However, the internal culture didn't feel as healthy. The leadership structure is quite hierarchical, and at times there were dynamics that reminded me more of a social hierarchy than a supportive community. Some aspects felt a bit insular, with group behaviors that could come across as exclusive or "cult-like." If you thrive in a tightly structured environment, you might enjoy it. But for those looking for a more open, collaborative, or emotionally balanced atmosphere, it may not be the right fit. I ultimately decided to leave because the interpersonal environment became more stressful than energizing. I share this not to be negative but to help others make an informed choice. The workouts are strong--but the culture may not suit everyone.

There are other studios in Easton that offer great instructors and facilities for considerably less. Drop-ins in cosmopolitan Austin, Texas, where I lived and worked at yoga studios for years are, on average, about $14. In Tucson, where I now reside, there are great studios that offer drop-ins for a mere $6. I just don't like the greed that has, sadly, infiltrated the yoga culture as of late.

It was totally worth the drive in from St Michaels. We have been to the area three times on vacation and have struggled to find a yoga home locally. I'm excited to try Blue Mat again. The space is nuts--definitely the fanciest and most beautiful studio I have ever visited. I do agree with the previous reviewer that a $20 drop in price is high, but I will point out in their defense that it is a luxurious space with a changing room, free Fiji water, and a custom setup for each practitioner with a Manduka mat, strap, and blocks.

I found GoatToBeZen on Groupon so the price was right. We brought our own mats, but they did have a few available for those that didn't bring them. They did warn us that the goats are animals so we should put anything we didn't want them exploring/eating/pooping on outside the fenced area. I don't do yoga, I only went for the goats. I did do yoga when there were no goats by me, but if they were in arms reach they were mine. The goats wandered around inside the fenced area during the whole class. We had plenty of time after class for snuggles and pictures. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that loves animals!

I attended a goat yoga session on September 1, 2018 at Perigeaux Winery in Calvert County, Maryland, and was concerned and dismayed by the lack of animal sanitation displayed during the 45-minute class. Twenty people attended the class, which cost $30 per person. Goats urinated and defecated on yoga mats, while we practiced yoga. They chewed on clothing. It was not announced during the class that sanitation spray or wipes would be provided in the event of a "goat-soiling" incident. Attendees were neither offered the opportunity nor encouraged to wash their hands after the class. Waivers were not provided listing the potential warnings and dangers of participating in an activity that could expose people to potential diseases. This was not what I expected.

We enjoyed our meal and the wait staff treated us very well. The food was good and plated very nicely. Not a meal that blew me away necessarily but it was all very cooked and seasoned well. There was live music happening in the back room, with some green and blue lighting which was a bit odd for the rest of the vibe of the restaurant. They were mixing high end dining with dive bar energy. Loved that they had live music but it was the song selection and lighting that just threw me off a bit. If we ever come back I think I'd want to be outside on the patio for a drink, an appetizer and the ambiance but wouldn't necessarily need to pay the high cost for the meal.
