Clean, comfortable, and cozy room with a great location! Easy street parking. If you are staying on the 2 floor, there are some steps to go up to the room. We had two windows in our room and a huge bathtub, waterfall shower head. Would have given 5 stars if one of the 2 windows could open! We felt like we were in a fishbowl, and it would have been nice to have fresh air and to hear the ocean. I like to hear the ocean when I fall asleep when I am staying near it. Book here if you're visiting Oceanside because you cannot go wrong with the view. You're literally right in front of the ocean. The place was really cozy and they definitely made sure the theme matched the location (very coastal vibe). The room we book had a kitchen and the kitchen was fully equipped, so did not have to bring any of our own cookware/utensils/cups/plates etc. They also have a coffee Keurig machine with coffee pods, board games and beach towels that are located out by the lobby. They weren't joking when they said you won't have any phone signal/cellular internet out here. You have to be connected to their wifi. Also, parking is literally street parking, but we were always able to find a spot right next to our Inn. If you are wanting to find a quiet place to get away and remove yourself from the world (like literally cut off from internet/social media) come here! There is also a cafe right downstairs and across the street is a cute diner that serves food from breakfast, lunch to dinner. read more

First the "pros" - great location close to a beach. Rooms were cutely decorated and had additional touches like Google nest that you can access. Bed was ok, and there a rocking chair that made it more homey. Now the "cons"- we had the corner room for two ocean views. The site didn't mention that the ocean view included power lines and poles. Next, the rooms are on the third floor and there is limited parking near the entrance so be prepared to haul luggage up concrete steps to the door to the Inn then another flight up wooden steps to the room. Finally, it is in a more remote area so Internet was intermittent. I would stay here again- but now know of the drawbacks. read more

Mixed Bag. The Good: The room was very nice and updated. My only complaint is if you are staying for a longer time, they don't have a closet but about 10 hooks you can hang your clothes on. They do have drawers to put clothing in. The Not so Good: The bed cover was not very warm so I called to ask for another blanket at around 9:30PM when we had come back to the room. The told us to go next door to the owner's room and knock. My husband went there and knocked 3 times and noone answered so no extra blanket. When I attempted to turn on the heat, it was cold instead of hot. I tried this multiple times. It just so happened that they were painting the outside during our time there which was never mentioned to us before we came so at 9AM they knocked on our door and was told we needed to move our car. At that time, I asked the owner who was outside if we could park there later that day and he said yes. He asked me if I got the blanket which obviously there was a communication issue netween the owner and the number that I called for help who told me to contact the owner which I never got. The next day, someone knocked on our door at 9AM and asked us to move the car again. The owner should have told us not to park there again. That was very disappointing. The housekeeper who was very nice and one of the painters fortunately helped us move our luggage to the car. The view is pretty but there are some power lines which are part of the view in the room we stayed in that make it not that great. The price was good compared to other places to stay in the area. read more

A beautiful cozy inn with an amazing view of the ocean. We stayed on the top floor which has vaulted ceiling's. A nice bathroom with a full deep tub. Comfortable bed, hardwood floors, mini fridge and microwave. They have a quint coffee shop with delicious coffee options. Just across the street is a nice cafe for late lunch or dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and highly recommended it. read more

Although this place was slightly out of our budget, we decided to stay here for the night due to the amazing views I saw of pics from previous reviews. The place was perfect for our family of 4. It was a bedroom with 2 double beds or at least it seemed like doubles and a tv then another room with a couch and kitchen table with a great view of the beach. I wish we spent longer since the weather was beautiful! The beds were comfy and they include a complimentary breakfast basket with 2 yogurts, 2 ojs, 2 granola bars, and prepackaged coffee filters. Our stay was great and definitely relaxing. I wish I took advantage of he jetted tub. The only thing is that I wish they include the ability to buy laundry detergent to do some laundry during our stay. Definitely would stay here again! read more

This place is a dump. The love seat was stained and dirty as was the bedding for same and the beach towels. The bath products were gross and the drain doesn't work for the shower so you are standing in water for the duration of your shower. The microwave was dirty. Recommend staying in Newport at the Inn at Nye Beach for the same price and a fabulous hotel. read more

Excellent, spectacular and I mean the most extraordinary view I've ever had at a hotel after 10 years of travel to the Oregon Coast. I mean some compete but the way the waves and light spill across the bay windows will put you instantly in beach mode. You know the one, calm smile, zero rush, everyone is a friend kinda vibe. We have stayed here twice already in room 1. Quiet both times despite being on the Main street. Dog friendly, walk just a few minutes from the beach, on the beach in my opinion. Five stars for my experience in room 5 (2 queen beds). One star for my return experience, but in room 6. So overall, 2.5 stars. Room 5 was clean and the view of the water was spectacular. We stayed for a day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Room 6, due to the attendants not being on site and the no phone service, I couldn't really get a hold of anyone to provide immediate support. The floor was dirty, full of pebbles and debris from outside. The sofa bed's sheet was soiled and covered in debris by previous guests. Without any proper support, I just had to brush the sofa by hand and placed a comforter over the sofa bed to make it work for the night. With other things being missed by the cleaning staff, the coffee maker looked a bit suspicious and of course, the coffee filter wasn't anywhere to be found. The fix was to wait until the coffee shop to open downstairs at 8:00 and grab a cup there. The coffee shop below, the barista has always been great. Both occasions she provided outstanding service both with coffee and check-in process. Would I return for the third time? Yes, to town but not to this Inn. read more

