DCB was very responsive to an email with a question on finding a battery solution. The sale transaction was quick with the battery loaded into the car. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience. read more

They DO NOT SELL USED BATTERIES EVER! You can get one for $60@ Battery Specialist in El Cajon. It's the cheapest place for refurbished batteries. My battery started boiling and I was stranded. Everywhere was fortune. Deep Cycle cheapest battery was $190 plus tax. They advertise that they have used batteries however they do not carry refurbished/ used batteries ever. read more

Fast simple- they came out and installed onsite! Great job at a fair price! Would definitely recommend to my friends and family

If you're looking for a battery, stop looking - this is the place. Their price was more than half of what the dealership and other mechanics quoted me. For the exact AGM battery my vehicle requires, the value was unbeatable. No games, no upselling - just a straightforward, fair price from the start. Jake was excellent on the phone. He took the time to answer all of my questions, confirmed the exact battery specs I needed, and made sure they had it in stock and ready to go. Most other places didn't even have the correct battery available, which made a big difference. The install itself was legitimately complicated and Jeff handled it like a pro. He arrived exactly on time, worked efficiently, and clearly knew what he was doing. He was meticulous, made sure everything was secured properly, and didn't rush through it. You can tell he takes pride in doing the job right. Outstanding service, phenomenal pricing, and high-quality work from start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

Attention El Cajon, excellent service. I called Deep Cycle because I had to jump our Mazda two days in a row. They're super friendly and said to stop by and they'll check it out. I don't think I was there for 20 minutes from start to finish. They checked the charging system and determined I had a bad battery. Deep Cycle installed the replacement for a very reasonable price. Also, they carry all sorts of batteries; give them a call. read more

So I found myself in need of a jetski battery after pulling mine from a 5 year storage. I had gotten a new one from San Diego Jetski in PB before they closed and at $200 then was praying it still had life after never being used but yeah no... So I was bummed thinking about the next $200 and as I searched, it was either going to be that bad or then not finding what needed to go in the Sea-Doo. I was at a friends. And we were doing a quick check of the area out in Santee and stumbled on DCB's listing. I made an initial call to check on stock and whimper my sad story and the father and son here were just amazingly cool. They double checked my old battery to try to bring it back to life and once we confirmed it dead beyond death, hooked me up with the right replacement and didn't cripple my wallet. I cant say enough good about the whole experience and will be back for future needs and recommend any and all to do business with them read more

Had an excellent service visit from Chris today. He obviously has a passion for his job...very knowledgeable, but able to explain issues on an "electricity for dummies " level, without making you feel like a dummy! Both my neighbor (who I referred to DCB) and I were entertained and enlightened by this young man. I was expecting bad news and a pricey solution, but was only charged a service visit and given invaluable insight and information! DCB will always be my source for battery needs! read more

Spent some time reading reviews after educating myself online on what types of batteries were available to upgrade our new Travel Trailer batteries, which we picked up last weekend. Found these guys online and their Yelp reviews were outstanding. Gave Jeff a call and from the moment he picked up the phone, I knew the reviews were correct. Was going to give them 4 stars only because of the parking situation driving my 28' trailer to their shop where it was standard parking. But... ...I parked out front, went into the shop to let them know I was there and immediately they moved 2 cars from their workers to make room for me. Wow! When is the last time a business thinks of the customer like a valued asset? Anyway, I asked questions from my research and Jeff gave me options, never pushing anything on me. He answered each of my questions without hesitation and gave me the necessary information I needed to make my decision. Let me say this...these guys know how to run a business. They have my business for sure. Everyone in the shop was very helpful and working away with a smile. Again, rarely do you see happy employees anywhere. Well done guys. Bottle the formula and sell it to others. It's a winner! read more

I was in need of getting new deep cell house batteries for my rv. The company kept me informed on when they would be out and do the installation. Chris came out and immediately recognized that the prior installer wired them incorrectly and it was boiling one battery and not charging the others. He explained everything to me, had the company bring new cable extensions he needed to correct the issue and charged cost for the parts he needed. Chris went above and beyond. I highly recommend this company and will use them whenever I need new batteries. read more

I found Jeff's U-Tube video on-line comparing the Trojan Pacer 6 volt battery vs the Costco Interstate 6 volt battery. He was knowledgeable! 1) He explained the difference in the battery plates and informed me Trojan invented the 6 volt golf cart battery 2) Trojan Pacer has a 2 year free replacement, Costco Interstate 1 year free replacement 3) Costco Interstate battery made in Mexico, Trojan Pacer is MADE in AMERICA! Sold! I bought 4 batteries for my RV and picked up 2 more for my sons. I had batteries delivered to South Orange County. SAM was not only on time he was EARLY and called to tell me! I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend San Diego Deep Cycle Battery to everyone! Great Experience! Thanks Greg Welty read more

I am so thankful I found this place. Not only did they have the battery I needed, it was half the price. More so, the guy was so friendly, offered great communication, and when I went in to pick up the battery he showed extensive knowledge on his trade. I went in yesterday to pickup a battery for one of my best friends, He's been having issues with his vehicle and needed a battery. I spoke to Chris and he not only helped me find the right battery, but he helped with pricing and answered all my questions. Amazing customer service and great prices. Traveling back to the Bay Area and my RV house batteries were shot. I wasn't concerned coming down because I was going to be on shore power. However, heading back I was going to have to boondock along the way. I called to see what was in stock and they had plenty. Zach, was very knowledgable and offered tools to assist in swapping them out. The customer service is impeccable. I would order and have them shipped based on how they treat customers. Prices were cheaper than what I found in the Bay and they offered a military discount. That was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended place that deserves your business. read more

The young man we spoke with was tremendously knowledgeable and friendly and his service was great. We went in looking for two batteries for our rv and left with the exact batteries we needed, at a reasonable price, and key product knowledge. Now my husband knows he can take the old ones back in tomorrow and get a little cash back also. It was a bit tough to find the store, at the back of the complex, but we called and he directed us in. This is now our go-to store for such needs, very glad to find them. read more

I purchased 6 GPL 4CT Lifeline 6 volt, 220 ah, Deep Cycle Marine/RV Batteries and one Excide FP-AGM65 AGM 910 CA 750 CCA 70 AH Group 65. They set up an appointment to meet me at the lot where I store my RV. The young man named Chris called me when he supposed to meet me. Actually, he called about 20min. before he was supposed to be there, (you guessed it he was running a few minutes late) The House aka House/Coach Battery's were all dead and gone. Also due to my neglect, they were all dry as a bone.(boiled dry by the solar system) And the Chassis Battery aka Starter Battery was dead but not dry. Chris arrived, he had all of the Batteries and Battery Cables in less than 2 hours. He did an excellent job. He also changed out 3 battery cables that needed to be replaced. He was very congenial to work with. He also cleaned up the area around where mt RV is parked of all of the trash and corrosion stuff that were on the 10yr old batteries. These people know what they are doing. I called a Golf Cart Battery dealer that's near my home before I called Deep Cycle Battery of San Diego. The company I call gave me a bunch of run- around and seemed to want to only speak to me in Spanish. I was going to buy from them but they seemed like they didn't know what I was asking about. I drive by their shop every day, I wish I could give Deep Cycle Battery 50stars. They know the meaning of customer service and bend over backward to help their customers. read more
