I am generally a fan of all shops that sell random things. This is just one big house of randomness in Wishaw, with everything under one roof that you will buy, and then never ever use again.
When my family and I used to take our yearly trip to Blackpool, one of the highlights for my Mum was going to the massive B&M's in Cleavelys to rake through the aisles and aisles of stuff. We would always come away with things like tins of tuna and clothes pegs, or a doll that wets its nappy and a dart board. All the kind of stuff that you never go out to intentionally buy, but end up buying anyway because 'Look! I's only £4.99'.
Imagine her excitement when the stores started creeping into towns in Scotland. She was in there with her trolley in a flash. Like mother like daughter, I also enjoy a good rake around in discount stores.
B&M's is particularly good for kids toys. You get stuff in here that Argos is selling for £10-£15 dearer, so it's worth your while checking it out before you buy elsewhere.
Good for 'stuff'. Go for a browse one afternoon, you never know what you might find! read more
