing in the future, as well. Carrie was so great to work with!! I feel so set up for the foreseeable future and would definitely work with her again in the future years when I need a wardrobe refresh :)

The cashier was friendly and I was on my way. When I arrived home I realized that I hadn't been given the correct discount on my purchase. I called and the same cashier answered the phone. I explained to him the discrepancy and he apologized saying, "my bad, just bring the receipt next time you come in and we will take care of it." I'm used to J Crew's usually great customer service so I didn't think about it. Fast forward a week, and I returned to the store. I walked around the store and shopped a little more. I tried on a few things that didn't work. As I was walking around I spotted a pair of shoes I really liked. I tried them on and decided I wanted them. They were marked down and in an area where there were additional mark down on sale item signs. When I got to the counter, I explained the situation with the previous cashier and the woman (Krystal) at the counter said to me it was not on further sale at that point and she stated the day that sale started. I pointed out to her that that was the day that I was there and it was on my receipt. She begrudgingly agreed acting like I was in the wrong. She then rang up the shoes which came up as a higher price than originally marked. When I questioned her about this, she said they were not on sale. I had to physically show her where the basket was that had the shoes in it and she still did not want to give me the sale price. There were multiple shoes in that basket, including another pair of the ones that I got. It was one of the strangest most disappointing interactions I have ever had in a retail store. It felt accusatory, as if I was trying to pull a fast one. I'm not sure what the issue was, but I won't be in again anytime soon. If I do decide to return, I will throughly check my receipt before I leave and you should too
