Another gem located on the beautifully tranquil Oregon Coast, with stunning views of the ocean and forest. Perfect for a getaway, nestled between Cape Kiwanda and Cape Lookout, in the hills of a 58 acre property with a historic quarry and waterfall. The property features Domes and Cabins and a community fire pit complete with everything you need to make s'mores. The Domes have shared bath houses while the cabins have private attached bathrooms, so we opted to stay in a cabin for both convenience and privacy. The cabins are thoughtfully situated on the property to maximize views, but up a steep gravel road, so having 4-wheel drive is a plus! The cabins are mirrored which helps to reflect the surrounding landscape and ocean views during the day, but at night if you leave your shades up, you'll be on full display. The property and its accommodations are new and I appreciate many of the thoughtful details such as the furnishings, kitchenette with a tea kettle, fridge and sink, welcome chocolates, Steeped Coffee, private decks with fire pits and the interior lighting and automatic shades. The bathroom setup is nice but lacking some functionality without a mirror or conveniently located hooks for hanging toiletry bags and towels. (This is key for me, especially in tiny spaces, functionality is super important.) A portable mirror is provided but located in the kitchenette, along with the bath towels. It would be nice if these items were located in the bathroom. Food options are miles away in Pacific City, not walkable, so you definitely have to drive, which isn't a deal breaker just something to be aware of. The property is peaceful and quiet, except for the crows that woke us up at sunrise. They kept flying into the bottom of the cabin, and it was loud and disruptive, but short lived on both mornings during our stay. Overall, we appreciate this unique experience to stay on the beautiful and peaceful Oregon coast and would happily return to see how the property continues to evolve over time. Thank you for a great stay!

Relatively new spot. Little difficult to find - cell service there is terrible. They have WiFi. Common bath house for about 5 pods where we stayed. Fire at night with snores or snores kit delivered to you. Beautiful view, mildly obstructed by trees.

What truly set this stay apart was the hospitality--from Jessica, who warmly greeted us and personally escorted us and oriented us to our cabin, to the GM who checked in and made sure we had his number if we needed anything, to the handwritten note waiting for us on arrival. Refreshingly genuine. Our mirrored cabin (and no--you truly cannot see inside unless the lights are on) delivered sweeping ocean views below, a private patio, and the perfect setup for lighting the fire table, pouring wine, and lingering over charcuterie. Inside: heated floors (including the bathroom), a cabin heater with remote, electronic blinds, fridge, coffee, sink, and a surprisingly genius bathroom layout where the shower shares space with the sink and toilet. No curtain. No door. No splash chaos. It worked beautifully. A powerful wind storm knocked out the power at night, but we stayed cozy warm in our cabin. Bonus: the rain and clouds cleared around 3 a.m., revealing a star-filled sky worthy of a Van Gogh painting. Mesmerizing. Did I mention the little window above the bed you can open for fresh air or to take in the stars whilst staying cozy under the covers? Just 5 minutes away down the road is the little town Pacific City. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at The Meridian (they just launched a new menu - the Cioppino was amazing, and the service on point with warm hospitality). Definitely bookmark this for a future stay. We will be back for sure!

Drop the needle…read more.. This place spins like a vintage '70s record and old school soul with a fresh new groove. From the outside, you get that classic hotel vibe, but step inside and it's been remastered into something effortlessly cool... warm, stylish, and just the right amount of hip. Now let's talk about the room, clean? No... immaculately pressed. Easily the cleanest hotel room we've ever stayed in. Everything felt dialed in, like every detail hit its note perfectly. Location? Right on track. Price? A total steal and it's like finding a rare vinyl in the bargain bin. Parking? Smooth and easy, no scratches on this record. And the staff... nothing but good vibes. Friendly, welcoming, the kind of people that make you want to stay on side B a little longer. We'll definitely be back again--this one's going into heavy rotation. The record player added a great touch. Grab a vinyl at check in and drop the needle !

