We've been here in the winter after skiing and in the summer after a day on the water. It is perfect in both seasons! Tonight Mady G took excellent care of us. Save room for the posset. It is one of the most unique desserts I've ever tasted, in all the global travel of my career. This place has great atmosphere and a unique, diverse menu. Get a variety of items and share. You won't be disappointed.

    Happy hour oysters! $12

What a great, upscale find in downtown Petoskey! I used street parking on the street (be SURE to pay the meter; even with :30 left) in front of Tap 30 on the left, Pour Kitchen on the right. There was only one other couple in the restaurant that evening, but the decor and ambiance told me I should definitely stay. I found oysters on the half shell and discounted wine for happy hour, so I knew I was at the right place. After that I got the Farm Board and Duck Wings. Everything was excellent and flavorful! I went to City Grille the next night only to kick myself for not going back to Pour Kitchen. Will definitely be frequenting each time I'm back in town.

Cool vibe, lounge background music, extensive wine list and interesting menu led us to try " Pour " in downtown Petoskey. They offered wine flights which gave us an opportunity to try several wines. The Champagne was delicious and the servers were helpful in making wine selections. They had a limited variety of Bourbon, but had a few nice options for Bourbon drinkers. Surprised they didn't have Makers 46 or Knob Creek, two standard top chef Bourbons. I so wanted to love this new hotspot offering small plates with an asian flair. The service was excellent and I wish I could bottle it for takeaway! We started with the vegetable dish Veloute which sounded like a hearty vegetable dish, instead we got a dish of over-pureed root vegetables with a tablespoon of minced salmon. This dish was lackluster at best. Our second choice was the seafood maki, which was good, not great. Each bite was not full with seafood and ingredients, and a few pieces had hollow spots. Our third dish was the tasty vegetarian fried rice which was spicy and delicious! There are small touches such as serving metallic or other environmentally-friendly high-end chopsticks along with chopsticks rests rather than wooden chopsticks from takeout restaurants that would have been nice. In short, Pour is a fun spot to gather for drinks and apps; however, they need to bump it up a notch to be in-line with their prices and other higher-end restaurants. We would definitely return to Pour as a starter spot for the outstanding service, wine selection and apps!

    Wagyu Burger

Food was good (we had the Wagyu burgers). But services was poor. Our waiter was Aaron, and when I asked questions, he seemed annoyed and even snarky when answering. He also never gave us napkins or utensils, and didn't refill our water. We had to ask for these things before he got them for us. Maybe he was having a bad day, but my wife and I won't be returning there.

On this trip I had dinner at the bar. The bartender was great at giving recommendations and reviewing the specials. Not pictured in my review was the Detroit slider.... I ate it to fast- I was so hungry. The truffle potatoes had a rosemary flavor to them. The were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The poke nachos is what brought me back to here. The flavors are on point. This restaurant never disappoints when I am in town.

    Sushi and a great burger!

We were looking for a high end taste without a high end price and we found it. The sushi was tasty, brussel sprouts are a must and believe it or not the burger was a classic. We started with the drink special of "Clover Club" which will stay on my mind as a cross between a cosmopolitan and an edible pillow. Interiors are chic yet comfy with a contemporary spin. Servers are on our Christmas list. Come visit!

Upscale spot in Petoskey with great food and refreshing FRESH craft cocktails. Watermelon cucumber and strawberry rhubarb marg cocktail specials were perfect summer refreshers! I had to try the Duck Fat Sazerac a cocktail out of curiosity. It was smooth and added complexity of flavor without being too duck forward. A great drink but a little rich for a summer night.

Owned by the same company who owns Tap 30. This is for sure on the fancier side. Lots of cocktails to choose from and some are even on tap! I had the New Fashioned- it was delicious! My boyfriend got the smoked tequila cocktail and it was a beautiful presentation and really tasty. I saw you could also get a flight of wine which is a nice option. For dinner we started with the poke nachos- the ahi only the nachos was delicious. I had the pork fried rice which was delicious and a great serving. My boyfriend got the bison burger with the potatoes- make sure you say yes to the potatoes they were so delicious!

AUGH-MAZING experience! 1st time visit for husband and I's 8 yr anniversary. The manager had 2 glasses of rose' sent up for our Anniversary. They didn't rush us through our meal they let us order as needed. Highly recommend

Located close to downtown Petoskey, Palette Bistro offers views of the lake from their back porch, indoor seating, and a nice front patio. We were seated out front and greeted promptly by our friendly server. We started the meal with the crab cakes, and I decided on a farmer's pasta with salmon as my entree. In between we had fresh bread with a sweet balsamic and olive oil for dipping. Our server was fantastic. Appropriately attentive, and going the extra mile to help grab things for kiddo (like a coloring sheet and mug full of crayons), to make sure that everyone enjoyed the meal. The ambiance is relaxed and definitely a vacation vibe, and we enjoyed winding down our day that way. If you're in the area and need a place to grab dinner, Palette Bistro deserves a spot on your list!

We ate in the 'bar' section that had an excellent menu, tons of space, and a great server. It was easy to get refills, have additional drinks, and get the food in the timely manner.
