Friendly staff, some going the extra mile.
Thought at first that it would be one of those expensive touristy shops, but there was something for everyone. Classic, good quality traditional British clothes, with a bit of history, that's warm in the winter. Gloves were surprisingly good value. Good for 40 somethings who like traditional style, with a contemporary feel.
Someone did give me a positive comments on the clothes I bought there. Some of these traditional clothes 'make a statement' against junk clothes bought at Primark. They also use fake fur.
Nice shortbread biscuits for customers to scoff at the counter. Again something that Primark doesn't offer. Good personal service. read more