My wife and I were very excited to take a trip to the Oregon coast and visit the Three Arch Inn. Unfortunately my wife started experiencing COVID symptoms and we had to cancel our trip. There is nobody who ever answers the phone at this inn so I left two messages asking they cancel our reservation. Come to find out they charged me for a nights stay totaling just under $200. I have called numerous times requesting a full refund and nobody has ever contacted me. I wish we could have visited another time however now we will NEVER go. Terrible customer service!!! read more

If you are looking for your holiday oceanside retreat to get away from it all... This is it. Spectacular view. A great comfortable bed. Nice bathrooms. Awesome new management that is extremely friendly, down to earth and all around great people. It is clean, modern, and steps away from the beach. The price is reasonable. Other ocean towns along the coast have the shops and junk to take your money. This town and inn is perfect. I will be coming back again and am already planning ways to bring back my friends for group retreats! read more

This place has some good things going for it: great view, Oceanside is a lovely quiet beach town, 2 minute walk to the beach, comfy giant king size beds with nice linens, and microwave/mini fridge in the room (at least in room 4). BUT, the lack of access to a "real live person" before and during the stay needs some work. I get that they are trying to handle things as automatedly as possible (online reservations, keyless entry to rooms requiring no check in/out, limited front desk hours) and I can understand that. I would expect that this keeps the price as low as they can offer. But, this system didn't worked so well for me. When I had a question about a room I was interested in reserving, I didn't receive an email back with an answer for 2 days. When I was supposed to be emailed my entry code 48 hours before the trip, at about 12 hours before the trip, I noticed I hadn't received it. After checking all of my email (including spam) for the past week, I called them to inquire about this and on the automated message, I was given about 4 different ways to leave a message, but no way to talk to a real person. Just to try every form of communication I emailed about this issue too. Luckily, within a half hour I got a voicemail back giving me the code, but with the statement "We already sent you the code" and then an email to follow up, but again, with the statement "We already sent you the code" as if this issue was on me, not them. That's just not how you do customer service. They also have changed some policies since last time I visited (check in time is now 2:30, not 2:00pm) but many of their paperwork/emails still says 2:00pm. This caused a problem when we showed up at about 2:15pm and our code didn't work to get in our room and the front desk isn't staffed at that time. Luckily, my husband was able to use the phone at Brewin in the Wind downstairs (cell service is spotty in Oceanside) and got a hold of someone. So, I'd like to try them out again but I hope they can take this feedback and make the changes necessary for more smooth transactions in the future. read more

I've been debating posting this review for a while because part of the experience here was good; the views from the room were great, and the place was generally clean. However, each time I go to wear this pair of pants I really love, I think about this place and their poor customer service. Let me explain: After checking in to the room, I went to refresh my makeup in the bathroom mirror, and when I was finished, I noticed that my black slacks had a thick white line across the hip area, and I realized it was from the counter being covered in bleach! Apparently it had been doused but hadn't been rinsed off or wiped down, so when I leaned against the counter to use the mirror for a few minutes, my black pants got bleached from the sink area. They're expensive work slacks, too. The worst part was that when it came time to check out, it was a holiday, so there was no one to speak to in person since it was all self-checkout that day, so I emailed customer service the next day to let them know what happened. I was super nice and complimentary, saying the room was otherwise great and wondering about a partial refund or something. That was several months ago, and I never heard anything back. At the very least, they could have responded with an apology, but I never heard anything from them. Now it's kind of funny, because whenever I go to wear my pants and see the big line of bleach, I think about the hotel and their crummy customer service. Needless to say, I won't be staying here again, and that could have been remedied by them with a simple response email acknowledging the error. Bummer. read more

This was my Christmas gift and it turned out to be the best gift ever....with the exception of my engagement! The room is sparkling clean and obviously well maintained. We stayed three days and it was quiet and peacefu. The bed was comfortable and huge!!!!! The massive swimming pool ...(jetted bathtub!) was one of the highlights of our trip! The day before arrival, we were emailed the door access code, as Three Arches is "self-service". The process was slick. The room (#1) has a spectacular ocean view, and is a short walk to the beach. Extra beach towels were available and are a considerate touch. Clean, plenty of hot water with good pressure. A cafe across the street for dinner, another a few doors down for breakfast... Microwave and fridge in room. But, sitting in the easy chairs, feet up, watching the ocean at sunset was the biggest plus for us. We'll be back. read more

