There's plenty of free parking on the lot. Once inside I headed towards the shelves motor oil and picked out the one for my car. This shop was clean, with shiny floors and organized merchandise. There was good selection of motor oils for European vehicles and reasonably priced. The staffers seemed to be helpful as they took their time with each customer, but some not as efficient to move the long line of waiting customers along. Jorge, the staffer who helped me went beyond his scope of service. Even though I'm feminine and such a girly girl, I am capable of popping the hood open to pour motor oil into the engine. With Jorge's help by providing the funnel made it easier. Jorge even brought out a few tools to tighten the license plate frame on the bumper. Details with service that make a difference and always make me a repeat customer. I've been to other shops in the LA area, which is why my info was already in their system. Jorge was beyond helpful, courteous, nice and had a positive attitude. I wanted to spotlight his efforts and wish other businesses would do the same for customers. Oh YES! O'Reilly gets my Recommend!!

Josiah initially helped me and was incredibly friendly & patient. He did everything he could within his role & tried his best to assist, even connecting me with tech support. Unfortunately, my issue was more complicated- I had created my iCloud acct. with a different spelling given the name I used was already taken, which made it very difficult to access & unlock my phone. That's when Shane stepped in, and I'm so grateful he did. He was patient and took the time to walk me through everything, and guided me on exactly who to contact and what steps to take. Even with my proof of purchase and ID, it wasn't enough to immediately resolve the issue, which is very frustrating- especially coming from Android and still learning how to navigate the iPhone. What stood out most was Shane's follow-up and genuine care. He checked in to see if I had heard back from tech support and made sure I was taken care of, knowing how long those responses can take. With his guidance and patience, I was finally able to get my phone unlocked. I truly appreciate both Josiah's kindness and Shane's dedication. Shane went above and beyond to make a stressful situation much easier, and I'm very thankful for his help. That said, I do feel Apple should make it easier for customers to unlock their own devices. It was frustrating that even with proof of purchase and ID, there isn't a way for stores to assist directly with unlocking, and wait time for online support to get back can take more than 2 1/2 weeks. Because of this experience, I would hesitate to choose Apple again in the future. My rating is higher primarily because of the excellent service from Shane and Josiah--their professionalism, patience, and follow-through made all the difference in an otherwise very frustrating process.

    Apple in Fashion Valley is like the typical crazy busy Apple stores in most places…read more Have been here a few times and although I didn't like the wait time for a tech staffer to help me at the Genius Bar, when I finally got someone to assist me with tech issues, the staffers all tried their best to Fix the issue. Some were successful and others not so much but I did witness their effort in really trying. Impressed with the work effort, I returned to this store to see if they could match another offer I got from ATT, where I would get a substantial amount for a trade in and additional discounts on accessories. Sadly, despite all their efforts, this Apple Store couldn't match all the offers ATT could and subsequently I ended up accepting ATT. The Genius Bar staffers and store manager were great and whether or not you have another offer, I suggest you see if Apple can match it. At least you'll know if your other offer is legit and worth it. Recommend

Rather than upselling me on a brand-new and pricey rebuild, Shannon cloned all of my data over from my current hard drive, put it on a new hard drive, and upgraded me to Windows 11. And through sheer determination, Shannon also fixed my reboot time -- it went from 2.5 hours down to under a minute. This was without a doubt a hugely time-consuming and frustrating process, but Shannon and his team went above and beyond to diagnose and repair it. I absolutely recommend Shannon and SD Bytes if you need a repair or an upgrade or a rebuild or something brand new. You won't find a more competent and honest team in San Diego!

Yeah, it was definitely one of those SMH moments. Not to fear, Uno Wireless cured my blues within an hour. I dealt with Scott, the owner, who had years of experience in cell phone repairs especially with iPhones. After dropping off my iPhone, he required a $25 down payment to diagnosis the problem and afterwards pay the difference if it was repairable when you pick it up. In my case, the total cost was $65 to have the water logged headphone jack cleaned and repaired. He mentioned if the phone was not repairable, I would be charged for the initial $25 to diagnosis the problem. Totally fair. I walked around Newport Avenue to kill an hour and came back to be pleasantly surprised that my phone was operational and paid the additional $40 for the repairs. Scott was quick and reliable which are two traits that are hard to come by now and days. If I ever have any of those "oh snap" moments, I will definitely return back to Uno Wireless to have my phone repaired.

This can be said for the people who have easy fixes and/or communicate every single needed detail to him before he goes to work. When it comes to customers with complicated matters however, this is where it gets shaky. Very shaky. The great 1989 earthquake of San Francisco shaky. Donald Trump's reaction to Bad Bunny shaky. He becomes combative and defensive, as you can see on his replies on all the bad reviews here. I brought my Macbook to him on May 2024 because it kept freezing. He got it working again in about two weeks! Amazing!!! HOWEVER... what he decided to do WITHOUT MY CONSENT was upgrade my system. I never asked him to do such a thing. So in his defense, he said I should've told him from the beginning to not upgrade my computer. I didn't want an upgrade because my older programs I frequent would not work anymore with the new OS. So, what? Is it standard operating procedure for this to happen? Is it common knowledge? I never signed a contract, nor did he ever give a word stating he would upgrade my system if he ever saw the need for it. This was a continuous uphill argument that only gave me a worsening, worsening impression on him. As you can see, Roger does not practice the classic businessman's motto "the customer is always right". He did offer to fix things anyway at no additional cost. Thing is, I gave him my laptop to attempt reversing the upgrade in June 2024 and he kept it for ONE WHOLE YEAR. Within that year, I'd follow up with him every week. He apparently has been hospitalized, went to the Philippines and was having personal problems. I don't know which of those to believe. But long story short, I didn't receive my laptop back until early July 2025. There was no extra work done to it. It was in the same condition as when I handed it back to him a year prior with the updated OS. He even gave me a box for a new iPad, with no iPad inside it. Very funny Roger. People, I've come to learn he isn't registered with the BBB or the BHGS. He also blocked my phone number, as I was trying to reach out to him for at least a partial refund, and my text never said delivered. This guy used to argue that he did fix my system, and the amount I paid him covered that. But where's the customer satisfaction? I didn't get that AT ALL. The amount I paid him SHOULD include customer satisfaction. It's basic business principle isn't it? So behind the polite smile, the "God bless you", the "it warms my heart when you leave good reviews", this is what you'll get when something doesn't go your way. I'll never have my old Macbook the way it was again and my $372.35 was thrown in the trash. I'll never hear and edit the inspiring audio that I can only access with my old ProTools program. Nor could I ever see or edit the amazing photos I kept in my old Lightroom program ever again. Thank you Roger. Thank you for teaching me that my weakness in undercommunicating will cost me in the end. Thank you for adding an unanswered grievance to my life. This is one malpractice on your part Dr. Apple. And my heart goes out to the others that have been wronged under your care.
