So many adorable animals on the ranch a favorite was "Romeo" the white Turkey who followed us on our walks. The room and Solid Log CabinLodge were stunning and very clean. The BEST B&B experience! Everyone at Powder Creek Ranch was just so lovely and treated us like family the moment we stepped out of our car. Henry the cat greeted us in the driveway then Brenda and Dennis, the humans welcomed us, followed by Lily the gentle giant. The property is beautiful and full of animal friends, including a dozen wild deer who come to visit every morning. We fed them grapes one morning and it was definitely a highlight for all of us. Brenda made us two incredible breakfasts that left us pleasantly stuffed and prepared for a day of exploring the Oregon Coast. Although, the property is such an oasis you may not want to leave.......ever! Thank you Brenda, Hillary, Dennis, Lily, Henry, and all for a memorable and relaxing vacation at Power Creek Ranch! We will be back! read more

I don't write many reviews but I just had to share this well kept secret hideaway! Powder Creek Ranch is a rare jewel. Run by the loveliest people you'd ever want to meet. It's a modern log cabin home filled with old world charm and modern conveniences. It is very clean and has heavenly beds! This is a working farm so you can feed the chickens, hogs, horses, cows and ducks. We picked wild blackberries and took sunset walks thru their 300+ acre property. The food was simply amazing, home-style meals with fabulous conversation and warm company. We will be back again because I already miss their generous spirit and the deep peace we felt as they shared their little slice of Northeast Paradise with us! read more

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Warm, comfy welcoming atmosphere. Brenda is a doll and a fantastic cook! Take advantage of her $15 dinner it is amazing. They welcome pets. We brought our very large dog with us only to find Brenda has a very large dog of her own. Her daughter Hillary has a smaller terrier mix that kept Colin, our dog, very entertained. We will definitely be back! read more

Such great food! Each meal is nirvana! Gorgeous scenery. wonderful farm sounds, chickens, goats, horses, pigs. Great walking trails. Every surface inside the house is gleaming clean. Everything a guest could possibly want in each guest suite. Brenda truly anticipates all needs and wants. It's already totally reasonably priced, but for no extra charge, my friend and I were privileged to watch sow Mama Ruby deliver piglets, and help them latch onto mama's nipples. We also got to bottle-feed calves, and let them suck on our fingers, for no extra charge again. The porch is a great reading area, feeding the deer each morning is really fun. Brenda, Dennis, Hilary make guest feel more welcome than family! Excellent conversations for each meal. Eating Brenda's cooking is always a huge treat! read more

Powder Creek Ranch is for nature lovers! Almost 370 private acres surrounded by forest service land and the Nestucca River. If you like to hike, bike, fish or just kick back and relax, we've got the place for you. Of course there's much more to occupy your time too. The "Ranch" is a short distance from a beautiful beach, a scenic drive to a lighthouse or Tillamook where you'll find Tillamook Cheese Factory, several museums and shopping. Meanwhile, back at the Ranch, the innkeepers, Bev, Brenda and Hillary will keep you entertained with stories and well fed with yummy satisfying breakfasts. We also offer dinner at the Ranch for those who enjoy great home style cooking. We are family oriented and welcome kids and pets. The deer are people friendly and we feed them breakfast everyday too, so we ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times when they're outdoors. Come visit us at Powder Creek Ranch. It's like your home away from home.
History
Established in 2010.
Powder Creek Ranch has been a part of our family since 1974. It was purchased from the original homestead family who had been here since 1884. We were fortunate to learn a lot of history from their family. The current owners Bev, Brenda and Hillary are three generations of ladies who love the Ranch. The new log home was finished in 2005 and was home to four generations until 2009 when we lost the matriarch, Grammie Bernie. Bev and Brenda have a background in the restaurant business and entreprenurial spirits. Our family has always shared the Ranch with family and friends and we felt that a bed and breakfast just fit into our lifestyle. Turns out we were right!
Meet the Business Owner: Brenda C.
Being the owner/operator of a bed and breakfast was a dream that began in 1988 when I visited New England. Having been raised in the restaurant business and really enjoying meeting different people, it was obvious to me that a bed and breakfast would be a perfect fit. It was many years before I was able to start my B&B and in 2010, started living the dream. Here at Powder Creek Ranch B&B, we strive to bring the best possible experience to our guests. Starting with farm to table meals prepared with our own eggs, bacon, sausage and ham grown on the Ranch. Luxurious accommodations in a warm, rustic atmosphere of a log home and a welcoming attitude of our family that turns strangers into friends.
