Terrible overall experience. We ended up with nails all the way through the walls, coming in about 1/2 inch. They trampled all over the flowers and garden. They put plastic down for the initial pictures of the demolition then got rid of it. We are still finding Styrofoam and nails all over. When asked at the beginning for the most expensive it could possibly be, we were told an amount with him pointing at a part of the contract saying that we'd get money back for whatever product they didn't use, just to find out that it would be $8,000 more in furring strips that they don't usually use for their siding. The only money we got back was for the wood that they didn't end up needing for the furring strips, which oddly came out to be an even $5,000. Then when I asked about the rest of the supplies, they pointed to the same bit of the contract saying that it said the opposite. They had issues when scheduling and would show up when we were not there, inviting themselves to the backyard and asking our neighbors for an electrical outlet. There ended up being a lot of gaps which they said would be covered up by the gutters or were there to let the house breathe. They considered the job finished but they failed the city inspection. The overall end product looks gappy and unprofessional. It was way too expensive for what it is, and now we have to fix our interior walls and are still cleaning up all around our house. read more

Great quality work that was installed the next day. First 3 days with the attic insulation and our AC finally isn't running all day.

Had a guy come up to my doorstep while I was making dinner and he threw me his whole elevator speech. He didn't quite read the room that I was in the middle of something and pressured me to get a free estimate done. I mentioned I would be available tomorrow but then somehow he pressured me to a late evening in home estimate. I didn't want to be rude so I went along with it and ended up calling the number he gave me and cancelling 39 minutes later. It would have been nice if he wasn't so aggressive, assertive and pressing in getting my windows estimated (I do need to replace a couple of them). In the end I give them a one star because they didn't respect my privacy and I ended up burning my chicken cause I was at the door listening to him. Might give them a call in the summer, but I definitely will check in on other places between now and then. read more

First of all, I have a sign saying no soliciting. I have a list of things we do not need and windows is on the list. My husband opened the door. I could not get him to leave my porch. I kept telling him not interested. He kept up we had a problem window. It did turn out we do, but my husband can fix it. I finally shut the door in his face. Then he went next door and the neighbor knew there were problems and scheduled an estimate. 2 hours after he got there, still wouldn't give an estimate. And wouldn't leave the house. Had to get the son to throw him out. His shirt said Pella. Misrepresentation. I was going to call Pella to complain when I was told he was from Power Home Remodeling. Michel Bricen read more

We needed to update the insulation, windows, and fire door to our home we bought a year ago and we are so thankful that we found Power. Their products are of the highest quality and we have already noticed a difference in the temperature of our home from choosing their windows and attic insulation. The install teams were professional and polite working around us and were able to do the install even as my husband worked from home. We had recently updated a few windows with another company but Power was able to provide us the same quality while also providing us greater savings. Through the entire process their team was exceptional and their app ensures that you have your documents and information at your fingertips. read more

This is my second round of buying windows from Power. Their products are excellent (windows an a replacement of our sliding glass door). The installers, both times, have been polite and respectful of our home. I'm very happy with their service and product and know I will use them again when I replace the next round of windows from what the builders originally installed. Their product is just as good as what I used the first time when hail cracked a large window, and they cost half as much as that original company (rhymes with Sanderson). read more

We got all of our windows replaced through Power and had an awesome experience. They had amazing attention to detail and really cared for our old home during the install. You say our team reaches out when someone is looking for home improvements, I wasn't seeking any kind of home improvements. I was being relentlessly attacked by your robo call company, I tried to use the option that I was not the homeowner calls keep coming, I tried the opt out option calls keep coming 2 week around 7 calls a day all from spoofed numbers. So I went ahead and answered the questions and the robo company said I will be contacted on Monday to schedule an appointment, well Monday comes along and guess who call to schedule an appointment Power Home Remodeling, and after scheduling a fake appointment with Power Home the Robo calls have ended!! Congress past a bill making Robo calls illegal, I have documented all the Robo calls connecting to the company using Robo call center Power Home Remodeling, I'm putting in a call to my Congress person to share findings. read more

While purchasing our first home our realtor recommended this company specifically Pella windows. Flash forward, we did not buy a home that already had the windows but by happenstance a representative who was replacing a neighbor's windows offered to schedule a quote. Zach scheduled us with Matt who took us through extensive explanation on what was needed to set our home up with the best modern windows. Brian and Nick came out shortly after to finalize everything and Paige helped coordinate Alex's crew to show up a few weeks after. There was excellent communication and everyone was professional and pleasant. Thanks again! read more

Power has been a fantastic company to work with. I have had several projects done through them; windows, siding, attic, and they have all gone smoothly. BUYER BEWARE!!! This is for those that just had their windows done- Good luck getting any help in the future. It's been a few years since having all windows replaced in our home. After spending well over $30k, we expected them to look just fine. Boy were we wrong. The entire batch of installed windows have leaks in between the two pieces of glass. Things are growing, it's disgusting. But we have a warranty, right... we called today and they ADMITTED that they had an issue with the manufacturer and still want to charge us $180 per window to replace a product they know is defective. Save yourself the headache down the road and go with a company that stands by their work and product. read more

