There's a parking lot, bathrooms, picnic tables scattered throughout, a playground, a walking path, a basketball court, a baseball field... and if you look carefully you will find volleyball posts out there too. Bring your own net for that one! There's also barbecue stands around that are ready for your coals and grilling pleasure. If you look at a map on your phone while you're walking around there, you will notice that the walking path (large as it is) does not circumnavigate the park by a long shot. There's a significant bit of off-road trail hiking available here! It's lovely. Pro tip: it's super slippery and muddy in the hilly trails after it's been raining! Do not recommend. Would be lovely at all other times though. Dog-friendly, but keep your fur-babies on a 6-ft leash at all times. Doggy bags provided! Kid friendly. Family-friendly. RC airplane friendly (avoid the giant chain-link cage around the baseball field though, as I saw one guy figure out the hard way while I was there...)

It's very clean, open and has friendly families with young children. There's restrooms that are always kept clean and the park is well maintained. I was just there today and it's always active and Not too crowded. Perfect place to relax on a Sunday and let the kids release some energy before dinner and bedtime for the week ahead.

There are open grassy spaces for picnics with tables, and a couple play areas for young children to keep them busy while older kids (siblings?) are playing sports. Like has been said, if there's a lot going on, especially on a Saturday, parking can be tough. If the park is packed, there's parking just outside the park; one in a nearby small shopping center and the other on the street across from the entrance, both within a quick 5 minute walk from the park. As the weather warms, there are areas around the playing fields that have snakes. This past weekend (April 18, 2026) there was a non-venomous CA Kingsnake wrapped around a rattlesnake suffocating it and trying to swallow it at the same time. And this was happening under a bush about 12 feet away from where parents and kids were sitting along the walkway watching a Little League game. So, be aware of snakes! Yes, there are signs posted, but it still can be an issue so keep an eye out for them. More importantly tell your kids since many like to venture into those areas to retrieve a foul ball or explore. One annoying thing, at certain times of the day / year biting insects (no-see-ums/Biting Midges, aggressive Aedes Mosquitoes - aka "Ankle Biters", "Kissing" bugs, and chiggers) can be bothersome and their bites are unpleasant, so bring some bug repellant with DEET (just in case) if you don't want to get bit.

The split is about 75-25% in favor of neighborhood playing versus organized ball. The park is relatively new and it is very clean. The people who visit reflect the demographics of the neighborhood. The houses range in price from $800,000 to $2 million. The adults are mostly white collar. Many stay-at-home moms. All and all, very safe park. Good networking opportunities for small biz owners. :)
