After multiple days of a no show for the first visit, they finally came but didn't have enough Freon to even adequately finish that task. Was told they would come back in a couple days to finish the Freon refill and replace the part. No one has come back in over 3 weeks. Multiple "no shows" with no notification. Terrible communication. Rarely answer their phone and voicemail isn't set up. I repeat: Run to another company. If your warranty company chooses them for you, request a different contractor.

Tech said someone would contact me the next day to set up an appointment to install a contactor. Tuesday came and went, left two voicemails, no call back. Wednesday morning and early afternoon came and went, left two voicemails, again, no call back. Called the home warranty company, who also tried to contact them, no answer. Ended up canceling the work order and found a company that could come out same day and fix our AC! The techs that came to the house were polite, but some chemical stuff was left at my house accidentally that made me feel a little concerned beings I have a young child as well as dogs, but the tech was kind when he called and worked it out to pick it up right away. The communication for 99% of the experience was absolutely terrible and super frustrating. I even left voicemails that said "I have family in town, just let me know when you think you can come out so we can plan their visit and tours around it". Still no call backs with any updates or even confirmation they ordered parts. I would not recommend this company. There are far better companies (the one that I found to come out same day and fix this is even also authorized by my home warranty and was so much better with the communication and safety!) Lee, the owner, was very professional and responsive, quickly assessing our problem finding the cause of our issue. During the repair, both Lee and Matt, through their extensive experience, noticed something seemed off with a particular noise that was emitting from the unit and upon disconnecting the line at our evaporator, located a drive bit socket that was left inside near the 90. Lee and Matt finalized the repair and my HVAC is working exceptionally well. Needless to say, I highly recommend Rias Air. They're a small company but that enables Lee to provide the quality service and attention that is so very much needed in this profession. He was at my home by 8:30 AM. We have a lot of dogs which he wasn't scared of. He checked the system outside and knew immediately what was wrong. Then he checked the system in the attic. He explained what was going on as well as the solution. He did not make it feel like he was rushing through anything. The inspection was free and we will definitely have him come back to replace the Unit.

Although the staff are all friendly and responsive, we have had continual problems with our gas…read morefurnace every winter when the temperature drops below 30. The first year, nothing was done since the furnace began to work when the temperature increased. The 2nd year, they said the thermostat was bad and replaced it, charging us for the labor to replace it. I paid this invoice believing the problem was solved. The 3rd year, the technician said that the exhaust ductwork was sloped toward the furnace causing the condensation to back up and shut down the furnace. I was invoiced a significant amount but I declined to pay since it was an installation mistake that should have been corrected earlier. After 4 years of trying to correct the problem, they are now refusing to correct the (continuing) problem and we were again without heat in the morning. I did an internet search to see if anybody else had this problem and found it was a common problem with gas furnaces installed in an attic. All that was required was to insulate the condensate drain outside. I purchased a $4 piece of insulation and installed it myself. We have had no problem since. Seems like a "professional" HVAC company should have known this type of problem and not corrected it earlier. It's sad that a company does not take pride in providing a professional quality service.