Today, solicitor came to our door. We have very clear communication posted on our door we do not accept solicitation. Despite the signs this company will ignore and bug you anyway. Thankful for the young man who stopped by to set up my appointment with Bailey. This company is by far the best company for remodeling. They did all the windows to my house at a very reasonable cost. I love my quality windows. The heat stays out. Power has done insulation in my attics and siding on my house, and I highly recommend this company. I can't say enough about the workers, from marketing to quotes to pre-install inspection to doing the actual work. While the insulation project was a breeze, there was a little communication glitch with the siding project, but once I was able to secure a direct line to someone with my questions and concerns, everything went as planned, and I couldn't be happier with the results. read more

We recently had windows installed by this company and I couldn't be happier. The representative, Angelo, who came to our house was extremely informative. He showed us everything about his product without being too pushy or overstating his welcome. The prices were fair so we decided to pull the trigger. The second visit was by Austin who came to measure and verify everything before installation. He was considerate of our house, knowledgable, and very friendly. Next came install day. The crew that came out was a cut above the rest. Over my years I've had many home improvement projects done and never have I seen a crew that was as good or a craftsmen while being so polite, considerate, and clean. My wife is OCD about cleaning and she couldn't find a mess left by them when they were done. The product is self is amazing. But I don't want to spoil the surprise, you really should just give them a call!! read more

We got door knocked by 2 gents who were professional, personable and great listeners. They noticed the issues with the windows in our home and shared their knowledge with us. We scheduled the estimate appointment and it was AWESOME. Seems like a funny thing to say about an estimate, but the demo for more energy efficient windows was educational and super interesting. Since January 2024 we have replaced all our windows, sliding glass doors and then our front door - the noise is reduced significantly (I can sleep through the night now) AND we just got our energy bill showing that our bills have been reduced by 40% compared to last year at this time. Keep in mind it has been consistently hotter this summer (just had 3 days in a row of 100 temps), and I didn't even turn the AC for 2 days. Our home stayed at 74. Totally worth it! Also, on the customer service side of things - everyone was professional and courteous, communicative and helpful. We live in an HOA community and Power took care of all the permits, insurance and town inspection appointments. Could not have made this an easier project. Thank you for what you do and for improving the quality of our home (and lives). read more

Where to start, we started out with doing the windows, then we like them so much, and the warranty is super easy. Then we had our attic insulation done. I really wanted to like the work these guys did for us... but after the installation I found a bunch of spots I had to come back to and nail down. Then, I noticed a leak in one of the down spouts in the gutters they installed and was completely unsuccessful at getting someone on the phone. Call 6-7 times and never got anyone on the phone. Waited an hour on the line each time I called. What good is a lifetime warranty if you can't get a hold of anyone when you need something??? read more

Well, where do i begin. What started as a good (not great) experience is turning into a really bad reoccurring dream. The sales rep, Evan, was scheduled to visit my home in the afternoon for a quote on replacing entry doors, ended up taking the entire afternoon and well into my evening. Pushy? Maybe. We are talking sales reps here who have goals for that vacation to Mexico. Anyway, I did get a better quote than other replacement companies so I agreed to the offer. What I ordered I didn't get and what i asked for i was told couldn't be done. My doors are one color, i asked for two (original doors were white in the inside, colored in the outside). Found out Power COULD do this as shown from previous customers but couldn't with me? I also ordered a double locking door set and peep hole but only got one functioning deadbolt. On install day, the team was courteous but then communication barriers arose. A few items were damaged (but still installed), and one transcend window was measured incorrectly. Enter the "QA Specialist". When Brian showed up, he ended up taking my afternoon as well. I pointed out the issues, and he said he would take care of it...then proceeded to pitch insulation. For real. On top of that, I felt forced to write my review then and there while i was trying to work my own job. I didn't hear from him again as promised so i called "the office" and asked why my order was incorrect and found out Brian never ordered replacement of damaged product. I proceeded with that order myself, pointed out the promises unkept and was told i would get a callback that day. Well, guess what? No call back. So now that it is two weeks after (second install date set for end of October) I have to get my house back in order. 18 windows later, I'm finding more damage that i have to repair. They "don't do drywall, molding, or floors" but will rip it up without regard to end results. So I'm replacing damaged molding and floor registers, spackling, painting, putting up new hardware for my blinds.... you name it. The windows and doors are nice but not exactly what i asked for. It is much better than the "builders basics" of before but i am still unhappy with the end result (and that I was told one thing and got something else). I have no idea why things went south (I feel like the black cloud just hovers over me) but for a company doing business for 30 years, one would expect a better experience in customer care and communication. read more

Please don't waste your money on Power Windows. I replaced most of my windows a few years ago with this company. Window is defective with a powdery looking substance between panes. Power Home Remodeling installed a new front door for me, and the whole experience, from choosing the combination of style features through the installation, was very good.
