We took the in-laws here. Service was a tad slow but the food made up for the wait. My in-laws loved their MD crab soup. Tons of crabmeat and very fresh tasting they said. The crab cake sandwich was huge and excellent per my father in law. The fresh cut fries were perfect. Everyone enjoyed their meal which included oysters, wings and the nuts and berries salad with grilled chicken. A couple of tips though - put salt and pepper and sweetener on the table so patrons don't have to ask for it. Also, when serving an appetizer provide small plates. And when you make iced tea make sure the glass is full of ice because otherwise the ice melts right away. Tweak a few things and this place will be perfect. Good job over all though. Pour House was listed in 10 Best Burgers on Eastern Shore, and they did not disappoint. The El Machete was big, juicy and right amount of spiciness. We also had the flavorful Wild Mushroom Pizza. We finished with the Banana Chimichanga ... BAMM!!! Delicious!!! Christian was a very attentive helpful server and their tap craft beer was nice. 2017 Mother's Day breakfast. We've (2) had breakfast here before and have stopped by a few times for dinner. This was hands down our worse dining experience. There were only a few people seated at the tables but the hostess indicated they were expecting a couple of parties. So we sat at the bar. The bar area was not busy. The bartender, Danielle was not very attentive. We waited about 5 minutes before being given menus and asked about drinks. We ordered bottomless Bloody Mary's. A party of three sat next to us at the bar, acknowledged Danielle by name & were given their drinks within two minutes of sitting down. We ordered made to order eggs with jalapeño bacon & a veggie omelette with a side of bacon. The party of 3 ordered a few minutes after we ordered. The party of 3 got their food about 5 minutes before we did. My overlooked jalapeño bacon was regular bacon. The side of regular bacon wasn't delivered with our order. After a while one of the waitresses brought out a side order of jalapeño bacon. It was also overcooked. There did not appear to be a manager or anyone with any type of authority on the premises. Visited to have dinner and some drinks. The place was nice and clean; however, the staffing needs some help. Only one person was working the bar and restaurant for dinner and that doesn't work when you have lots of tables with families. Our table and the one next to us waited almost an hour for food with no explanation other than everything is hand made (good to know and we'd hope so). Food was mehh at best - bland, some barely warm, and not good enough for the price. Traveling between The Eastern Shore and Annapolis. I'm always looking for great places to stop for a meal. My husband and I were traveling from Annapolis to Ocean City Md. I looked on yelp and saw this spot so we stopped. It was, cute and quaint, and had a good choice of microbrews. I had wings and 1/2 pound of shrimp. The food was good. Down falls were, the bathroom is located through a waitress workstation, and No Paper towels and a pathetic hand dryer. They should put so me rolls of papertowels in the restrooms especially since it is flu season. Also, "their computers, were down" So checking out wasn't easy, and it was busy, so a long time waiting for refils and to pay. read more

Food is not bad once you get it, always takes forever. We are local in the neighborhood that staff is very cliquish, once you walk in if you are not a "regular" the attention and level of service you get is not the best and when you do ask for something it is like you are inconveniencing or putting them out. The other night I sat for 15 minutes waiting for services while the ladies behind the bar texting away and bullshitting with there friends. This attitude starts with the manager down, the all female staff does not have a good example to be led by. Took some friends there last evening (9/14/2019). There was no entertainment yet drink prices were higher than places that had entertainment. Ordered a Shrimp Roll Sandwich. It came with very good fries. The sandwich was awful, however. The shrimp were mushy and the dressing (Mayo) was very watery. Shrimp have to be pretty old to get mushy. I didn't eat the sandwich. I told the bartender that the Shrimp Roll Sandwich was awful and inedible. She answered that she never eats the shrimp salad because of that reason. She nor anyone else offered to rectify the situation. I think I can fix things by never going back. read more

Good atmosphere, good selection of craft beer, menu overall good, but the colossal crab cake is NOT, I repeat, NOT 100% crab, I found hunks of flakey fish, like haddock or sole? The Pour House is a great place to meet friends or family for delicious food. Located in the ground-level of an old house, the brick and wood pub is a cozy place to relax and enjoy a meal. Salads are huge so plan to share those. Burgers are freshly made and inspire an appetite with names of "The Baconater" and "The Sun-up." The pork shanks I had were tender and fall-off-the-bone succulent. Served with garlic mashed potatoes, I was pleasantly full and enjoyed watching Maryland play Michigan until we paid the check. The Pour House is a wonderful kind of place where locals gather to swap gossip over beers, while young couples with and without babies chow down. This was my second time here. Last time we had the brunch menu and it was delicious. This visit we brought some friends with us and told them how great it was. I thought i would try something new so i had the california burger (medium), my friends got each a salad and my husband got something off the brunch menu. We also got crab soup and two kinds of wings. Our drinks came out and not too long our apps came out. Then came the wait. 20 minutes went and then finally our entrees came. Nuts and berries with salmon salad came out and the spinach looked really old. The salmon was over cooked and dry. The other salad was a ceasar which was okay. My burger came out and the greens on it was old too. It was cooked well done instead of medium. My husband's food was pretty decent. Im sad to say i didnt finish my food and the nuts and berries salad was barely touched. The best part about our lunch was our bloody mary's. I think next time i will stick with apps, drinks and the brunch menu. read more

The food is very bland and the service is absolutely nothing to praise. I had several different food items, an appetizer, meal and dessert and was not satisfied with any of it. The food is not quality by any means and the prices are not worth it by a long stretch. Again I want to stress... the service is bad. It took forever to get drinks and refills (actually didn't get a refill I needed). And the waitress seemed annoyed to have customers. Waiter didn't understand the drink menu - Ale vs Pilsner, etc. Split wings as an appetizer and they were very small and not much too them (at $1 a wing it was hardly worth it). Very good food and reasonable prices Our server, Summer, was great. Specials were $18 and well worth every penny. My filet special was cooked just as I requested and the sides were very impressive. Maryland style crab soup had a twist to it. Traditional enough, but with a hint of difference. The stock was better than most MD crab soup I've ever had. I have been to the Pour House Pub on several different occasions. I have been for brunch, lunch, dinner and just to grab a few drinks. I used to live right down the street from it so in the summer the husband and I would walk there. Their Watermelon Crushes are AMAZING! After we left my wife said her food was very good and enjoyed it. We could not talk coherently in pub because the verbal noise was too loud for conversation. I had the crispy chicken sandwich that was overdone, I could only motion to the server that their was a problem but could not tell them what it was because of the high level of verbal noise.
