I checked it out today and our experience from how we were treated at the door was unpleasant and we had to walk out almost right away. The man sitting at the front desk who handed me a paper to fill out greeted my son absolutely wrong. I could not even focus on filling out the paper because I could not believe what I was hearing. Karate is no excuse to speak to a child in a disgusting manner belittling him. He was mocking my son and had the attitude of "huh I can't hear you speak up" response. He told my son he would call him "cheesesteak" or some nonsense. He told my son "what are you here for fitness, swimming??. This was said to imply what exactly because I don't think you even offer that. You are advertising for karate and kickboxing. I asked the man is this how you greet the kids? He said they need to interact with the kids. Is that what you call interact? That was a negative interaction for the first time meeting the child and parent. That was bullying behavior. Behave with respect and professionalism! Not ethical at all because he actually thinks he's talking in the "right" way. He immediately crossed the line. This was just the greeting. I can only imagine getting more into the classes. I told him my son was feeling uncomfortable and he did not even care to apologize. He was only concerned about me giving him the paper I filled out. Why should I give him the paper after that negative interaction? My concern is tending to my son who is there humiliated and crying. Awful experience!

I don't use the scale for measuring my health so I'm not sure about weight change. The reason that keeps me coming is that the bag work (punching and kicking) is super fun and I can see the improvment in technique, speed, and power. The teachers & staff are suportive and give me the gentle push to help me improve further. This may not be for everyone but it's worth checking out. She is the worst of all don't waste your time. She is unpleasant and impolite. Not very unhelpful and extremely disrespectful. If only they made sure they accommodated you as they charge you. First, make sure they explain the payment situation so they don't make new rules as is beneficial for them. They have a pay-per-class or pay for four weeks in advance. Apparently, it doesn't work like that. My daughter signed up for 4 weeks of classes which were paid for in advance as they should or as the policy seems to be. At the end of her 4 week classes, my ex-husband couldn't go to Ninas to make a payment. We wanted to sign her up for another 4 weeks but my ex husband had a family emergency and couldn't make it to pay and there is no contract. He paid the following week and they charged last weeks class that wasnt paid for as if that was part of the package when I inquired because to my knowledge you paid for your classes in full. The receptionist was like no no no that class count. That class was never paid so why should it count? I even witness another parent having to deal with the same situation. New policies need to be made. One were the parents are sure of what they are getting themselves into with this establishment.

Next, it's important to know that they have a class schedule that is updated monthly. They offer both salsa and bachata classes and different levels for each one. They have 5 different levels of salsa classes and 2 different levels of bachata classes. So whatever your skill level currently is, you should be able to find a class that works for you! Also, you don't need to have a partner to attend! The class starts by teaching the basic steps as individuals. When it's time for partner work, they have us start with a partner but then we rotate partners throughout the room! That said, if you're wanting a class where you stick with the same partner the entire time, this ain't it. However, if you're looking for a fun time, this is DEFINITELY it! Our instructor, Felipe, has been doing a fantastic job of teaching us! He's got a fun personality, which makes the experience that much better. Oh! They also have social dance nights each month, which you can attend whether or you're not you're a current student for a set price. Anyways, I'm excited to keep learning and taking more classes here! The class was a mix of lightweight training and Pilates movements that worked every part of my body. I walked out of class feeling accomplished and ready to take on the day. Classes here are pricey, but worth the investment in my opinion if you're planning to come here on a regular basis. Writing an updated review after returning to Crunch from a 3 year hiatus. I stopped going in 2023…read moreand then had a life-altering car accident in 2024 and has been in rehab/ PT since. Finally got the ok from my doctor to return to the gym. Crunch Fitness offers a solid, well-equipped environment for hit-the-ground-running workouts, but your experience will depend heavily on the clock. The gym sees its peak rush hours during the typical post-work window from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, as well as early mornings before 8:00 AM. During these busy times, high-demand equipment like squat racks, cables and popular selectorized strength machines require a lot of waiting or sharing. Navigating the floor requires patience or a willingness to swap out exercises on the fly. Conversely, hitting the floor between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM is more of a breeze. No wait times for treadmills, ellipticals etc. During these mid-morning hours, the crowd thins out significantly. You can seamlessly flow through your routine with ease. Some machines still have wait time. When you sign up, you receive a complimentary "Crunch Kickoff" session, which provides a helpful baseline assessment and orientation. However, be prepared for the aftermath. Once the initial kickoff concludes, the personal trainers can become a bit pushy with their sales pitches. If you prefer to train solo, you will need to set a firm boundary to keep them from encroaching on your personal workout space. One trainer came over in the middle of my workout trying to have a whole conversation. I was just trying to finish my routine and he wasn't pleased that I said I needed to finish because I needed to get back home as I was working remotely. After that things were awkward. Another trainer was heard telling his colleague not to help me correct my form with a specific equipment if I wasn't paying for personal training. That's horrible. Beyond the weight floor, the facility includes a relaxation zone equipped with a hydromassage bed. This is an excellent perk for post-workout recovery, allowing you to soothe tight muscles after a heavy lifting session. Because the recovery zone can also get busy during peak hours, visiting during off-peak times ensures you can hop right onto the bed without waiting. There is a shower which is usually clean and stocked even though I am not using it in the summer as I live close by. If you have the flexibility to avoid peak hours, it is a highly efficient facility. While a 9:00 AM-11:00 AM window is ideal for an unbothered, open-floor workout, adjusting your schedule to a 5:30 AM early morning slot ahead of the evening rush is the best strategy to keep your routine consistent and machine wait-times manageable when your schedule tightens up. Overall, I think the experience could be enhanced. When I signed up, no one toured the space or reviewed the equipment with me. That to me should be routine so it gives the impression that unless you're signing up for personal training, they don't care about the experience you're having and don't care to set you up for success.
