He quickly diagnosed my issue and explained everything thoroughly. While I was shocked by the price tag to snake the sink/drain line ($520), Juan's promptness, thorough work and explanation and overall professional service made it well worth it. I later validated with a plumber friend that emergency plumbing work is just expensive, so the $520 doesn't sound too outrageous. Overall - highly recommend calling Juan / Clove for any plumbing needs.

I'm pretty unhappy with how Clove handled my situation. Long story short - we had a leak from our…read moreshower, clove rep came to fix it, then after mold remediation was already done we saw that it was still leaking, clove rep came back to fix it again, then I saw that where the leak was repaired again there were complete gaps between the shower wall and wall itself (as pictured) so water would have come spilling into the walls, then they came back to fix again. The part though that really bothers me is that, after all this, they also took my baseboard from the wall. No idea what they did with it. I called asking where it was and they never called me back. I'm now having to spend more money to get a custom baseboard created to match the rest of the room. I don't enjoy not supporting local businesses, but the fact that I'm now having to spend more money because of the baseboard being taken instead of this being compensated for is the reason I'm posting this. Not okay and won't use again.

Avila was quick to respond and come out to take a look at the issue. They were able to simply adjust the line coming out of the wall and angled it down to allow both the stove to be lowered and pushed back all the way. They were very kind to help level the stove to the counter. Kind of wish the callout cost was up front in the messaging. It was $450 to simply twist the gas line down and adjust the legs of the stove. A little steep for a simple callout like this.

When I reached out on a Sunday morning about a water leak having been reported for our house,…read moreMichael (the business owner) was very responsive and came at noon exactly as promised and started to investigate the issue. It seemed to be an issue with the main line and they spent the entire rest of the Sunday digging up the front yard area to look for the leak. On Monday, the next day, they came back with their entire team of 3-4 people who trenched the area until they located the leak. Once they identified the leak, they were able to quickly fix it and restore the landscaping to the original condition, even finding the right colour-matched mulch. The entire exercise did cost close to $6,000, and I don't know how that compares to other companies; however, it was a job well done and the problem was addressed in a timely manner.

When the inspection was completed, Michael's team returned to finish up the job. They were thorough, efficient, and nicely cleaned up our driveway and sidewalk. Communication with both Michael and the dispatcher was quick and clear. HIGHLY recommend Michael and his team. I apologized and even offered to pay $ for any work done. So due to their lack of transparency and being disrespectful when i was the one that really didn't need to apologize at all because he essentially lacked the good trust and faith to see that the online business information was truly to blame. So, no i am not recommending this business to anyone I know or any other business owner. I just don't want anything like what happened to me to happen to anyone else. The second time I had the conservator of my deceased parents estate pay him. Maybe it wasn't fast enough- who knows? That's why I tested the waters by offering to pay him $. But still no response. Childish, really, I think. So I have since moved on and hired others with no red flags drama.