After looking for an inexpensive place to stay that had a view of the ocean, I settled on Three arch Inn. I was pleasantly surprised by the little apartment that had a full kitchen, including a dishwasher. Little touches to make it feel inviting and comfortable. The view is AMAZING and how can you go wrong with a coffee shop on the main floor. If all the rooms were like ours, I would highly recommend. Loved our stay here. read more

We LOVE this place! Oceanside has become our favorite spot on the north Oregon coast. The Three Arch Inn is reasonably priced, clean, beautifully decorated and has wonderful OCEAN VIEWS! It's right across the street (not highway but little street) from the beach and also Roseanna's Cafe. There's an espresso cafe below the Three Arch Inn rooms. In addition to all this, they allow us to bring our dog and stay for only one night if that's all the time we have. We love the keyless entry. The host was excellent in communicating the code to us before we left and even allowing an early check-in which we greatly appreciated. We were here in February 2017 and also once in 2016. Both times the service and rooms were excellent. We plan to come back as often as possible. read more

My husband and I stayed in a suite. It was clean and had a complete kitchen, which was nice as there are only 2 places to eat in town. The beach was beautiful and the view from the both rooms was great. We had a kitchen/living area and a bedroom. Both had views, but it felt like people on sidewalk could look into you room, so we kept the screen drawn in the bedroom. There is a small flat screen TV in the bedroom, we would have preferred to have it in the living area. They use a keyless entry and do not maintain an attendant at the hotel. It worked great for us, however, if you had a problem, I am not sure what you would do. There is no cell phone reception in town. The biggest negative was the parking. The hotel site says that there is parking on the street both in front of and behind the hotel, and a small lot aside of the hotel. We assumed that there would be plenty of parking and that there would be spaces reserved for the hotel. This is not the case. When we arrived in town, late afternoon on a Sunday, we circled the town several times before finding a spot 2 blocks from the hotel on the street. It is a very small town and if the weather is good, there are a lot of people at the beach who take up all the parking spots. It was a frustrating way to start our mini vacation and put a damper on things. Although we ended up enjoying our stay, I would not stay here again because of the parking situation. Entrance was difficult to find and not well identified. Code on door would not reset, we had to use a 10 digit code to enter room every time. Room was hot and windows did not open. Room was very small with no place to put luggage. In the morning, there was no hot water. Calls to report this were not answered and there was no response to email. What a great view!! We loved our room (#4) and we'll definitely stay here again when we want to go to the coast. I can see how the check in procedure (or lack there of) could be challenging but luckily for us there was someone around to show us the ropes as we had not received an email before our arrival with a door code for our room. Privacy? Don't expect it! Room #5 was a bit expensive for what we got. Great view = people seeing in your windows, and the hotel's front desk was right outside our bedroom door. The huge picture windows do not open, and there were no other windows on the east or north of the room that might have let in some fresh air or ocean sounds. Parking was a problem as well. The worst part about this this room was the para-sailing and hang-gliding activity coming off the cliff above and right past our windows! I know that the Three Arch Inn had nothing to do with the schedule of the thermals and the jumpers, but it did affect our decision to return or not. The electronic lock on the door was problematic, but the nice staff did help us out with that. Although the place was squeaky clean and had a nice jetted tub, after the first three hours in the room we decided we would probably not come back, simply because it felt like living in a fishbowl with no fresh air. Nice people, good view, not worth the price we paid, even in the off season. read more

We stayed in Feb 2013 and absolutely loved it! The view was amazing, the room was clean, the inn keepers were nice! Can't wait to go back!

We had the only non-pet-friendly room, as we have allergies. It was very clean, very comfortable, spacious, and had a great view of the beach and ocean! The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all, a great place to stay! My only regret is that the windows did not open (there was A/C and heat, controllable from the room). The wondows not opening, combined with some sort of machinery that made a slight "hum," meant we really didn't hear the ocean much from our room. Would've liked to sleep hearing the waves.... If you don't get the email from them with the entry instructions by 48 hours before you are due there, I suggest calling them. We didn't get a confirmation email, nor did we get the instruction email, until we called to ask for those. The messages weren't in our inbox or in our spam folder, and the staff seemed to feel that they had sent the messages, so i am not sure what happened. But the messages did appear within a few minutes of telephoning the inn, so there was no problem. And I loved having a code to enter the room. great not to have to carry a key! read more

This was a lovely place to stay and a great value. The room was modern and clean, unlike many small oceanside motels. We couldn't connect to the wifi when we first checked in, but Bill happened to be in the hall and reset the router for us. Being given a code by email was great, but I was a little concerned that I never received a return phone call when I left a message before our stay. I wanted to ask about the room we were booked for as I saw a review saying the jetted tub didn't work in it a couple months before. Sadly, this still had not been repaired when we arrived and I'd looked forward to it, but it wasn't a big deal to me. Overall, my first stay in Oceanside was a perfect choice and a beautiful end of summer trip. The view from the room was awesome, the beach was right across the street and I would stay here again. I much prefer this town over the ones that the 101 goes straight through. No traffic or junky touristy shops and a nice uncrowded beach. read more
