I have been bought up shopping at Marks and Spencer by my Mum. I have followed in her foot steps and always have a good look around. I really like the Canterbury store. Its well layed out, they have plenty of stock over the different departments, they sell a great range of childrens toys. I really like there kitchen items, there dinner services and glass wear are always great quality and good prices. The store its self has escalators on every floor as well as staircases which is brillaint as I cannot cope with long starcases. There is also a lift that reaches every floor, though it does have a bit of a mind of its own somethimes! The customer toilets are always clean and tidy, there are plenty of cubicles, a disabled toilet and a baby room which means there aren't usually a lot of peole waiting. They have two places to eat. We ate at the coffee shop on the top floor. I have to say the food was very good, we had toasted sandwiches, hot chocolate with cream and a slice of yummy chocolate cake but I felt the prices were quite high. Our lunch came to £18 which was a bit more than I had expected and I felt that for that amount I could have paid for us to have the pizza hut buffet and we would have had a lot more to eat. Nevermind though, it was all very nice! The staff were all very helpful, we needed a table cleared and it was done very quickly. All in all it was a very good, family orientated shop that accomodates all its customers well. read more
