I try to give locations a chance because sometimes people just rage on reviews, but these reviews on Google and yelp are justified. I went to this location on Sunday. I walked into the store twice. Never greeted. There were four employees staring at the Halloween stilt walkers that came into their store. Gossiping about what they just witnessed. I looked at them a said loudly "I need help." I asked an older man if they had the red plaid tablecloth in stock. He said we have whatever is out. There are boxes in the back that haven't been unloaded. He didn't even check to see if he had what I was asking for in the back. He immediately dismissed me. I am not sure where Pottery Barn finds some of their employees, but customer service should be key. When I call Pottery Barns customer service phone number, all the employees are super nice. I am unsure why there are so many PB store employees that are this way. This location is beautiful. They have a massive store with lots of merchandise, but I would rather support Pottery Barns website, than a store with employees like that. read more

I ordered a wood coffee table online. It weighs over 80 lbs and had to be assembled. The carton was damaged and the table top was damaged. They want me to take it apart and find a carton and send it back. Impossible!!!! They said they would have a delivery service bring me a new table and they would take the damaged back. The new table arrived today by UPS , not their delivery company so the old table was not picked up. Now, the new table is also slightly damaged. They want me to box that one also and return it by UPS. Impossible! It is so heavy. These tables were expensive. Now they want to give me a 30% discount to keep the tables. Unacceptable! I will never order furniture from Pottery Barn again. We lost our home in hurricanes Helene and Milton. We have ordered a lot of other furniture with absolutely no problems. Please use Grandin Road, Frontgate, Macy's, Rooms to Go. Not Pottery Barn, West Elm or Williams Sonoma. read more

The Palm Beach Gardens location of pottery barn took $11,000 of my money for furniture on the promise of delivery within two months. Then they disappeared with my money for more than three months and delivered nothing. Then, more than a month after it should've been delivered, they dropped off a couple of items (about a quarter of the total delivery) and then sent an automated email announcing that it would be nearly a year before they deliver the rest. Pathetic. I can remember when pottery barn was a quality company with serious and respectable products. but those days are long gone. I made 27 separate phone calls to the store trying to get a response about this 27!!! Not a single person would help me in anyway. Decent location in terms of inventory and set up. I loved the holiday offerings throughout the store. They had a ton of Christmas decorations and the whole space looked so festive. I also liked the mirror wall with many ideas for different types of mirrors. Pottery Barn is known for their furnishings, outdoor accessories, rugs, lighting, home decor etc. Their website has a cool link to ideas and inspirations for your home space. The customer service was below average with no assistance or recommendations the entire time I was there. I ended up not buying anything since I had a few questions before my purchase but didn't want to wait in line for that. The employees on the sales floor were too busy to be bothered. Let's begin with PB code of conduct more directly for the internet than the actual location as they can only do so much. outlines ethical standards for all employees and suppliers, emphasizing principles like honesty, respect, and compliance with all laws, prohibiting discrimination, harassment, and requiring responsible practices in the supply chain, including fair labor standards and environmental considerations; essentially, everyone within the company is expected to act with integrity and adhere to high ethical standards in their business dealings Not the case! They don't care about the customer. What was promised via phone regards anything they say despite of recordings doesn't happen. My Carolina table and chairs was a disaster causing me to lose money twice due to rescheduling my clients to find out my order was delayed twice. PBK didn't care that I had to lie to my child twice about the delivery and it wasn't here for Xmas. I was told I would be compensated for the table and they turned around and the best she could offer was 20% I asked to please pull the recording and then they offered 25% Lol. Listen, I don't need the full order compensated, I needed transparency on my order that no one ever knew how to address from customer service to in store. On top it was delivered to the wrong location. They can keep their 25% I'll be returning the whole order and I'll happily incur the shipping and cost before I give them more of my money. I am a decorator and although I like a lot of products from Pottery Barn, they are one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. They don't know where their products are when you order them and you never get them unless they're absolutely in stock locally at the Delivery center we've been waiting for six months for a desk that never came so I had to cancel. I will never buy anything from them again. Buyer Beware and the management at the Palm Beach Gardens store is awful after four months of waiting for a desk. Folks, STAY AWAY AT ALL COST. I am a designer, and am part of their trade program. I placed an order in May for a custom banquette along with two matching chairs, for a kitchen corner. FABULOUS. UNIQUE. On the morning of, I got the dreaded call that the leg was broken on the banquette . A new piece must be ordered and manufactured. Now December. Forget my photo shoot the end of October. Forget the fact that this is now eight months for a simple banquette. I left three messages for the manager of this store as I needed assistance. I have a case number now with business to business customer service, to no avail. I was informed that aside from the discount, the trade is viewed just like a customer off the street. Because this is a specialty piece that I have found no where else, I am stuck with Pottery Barn, but the overall experience has been so horrific that I am just stunned by their apathy, and their lack of assistance and concern for the consumer. I will never step foot in their store again. PLEASE heed my advice: do not even think of ordering a piece of custom furniture from this store, or from pottery barn in general. This is all under the huge umbrella of Williams Sonoma, West Elm, CB2, etc. and it is an example of corporate America no longer caring about the consumer. I purchase a duvet two months ago. It was $424 and is unusable because it is so "pilled" that it is uncomfortable on my skin. I sent two emails with pictures and never received a response. I called customer service and was told that "all our duvets pill, there's nothing we can do about it." As I replied, well it would have been nice to know that before I spent this kind of money. Frank at Pottery Barn is one of the most unprofessional managers I've ever met. He complains when customers order something that is stored in their 'offsite' warehouse. The staff at the Gardens mall need some training on how to handle online orders for pick up at their location. Their corporate district manager is complacent and condescending when speaking to her. The company has sales tactics that are borderline fraud - offering 20 to 25% off non-sale items then reducing prices on items by a few bucks to avoid giving that discount. Senior management staff at Williams Sonoma, the owners of PB, are even worse to deal with if you manage get in contact with them. There are other stores that sell items much like PB and WS who offer more appropriate customer service - and at much lower prices. The name means nothing anymore. read more

