We had been considering engineered hardwood but that would have cost 4 times as much. Today the installation was completed. His crew was fast, hard working, professional, and pleasant. After they left, I realized that some of the furniture was not where we wanted it and we were unable to move it ourselves. Even though it was a Friday afternoon with miserable traffic, Jerry and his son came back and moved the furniture for us. That was above and beyond. The floors are beautiful. They messed up our based boards, broke running boards in our kitchen, etc. The entire flooring started to buckle up within 1 year. After more than a year of chasing them due to our flooring being under warranty, they finally got an inspector out, who said the install was bad. After another 6 months of chasing them, they finally came to reinstall the flooring, only to find out that the first time, they didn't install a moisture barrier. They didn't purchase enough flooring, which BTW, how do you not know how much to buy when after "30 years in business" and they had our house measurements from the first time?!? Never came back to finish the job. Now we have exposed flooring, duct tape everywhere, and an unresponsive company... These guys are terrible!
