If you're seeking out pet friendly hotels, check this one out. It's certainly upscale, clean and lovely. The main level lobby has a pool table, comfy couch seating, chess board, books, plants, complimentary water station, clean bathrooms, Rosewild, bar, coffee stop, small snack area and gifts such as branded coffee mugs and umbrellas. Each time I have entered Jasper Hotel, the staff has been complimentary and kind. Had I not had an Air b n b, I would certainly consider Jasper Hotel considering I have two dogs. Bravo on accommodating dogs, Jasper. After all, they are part of the family too.

I wish I had that fitness room and sauna room at my house lol. The front desk staff were also really very kind and nice. I liked there was a bar/restaurant on the main floor right by check in too. And they had a pool table on the main floor too!! So much to do, the space was utilized perfectly. Fair pricing and so clean and airy. I'll be back when I'm in Fargo again.

What initially got us to visit was one of their Saturday comedy show nights that they hold in their upper level loft. We had no idea how charming and pretty it is out there. We've already been back again and will continue to keep visiting. Wide variety of wine options and they will help you construct different flights. On our second trip, I enjoyed the sangria as it felt like a great thing to drink out in the sun, sitting by the pond. They have some beer options as well. Though I don't believe they have Diet Coke, as I recall them telling a customer that, in case that's your thing. I didn't pay attention to the food menu, which was limited - I think pretzels, Rhombus Guys frozen pizza, a charcuterie type option, maybe more. Check their social media for any food trucks that may be on site that day.

The grounds are gorgeous and the view through the windows of the space drop your need for decorations down to very little if you just let the outdoor scenery compliment your colors. The DJ was fantastic. High praise, two very enthusiastic thumbs up for his well-timed one liners and crowd pleasing tunes. The bartender - he's the opposite of the DJ. And unfortunately, the awesomeness of the DJ doesn't make up for a bartender who is a bit of a jackass. If you're reading this review, ask to meet the bartender before you book. Don't take my word for it, but don't go in assuming you're getting a whiskey-pouring version of the DJ. That he ain't. Lastly, they are very serious about their outside alcohol policy. And while I understand this, obviously from a profit stand point, what was slightly less appreciated was the obvious lengths they went to in order to police that. It felt a little bit like every guest was deemed 'guilty until proven innocent' when it came to bringing in outside beverages. Maybe it was just us - perhaps we gave off a 'serious boozers' vibe that had them on their toes but regardless it felt over-the-top. If you're touring this space, take it all in. He didn't even welcome them to the venue, he was only concerned about the "NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL" rule. The list goes on and on. Between Roy (owner) and the crabby bartender, I am not sure which one was more rude or clueless about the hospitality business. Ever hear the phrase "the customer is always right"? I do NOT recommend that you use this venue if you want to feel welcome. We were just a paycheck.

You might still run into inconsiderate tenants who think taking the line elevator in the building out of operation so they don't have to wait for it is okay, but jerks are everywhere until they can be evicted. The management has been great and responsive to nearly any issue that has been discovered since the building opened two years ago, and has addressed them better now than ever before.

My friends that I had taken there, so keep going back too, and even order a good portion of the soup to go for take-home. It ambience is classy in the front room, with white table cloths and napkins.
