I'm a teacher, and I'd say teachers can pretty much tell when someone is passionate about their career. He always looks forward to class,…read moreand even on his cranky days when he doesn't, he ALWAYS comes out with a huge smile on his face. It's in a great location, I usually do some grocery shopping or just work in the Dunkin donuts right next door. He'll come out and find me there, we share a donut, then head home. The instructions are amazing, so patient, professional, and adaptive. There are a LOT of kids in there some days and I don't know how they don't just pull their hair out and yell all day lol. But at home, all I need to do is tell my son I'm reporting his behavior to Instructor Jane or Grandmaster Suh, and he straightens out. It's like having the threat of Santa there all year round lol. But in all seriousness, they do learn discipline, respect, and patience. Any place that stressed those factors more, are winners to me. And yes it is pricey, but all these kid activities are. I'm happy to be happy spending my money on a place that I feel deserve all of it and more for what they do for the community. Oh! And they have Fun night where they watch & feed your kids (siblings allowed) for a small fee (waaay cheaper than a sitter and at least you know them) for a few hrs so you can have date night! My favorite. We've taken advantage of it any time we could.
