PowerPacked Swimming has been absolutely fantastic for our family. Over the past year (almost two years!), they've done an incredible job teaching my daughter to swim. She's 4 1/2 now and swimming around like a little fish -- confident, safe, and genuinely excited for every lesson. Coach Matthew deserves a special shoutout. He is patient, encouraging, and truly knows how to connect with kids while still pushing them to grow. Watching my daughter's skills and confidence develop under his guidance has been amazing. Power Packed Swimming is great. Everyone is. very welcoming at drop off and pick up. . So my child's instructor is Joshua. Even though my child is just 5 years old, He takes time every week to greet her and get an update on how school is going and how her week is going before starting class. I wanted my kids to actually learn to swim proper strokes and be very confident in the water. We started at a kid friendly swim school right down the street from us and the kids had fun but went nowhere - they loved the water but still needed to be near the wall. We switched to PowerPacked swimming when they were 3 and 4 years old. It's a 10-15 min drive for us, but it has been worth it. Within a month they were swimming, no fear, look forward to their lessons and ask for more. It's also very easy to schedule missed classes and makeup's within their app. Every parent I've recommended PP to has said they're so glad they switched. read more

We started lessons at PowerPacked Swimming right when my son turned two, and we've had a great experience! He started in a group class and we've recently moved to private lessons. I really like that the instructor's focus for the younger kids is water safety - floating independently and getting in/out of the water safely. We've had lessons with three different instructors and all have been kind, patient, and attentive even in a group class setting. The facility is a scuba diving training pool, which I like because it's a small space that doesn't get too chaotic. The building also has a separate room with monitors to watch the pool, which is great for parents that can't be in the pool area or need some down time during lessons! I highly recommend PowerPacked Swimming for lessons at any age! read more

I took my 2 daughters age 2 and 4 respectively. It was raining when we went to "drop" them off since parents are not allowed inside. When they asked for my little daughter by name they grabbed her from my husbands arms without any sort of introduction or acknowledgement. Of course she was screaming after some strange man took her from her father. When we have her a few min to settle down but realized she was still scared we pulled her of the class immediately. No apology from the owner, only I've been doing this 25 years and she'll be fine. That it's NOT how you treat a 2 year old child on her first class. Finding another swim school! They don't allow parents inside because a couple of years ago a parent jumped into the pool to "save" his child or something. They tell parents to download and app and sit in their cars or on the benches outside to watch a video camera of the pool. My child was crying the whole time with separation anxiety. They hold classes in a tiny, claustrophobic, and extremely deep dive training pool. This is not a standard swimming pool, it's a dive pool with a narrow deck. It loud and crowded. The whole experience was totally bizarre. I would never recommend this to anyone. read more

We started coming to PowerPacked in June and have loved it! My 3 boys have exceled in their swim capabilities..seeing my 6 year old be able to swim with confidence without a life vest over the summer was priceless! I love how after every class the coach tells you what they worked on, what they did good and what they should work on at home. Such a positive difference compared to other places they have taken lessons. Coach Miy, Coach Lisa and Coach Trey all make the boys feel welcome when they arrive and are always so positive. We have only had 4 lessons and already I am seeing so much improvement in my 5 year old boy for whom, despite multiple approaches and attempts at lessons, swimming has not yet "clicked." Nathan helped our son completely overcome his fear of getting his face and ears wet and he is able to float on his back without freaking out. We went to a birthday party today where there was a water slide. Our son used to go down these like a snail because he was afraid of getting his face wet or water going up his nose. Today, he was first in line, he went down so quickly and put his head under the water so many times. The joy on his face when playing in the water with friends was priceless and I know this is just the beginning. I've signed up for 4 weeks of private lessons and I will update to let you know how it progresses. I am so impressed and so thankful we found coach Nathan! I plan to continue lessons throughout the summer and hopefully all year! read more
