Dishonest "quote" process. They don't tell you how much the entire job will actually cost UNTIL…read moreTHEY BILL YOUR CREDIT CARD (that way, you can't simply dispute and not pay the bill). They quote you for "one man hour" (which is of no value) but don't give you ANY indication as to how many hours the job will take -- and therefore, no idea as to how much they will charge you -- until the job is done and your credit card is charged. Simply a HORRIBLE and extremely unclear way to do business. The total job cost me $266, to clean ONE floor of my house. IF I had known it would cost that much, I never would have hired this company. But I did NOT know it would cost that much until they charged my credit card. When I complained to the Better Business Bureau, the owner's daughter posted a nasty note on the FB page of my wife's employer. Seriously. The most pathetic and unprofessional thing I have ever seen a company do in response to a legitimate complaint. Stay away from this horrible company. Of note, I have since hired The Cleaning Authority. Their quote process is transparent (unlike House Calls), the cleaning job was just as good, and it was HALF the price.

Same experience as the customers below. This company has awful integrity and when approached with…read morea complaint, they berate and attack you. They have a very dishonest way of giving you a quote for cleaning, it was very unfair. It is by far the most shady cleaning company I have ever worked with in Cincinnati and I was even told by the owner that she would refund me for the miscommunication and dishonest quote, but never was refunded. The cleaning ladies that came did a terrible job at cleaning as well. There are plenty of other cleaning companies out there, BEWARE OF USING HOUSE CALLS LLC. I can't imagine the 100's of other people who have been scammed by this company who haven't posted on Yelp or other online review sites. They do not charge you till AFTER they are done cleaning. So you will have virtually zero idea of what you are going to be charged till they leave your house while they are taking their time doing a poor job of making it spic-an-span. It ended up being a horrible experience using them and had easily the worst experience talking to the owner/management. Like the other reviews explain, this is a completely dishonest company.

It was quick to contact Mr Handyman and set up a time for evaluation of the damage and get a written bid. There was an $80.00 fee for an in-depth inspection of the damage as well as specific calculations of the damage for them to adequately determine the total space needing repair. Setting an appointment was very quick and thorough evaluation done with written specifications as well as photos. Mr Handyman's prompt response to start in a few days and the time was excellent. The contractor, John Kumpff, explained in detail what he was going to doing over the among of time he expected to need to complete. He actually was able to repair all areas one day less than planned. The finished work is excellent and I am so relieved and happy with the results!!' I would not hesitate to contact Mt Handyman of Northrtn KY and Western Cincinnsti in the future.

I met an incredibly kind, gracious, and generous man today. I have Lou Gehrigs disease and I drive…read moremy van from my powerchair. For the times when I need someone else to drive me, there is a plug that connects to the back of the regular driver's seat that allows anyone to drive the van. This plug was bust with loose wires. A random google search of electricians brought up Leitner Electric where I left a message. The next day I got a call from Mr. Perry asking how he could help. His tone was very friendly and I was amazed at how he carefully listened to what I needed and said he was willing to try to help me (even though repairing a plug in a disabled van was not in his scope of work, I bet!). While waiting outside his office this morning I was reading about Leitner Electric and discovered that Mr. Perry is the CEO of the company! There was a heavy drizzle as I waited and a minute later this person comes out in a rain jacket, introduced himself and got right to work. He got things working almost immediately and to top it off, he re-taped all the wires and neatened up everything. After the job was done, he noticed that the air pressure in a tire was low. He went to his car and got a tire inflator and filled my tire. Then I could not believe it when he went around to the other tires and checked the air pressure in the remaining tires. They were all low. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. One of his employees came out toward the end while Mr. Perry was checking the air in my tires and he said that Mr. Perry was the best boss ever; hands on and leading by example. At the end of it all, we exchanged a hug and I was off! No mention of a charge (the van shop had quoted a 2-hour labor charge of $300 with no guarantee that they could get it to work). I felt Mr. Perry was almost thanking me for giving him a chance to help me! He likes to make people happy, he said. Check out the reviews on the Leitner website! The almost perfect reviews are reflective of the man and his work ethic. It's a no-brainer to choose Leitner and Mr. Perry for any electrical work - a master electrician and a large-hearted man. Thank you, Mr. Perry.
