Ever been in a shop where the staff a) outnumber the punters and b) seem to treat said punters as an afterthought? If you have, you'know exactly how this Tesco makes you feel. I swear I've never seen so many staff get in so many people's way until you actually need help, then they vanish like pound coins in a pub fruit machine. I hate being a Negative Nelly, but the experience in here today was pretty damned awful, and easily the worst I've ever had in a Tesco. I went to try and buy school trousers for my son. I say try, as the ones I picked up wouldn't scan. The "helpful" member of staff told me they must have been put out by mistake and not in the system, so they wouldn't sell them to me, then told me in a snarky way "you can go and complain if you want". I didn't really see the point, to be honest. I paid for my other items and left, vowing never to return here again unless I absolutely have to do so. read more

Staff dont care, customers are less important than what happened the night before and watch out for the mouldy packaging on the reduced to clear items! read more

I think this Tesco is a great shop. I always get what I am looking for and anytime I have been stuck I have had no problems with the staff, seem friendly enough. Another reason I like this shop is because its directly across the road from me which is very handy. read more
