The first time, they showed up fairly promptly, and worked for quite some time in the middle of a blizzard. During the time, our area was experiencing heavy flooding, so getting here in the first place was an adventure. They stayed and worked until the lines were clear, and even came inside to check to make sure there were no additional issues. I called again today and it is blazing hot, and although it was a different team who came to our home, the work was similarly thorough and they, again, stayed until the job was done and our toilets and sinks in the house weren't showing them anything else to fix. I'm not sure why there are not many good reviews for this company, but we have had no complaints. My landlord also reported that their rates were fair and reasonable.

Sadly we are the small job, of which the cost has doubled and was told he had higher paying jobs he doesn't want to stop to deal with a low pain sewer job. Ours is a quick clearing of a short line, of which my husband removes the toilet to save Todd the strain on his back. In response to Todd's comment, it is he that is rude. You have done work for us for years and suddenly your customer service has evaporated.

I originally called Jason out because I thought my septic tank needed to be pumped. He drove all the way out to my property, took the time to look everything over, and then gave me an answer that honestly says a lot about the kind of person he is, "Save your money--you don't need to pump the tank." Instead of taking my money for a service I didn't need, Jason identified that the actual problem was roots clogging the intake to the tank. He could have easily pumped the tank, collected the money, and sent me on my way, but he chose to be completely honest and upfront with me. That kind of honesty, integrity, and professionalism is hard to find these days. Jason put doing the right thing ahead of making a quick dollar, and that speaks volumes about both him and Tom's Septic. If you need septic work done, I would highly recommend Tom's Septic. Having someone show up, diagnose the real problem, and tell you when you don't need to spend money is exactly the kind of business I want to support.
