Tough call between a 3 and a 4 star review, deciding on 3 due to the spice level of the food. Service was good, we had a to go order placed and food was ready on time. Restaurant was fairly empty when we went but they had nice indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered two dishes mild, specifically "not spicy" and unfortunately they were on the edge of hot, definitely a spicy medium heat that we did not enjoy. Had we ordered spice and not been able to handle it that would have been on us, but would not expect that hot of a level for a non spicy request. The meat was good, rice was decent, naan bread not bad - the spice was unpleasant.

Nice experience overall. For a family party of 4 we ordered different plates and shared and enjoyed the experience. The service was very good and the place was well kept and maintained. The taste and quality hit the mark and the prices were reasonable and in line with the market. Would recommend the place if you like Indian cuisine.

I ordered onion kulcha, basil garlic naan, plain parantha, and gobi manchurian. * Onion Kulcha - easily the best item. Soft, flavorful, and really well made. * Basil Garlic Naan - good balance of flavor, enjoyable. * Plain Parantha - just okay, a bit on the dry side. Last time we ordered dal makhani, and it wasn't what you expect from a restaurant-style dal makhani. We actually had to add tadka at home just to make it edible. Still, we decided to give the restaurant another try with a different item from the menu. Unfortunately, the gobi manchurian turned out even worse than the dal. At least the dal was still edible, but with the gobi manchurian, I don't know what went wrong. Maybe it was too much soy sauce, vinegar, or just too many sauces altogether--but the only thing we could taste was a harsh tanginess, blackish color, and the coating was too thick. I'm sorry to say, but it's something you could make better at home. There was no real flavor of gobi at all, just an overpowering sauce and thick coating. It was really disappointing because we hoped for a better experience this time, but sadly, it fell short again.

Delicious, small portions, attentive service, open late, feels like a treehouse getting around the building. 100% not handicapped accessible.

The lunch special was a great deal and gave a good taste of Indian cuisine. It had daal, a yogurt sauce, lamb curry and rice pudding. I also love the paneer here since it's house made and super soft. The portion size is quite filling and I passed out afterwards.

tasty food and great service. Gobi Manchurian was best!

One of the best Indian food I've ever had. We have been back twice now and food continues to spark and inspire. This time my fav was tandoori chicken so flavorful and packed with texture. Highly recommended!

I'm still fairly new to Indian cuisine and haven't yet strayed away from the basics of butter chicken, chicken tikka, and naan. Comparing the food I've had here from a few other places, I'd say this place was the most unique. For one, the butter chicken was a lot more thick and sweet than any other butter chicken I've tasted. There was almost a pumpkin-y taste that I wasn't particularly fond of. Also, the server told us that the spicy level for the butter chicken would be too spicy for us, so we ordered medium and were left with basically no spice at all. The portion was quite small but they were generous with the chicken itself. As for the chicken tikka kebab, I'd say it was lacking some flavor and was a bit inconsistent from piece to piece. Some pieces were over cooked and slightly dry while other pieces were cooked perfectly. The naan was pretty good. Crispy on the outside which I've never had. For the high prices, average portion sizes, and okay flavors, this spot is definitely not on the top of my list. Service was decent, a bit slow but nothing particularly bad. Was a pretty nice ambiance inside with lots of tables, but very quiet since we went around 3:00 PM. IG: chelchomps

We always walked by this place and wondered if they were good. They are. They have a really nice, homelike setting, very friendly and polite staff, and the food was one of the best Indian I have had in a while. That said, the vegetarian tikki masala was a little too thick but the flavors were still great. The tandoori was excellent and the breads were outstanding.

Egg Masala Dosa Lunch but where is the egg?

I'm feeling a little under the weather and knew just the thing to perk me up. I've wanted to try Prabh Indian Kitchen's lunch menu for a while and I love a good dosa. I put in an Uber Eats order and patiently waited for my goodies. I've ordered pickup before and it was pretty good. This order was packaged with care. No spillage over here. As I unraveled my precious goodies, I noticed things seemed off. Egg masala dosa ($14) had a potato filling but on the side since I got delivery. If the egg was there, it sure was hiding. The dosa was not crisp, but that's what I get for getting it delivered. The side of soup and yogurt was on the small side. The dosa was small too. Veggie lunch box ($13) was mostly rice and a blend of two veggie curries with a side of naan. Again, it was underwhelming. I ordered it spicy and even that was lacking. Overall, this was a $30-something dollar lunch that was not great. Maybe they had some issues today? It was still nice to treat myself to some delivered food and nurse myself back to health.

Lovely dinner here. Been here many times. Solid food, not as exciting in ambience department. Popadoms so good we ordered two. Garlic basil naan also so good we reordered. Only food complaint was the shrimp vindaloo curry was skimpy on the shrimp. Just charge more for it and fill it like you do your chicken curry.

I'm glad to see that this restaurant is trying some things that are new. We tried the Pani Puri (see photo). You pour the tamarind sauce into the hole in the top and eat in one bite. Tasty and refreshing. We also ordered the cheese naan, chicken coconut curry, and the veggie korma. These dishes definitely had Indian flavors but they were a bit different (good thing) than what I've had in the past. The cheese naan was good but needed a bit more cheese - and maybe some garlic :) Great place. Sudesh helped us out during the entire evening and was a joy to talk with.

My only issue with Indian dining is that my girl is veggie and I like a little chicken. It makes ordering at most indian restaurants costly and we end up taking half the food home. At New Delhi you can order a thali plate at dinner. Either two veggie dishes or one meat/one veggie on the same plate. Comes with chai, rice, choice of naan, raita, and a small salad. Plus dessert! Such an amazingly delicious deal and allows single diners to have a complete indian meal without spending $50. How the indian place down the street is packed while this one is not is mind boggling.