I placed an order for a bathroom vanity at this location. The delivery was set and I waited in my house for 6 hours for the truck. I called the service line to no avail, and when I would call the main Pottery Barn line, they would try to connect me to deliveries and no one still answered. Our salesperson Hailey was great however it seems like the store also can not get in touch with the delivery crew. My vanity is still not here and now it says "Cancelled" on delivery status. No one knows what is going on and I need to install my bathroom as I am now delaying and paying for construction time! The staff is so snotty considering the furniture is cheap, made in China crap. I needed 3 bar stools. $700 each. They had to send them 4 times before I got 3 that did not have problems. Sewed unevenly, nailed unevenly, missing crossbar, damaged. Every time I have been in there nobody acknowledges any new customers. And if you are waiting for help they never even look at you and let you know they see you standing there. Most stores acknowledge you and say they will be with you shortly. Not this staff. I had no luck with the store manager. I called customer service and they took care of the problem. They cancelled the order with no charge. The store manager insisted it wasn't possible. We purchased several large items from Pottery Barn Teen and they provided us with a Movers Discount of 15%. There was a rug we also wanted but it was from pottery barn. They located a store that had the rug in stock and said they would call ahead and ask them to further honor the discount. We went to the store to pick up the item and they refused to give us the 15% discount. We tried to explain but they would not give us any help or consideration. Consumer Warning! Think twice before you pay full price at Pottery Barn. I was a big fan of pottery barn and my house is full of their furniture and accessories. However, I purchased an item at their Palm Beach Gardens store on 12/12 and it went on sale 4 days later. I took my receipt to the store and asked for a price adjustment. The unfriendly manager immediately refused saying CORPORATE WON'T LET US DO THAT. I was shocked and asked to speak to someone...she gave me number to corporate office and they only had voice mail response. I further questioned it and the manager kept saying "I work for a CORPORATION and there's nothing I can do". I then said, this item is still returnable and she said yes, if you want to return it and rebuy it I can do that. Unfortunately that would require a round trip drive of one hour. So let's understand, they wouldn't price adjust but they could put me through an extraordinary amount of effort to retrieve the item and then the result would be the same..is this logical??.sounds like they want to make you give up rather than accommodate. I am done with this store! btw, I was told by CORPORATE that a district mgr would call in 24 hours...didn't happen. read more
