Burris sent out Jason and Nick (forgive me if those names are incorrect!) within ~4 hours of me leaving a before-hours voicemail. The pipe broke at 8:30 AM, I called at 8:45 AM and left a message, and it was all fixed by about 1 PM. They worked fast but also took time to answer questions and explain what failed and why, and why they were going to use different metals for the replacement parts to prevent this from happening again. Now, I could end the review there, but I need to give an extra thank you to Jason. He noticed that our hot water heater air valve was corroded and leaking. He had a spare on hand and replaced it, and showed us where it is and when to check it periodically to prevent future failure. Thank you!!!

They left me hanging for 2 months, I left messages and even talked to the receptionist, so I gave up. I'm still in awe that they didn't just tell me they don't want the job, it definitely lowered my trust in people. I have read a few reviews that describe the same experience I had with them. They are a hit or miss and not the nice people I thought they were.

They may have gotten good reviews from those who only need a specific item or items taken, but beware of hiring them for anything else. We hired Lambert & Sons last summer to redo a shared driveway with our neighbor, spending five…read morefigures on the project. Unfortunately, the quality of the work has been extremely disappointing. Early this Spring, less than a year after completion, the entire section at the end of the driveway completely washed away into the roadside ditch. While I appreciate that they were prompt in returning to address the washout, the repair matched the quality of the original job: They failed to place sufficient riprap along the end of the driveway around the sides and drainage pipe as they had done originally, and streams are already beginning to wash the driveway away again just months after the fix. I raised this to Rick, explaining that the overall grading was poor/non-existent. Fresh gravel was spread unevenly, and proper build-up and critical drainage issues were completely ignored. Just one year later, the potholes he filled have completely returned and are as bad as they were before the project. His immediate response was to blame bad weather and heavy traffic. The work simply has not held up and they have not stood by their work. I would not recommend Lambert & Sons for driveway installation or drainage management.