The man staffing the office when I checked in on a Thursday night was really nice. Not in a forced way, nor did he seem like he was tired that he does this every day. He was truly kind, relaxed, helpful and informative. And there was a lot of information to give. The record library that you can borrow from is extensive, I barely scratched the surface (not of the records of course!). Having the update of a door code instead of keys was nice. The rooms were generous in size and had everything we needed - desk for piling my stuff on, TV, single serve coffee maker, two beds, bathroom, mini fridge and microwave. Couple notes that really don't count against the place but just to make one aware - the beds felt like maybe they weren't quite queen sized but almost full sized? I don't know, I couldn't figure it out but then again, I haven't slept in a queen in awhile. But they were comfortable. Also, where the coffee maker was, on the desk under the TV, there were no outlets. Two blank outlet covers under the desk and the outlet being taken up for the TV but no outlet for the coffee maker. I ended up putting it on a nightstand. Works fine, just a weird thing. I really loved the faux-vintage mini fridges and in some rooms, matching microwaves. Location of this hotel is great, you can walk to most things quite easily. No sidewalks, but that's ok. I would stay here again!

You are only a short walk from restaurants and the beach. It is not a fancy place, but the open balcony to sit outside and listen to the waves while smelling the fresh air is worth it. I really appreciated the kind gesture of putting a birthday card and local chocolates on the bed (it made me feel truly special, thank you!). The French Press and coffee grounds were such a nice touch! Bed and pillows were comfy. Sitting outside on the balcony to watch the waves was enjoyable. Down below our balcony are cozy fire pits with chairs. The chairs were occupied most of the time, so we didn't sit by the fire... but we had our dogs with us too. TV was good, just wish it was bigger. Room was clean. Breakfast was subpar. The area to serve yourself and eat felt crowded as well. The shower in our room had good water pressure but the shower drain was clogged which causes it to pool up anytime we used it. Sink was fine. Screen door had a hole near the handle. Rooms felt closer than I would like. Hallway to get to room felt narrow. I believe we had two different neighbors across the hall during our stay. The second set of guests (both adults and children) were not very considerate with noise, especially during the evening and early morning hours. Of course, this isn't something the Coho can always control, but it did impact the peaceful atmosphere at times. Overall though, the Coho itself was wonderful, and with a little more mindfulness from fellow guests, the experience could be perfect. This is a great option for coastal views. Prices are okay. I would come back here again.

The main issue is that there was an extremely loud, unceasing mechanical noise come from the ducts right outside our room (#72). When I asked reception about changing rooms, I was told that the hotel was completely booked and there was nothing they could do. This didn't leave us with any option but to stay the night. We got very little sleep, not just because of the unrelenting noise ALL NIGHT LONG, but because the mattress was oddly hard and lumpy. My partner who does not have back issues woke up in excruciating pain. Now, one of the nicest parts about this hotel is the oceanfront location. However, even that was ruined for us. Our room led directly out to a grassy area overlooking the sea. We walked out there at dusk to watch the sunset, only since the light was dim, we stepped into a pile of dog shi*t several feet away from the door. That really sums it up - what was supposed to be a brief romantic getaway to the coast turned into a hot, steaming turd. This was hands down the most hellacious hotel stay of my life. If you choose to stay here, good luck - I sincerely hope you have a better experience.

So waiting almost three quarters of an hour to get into our rental wasn't that bad. The grounds are awesome. Lots of cool plants. Chickens and Duck's running around. A couple awesome Dogs that are very friendly. Each T. H. is different but they all have BBQ'S. our bbq is a tad rusty inside but it look's usable. There used to be a Disc Gllf Course here but its been turned into an Event Space. I don't know when the change was made but I saw pics from 2018. The loft is a low ceiling and the bedroom is a little cramped but still pretty awesome for a T.H. The Bathroom is good sized. I was pleasantly surprised at it's size. I really like all the wood interior. Really charming. The Kitchen isn't huge but definitely Full Size. A 10 Gallon Hot Water Tank gives you about a 10 minute shower, so no lounging. Covid-19 is still among us so most of Oregon is still in lock-down. Most businesses are closed and there'll be No Fireworks this year but the weather is decent and were at the coast. Worth it! I needed this weekend. I just got laid off to join the 1 in 3 Americans who are unemployed currently. I'll take a siesta and get another J. O. B. So, for now, I'm going to enjoy this weekend with my family.
