An average sized supermarket with a large carpark.The supermarket always has buy one get one free…read moreoffers, a good range of products, good quality and if your short on pennys one week their own brand products are very cheap.Inside there is a fresh chicken and deli area, the butcher will prepare you some meat if what you want is sold out and there is also a fresh pizza section where they will also make them to what you want if there is none left or you want something different. Morrisons always have loads of offers on and the only problem is that sometimes queues are pretty big. They also have some tills where you can only pay with cash which is quite annoying as when it is busy and you are looking for a till you can miss the sign.

I swear I've never seen so many staff get in so many people's way until you actually need help, then they vanish like pound coins in a pub fruit machine. I hate being a Negative Nelly, but the experience in here today was pretty damned awful, and easily the worst I've ever had in a Tesco. I went to try and buy school trousers for my son. I say try, as the ones I picked up wouldn't scan. The "helpful" member of staff told me they must have been put out by mistake and not in the system, so they wouldn't sell them to me, then told me in a snarky way "you can go and complain if you want". I didn't really see the point, to be honest. I paid for my other items and left, vowing never to return here again unless I absolutely have to do so.

When my family and I used to take our yearly trip to Blackpool, one of the highlights for my Mum was going to the massive B&M's in Cleavelys to rake through the aisles and aisles of stuff. We would always come away with things like tins of tuna and clothes pegs, or a doll that wets its nappy and a dart board. All the kind of stuff that you never go out to intentionally buy, but end up buying anyway because 'Look! I's only £4.99'. Imagine her excitement when the stores started creeping into towns in Scotland. She was in there with her trolley in a flash. Like mother like daughter, I also enjoy a good rake around in discount stores. B&M's is particularly good for kids toys. You get stuff in here that Argos is selling for £10-£15 dearer, so it's worth your while checking it out before you buy elsewhere. Good for 'stuff'. Go for a browse one afternoon, you never know what you might find!

I entered this store today with items for an exchange, i approached a member of staff who was…read moredirectly in front of me, i explained in a very friendly manner that my friend had bought me some items for my hen doo which is tomorrow, but none of the items fit me properly (a denim type dress and a small top), i explained i had no receipt however the items still had tags on etc.. and i wasn't looking for a refund but, if possible could i exchange for another item?. the member of staff basically looked me up and down and told me in a very short manner that * no we don't do that here*. however i have exchanged items in the past without proof of purchase but with tags on. as i've had a very hard day mentally i didn't want to argue and instead said it was fine, i would look for something else and just pay for it on my own without an exchange. i took my pram around a part of the clothing to look at some items, when i noticed this member of staff following me, she then approached another member of staff and began speaking about me, clearly she thought she was whispering, but she wasn't doing a very good job of it.. as someone who has worked in retail on and off for the last 16 years or so i found this to be ridiculous, and also incredibly embarrassing, i immediately walked out the shop trying not to cry because it made me feel so terrible, and emotionally i don't think i could have handled the confrontation. i ended up going to another clothing store where i purchased something for my day tomorrow. i hope that in writing this it might mean a look at customer service in this particular store. the girl was about 5'4 with long dark hair and glasses. i'm not sure if i will return to that particular store to shop because i don't want to be judged for no reason.

They also have some boots and slippers for sale at the moment. The Layout is not great its quite cramped and sometimes you can't get past the puschairs. Also in the store there were shoe racks, kettles, pots and pans so lots of various items with really good price tags. It is always busy but you never find yourself standing in the queue for too long.

Staff were knowledgeable and helpful giving us plenty of time to test out suites. Downstairs is the leather section where various leather suites of varying styles and leathers were on show. A couple of material suites were at the front of the lower floor, though the rest were upstairs. Prices were average for the type of suites we were looking at, and there were options of deals available. An initial deposit can reserve a suite for several days giving time for people to check with family members.

But I thought that they were selling a pile of absolute rubbish. The suites were really poor quality and all the styles were rather similar. The leather looked fake in a lot of cases, although I'm sure it wasn't but perhaps just worse quality. The prices were fairly cheap but not cheap enough that I'd accept the quality that was on offer.

This used to be Focus DIY before it lay empty for quite a while. It then became a hive of activity…read moreand there from the ashes of Focus arose a B&M Home Stores. Yay! Says me! Bargains-a-go-go! As Focus was huge I was expecting good things from B&M and I was not disappointed. There is plenty of groceries, beauty and cosmetics, baby stuff, toys, home furnishings, DIY and an outside section for garden products, which they've kept from Focus. The prices are mighty good and I thought that this year I would do a little bit of Christmas shopping here for a change. I noticed while I was in Asda that they sold some of the same products but B&M was much much cheaper. They have a good selection but I have to admit I did struggle for the men in my family, all the ladies and babies are sorted but I'll need to go elsewhere to sort out the menfolk presents. I've been popping in over the few months it's been open and I've always managed to get the bits and bobs I've needed. It's very handed as it's only minutes drive down the road from me. More and more of these B&M stores are popping up and I have to say they are rather good.
