I am surprised the previous review stated that the books and DVDs aren't good. I have picked up many good books in the Folkestone branch including two hard back Jaqueline Wilson books and a Big Cook Little Cook cookery book each still selling in book shops for around £8. The DVD's are mostly rubbish but there are a few bargains to be had if you look often enough, I have picked up Lady Vengance, Human Traffic a Test the Nation DVD game and a few other films.
This store is certainly difficult to get around though, especially with a pram. This is due to the hige amounts of stock (that goes with the nature of such a shop) but also the staff seem to leave boxes, stools and trolleys full of stock blocking every aisle as well as there being a large basket and a poster rack in the middle of one aisle making it almost impossible to push a pram down. It is worth a look at the baby bits, I have picked up long sleeved bibs in there as well as tommy tippie dummies that usually cost £3-£4. read more
