Specialties
My work is both Intuitive and Structural, based in a Deep Tissue Myofascial approach. I use slow, firm contact to bring awareness to tissues and tension. Additionally, I utilizes Swedish Massage to flush and increase fluid circulation, Trigger Point Therapy to address long standing points of stagnation in the muscle bellies, and other Neuromuscular Therapies to assist in Orthopedic recoveries.
History
Established in 2011.
Prairie Ocean Bodywork was born from the desire to bring something of value in myself to service in the world. On an instinctual level, I recognize that that is what so many of us are wanting to bring into the world.
In the beginning, my practice was completely mobile; I had a regular space at the Lafayette and Erie Farmer's Markets. As time carried on, I settled in studio spaces here and there, bringing my clientele along with me. In 2013, I found home in my Niwot office partnership. The space is inviting, warm, well lite and vibrant with plant life. The space is one you can unwind and let go in!
In terms of my continuing education, which is truly the root of my practice, I have been stepping my self in pre/peri natal somatic psychology, visceral manipulation, bodymind centering, qigong, contact improv and a world of other movement practices. From these studies, I gleam more and more so that movement is the underlying factor of health!

In 2012, she expanded her studies into the Brook Institute, the Barral Institute and the Daoist Dipper School.
