So I typically do a lot of online purchasing with pottery barn, but I went in here to do a return from Pottery Barn kids. They were extremely helpful and kind. It feels like all the couches I see in store and online all look exactly the same and that bores me. I wanted furniture that feels like me! I came here because I couldnt find a couch design in the specific fabric I wanted and know that they do custom designs. The staff member who helped me was so helpful. We walked through the store and looked at a few couch options that could be altered to fit my specific taste. We looked at fabric samples and mixed and matched pillows and textures to really get a feel for the design. She sketched a few ideas for me and we talked through price point. I already had another quote for a different vendor to do a very similar design and ultimately the other designer was better priced but the experience here was one idea actually recommend. If you dont mind shelling out the cash, id say go with them. I ended up having my couch made elsewhere and wasnt satisfied with the quality at all. Next time around ill pay Pottery barn to do the work as I should have done. read more

Customer service at this location is garbage. Been to a couple of these stores and the staff here are by far the rudest. I bought a 'nice and expensive' bed linen set and it's the last time I will buy bedding from Pottery Barn. In general, very high prices and sub par quality. For anyone looking for an extremely comfortable, quality bed set, check out Brooklinen. Fantastic products and even better customer service. Don't waste your time or money at Pottery Barn. read more

This is so frustrating--We love the design and the quality of the furniture but their pricing has hidden fees and surcharges beyond belief. We ordered over $24K of furniture for a new home. $279 delivery charge for it all to come in one large order the first week of March 2025. To be honest--at that price point I was half expecting them to comp the delivery charge--NOTHING we bought was on sale. We went back to Pottery Barn in Juneto order a coffee table (SKU 3579762). The table cost a bit more than our budget but it went perfectly with everything else in our living room so we agreed to splurge for the $1,200 small table. BUT--the ONLY way to purchase this table is to agree (on checkout) for a $279 White Glove Delivery for a rattan table weighting 17pounds. It is not available for store pickup within 200 miles of us. Come on--We cannot have it shipped to the store or even have a driveway delivery ($179!) so they are gouging us for an extra $100 to carry an already-assembled 17-pound coffee table through our front door and into our living room. That is a 23% delivery charge for a single item weighing 17 pounds. THIS leaves a bad taste and is our final (and lasting) impression of Pottery Barn. Oh--and the two sides tables that go with it--are backordered until OCTOBER! So we will have to pay an additional $179 to have those two tables (SKU 8588572) shipped to driveway this fall. IF WE WAITED until October (this order was placed in June) THEN we could all three tables delivered for the $279 flat rate. Horrible pricing scheme. No help from Customer Service. It's a scam. How can you possibly advertise in-store pickup (that does not exist) and then a price if you then tack on an obligatory 23% charge for White Glove Delivery. They should rename it Latex Glove Delivery because this process reminds me of my trip to the proctologist. Shameful pricing. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE A PB GIFT CARD. If you or anyone that receives a card, uses it for an online purchase, and returns the item or cancels the order...there is no clear mechanism to get the value back to the card...there is no way for them to put the credit back on your card. We have been waiting 5 weeks now, and have spent hours on the phone to get a $42.54 credit back on an order that was cancelled before the item even shipped. 6 Reps have promised the credit in the form of an e-Certificate, but we have not received it as promised. Avoid the temptation to give a PB gift card to anyone...unless you hate them. read more

Deception, delays, "not our department" run around, and outright lies - Follow-up After multiple lengthy call with customer service across several days, on 12/11/23 I was assured that the entire order was canceled and that I would receive a refund within 3-4 business days. I called today (12/13/23) to verify because the online account did not show any changes nor did I receive communication about the cancellation. After 35 more minutes I find out that there is no record of the order cancellation. I was once again assured that the cancellation request was submitted and am now being told that the table must be shipped from one of their warehouses to another warehouse BEFORE they will cancel the order. Meanwhile, the chair order cannot be canceled until they hear from an overseas vendor. read more

Found within the mall, this location is a large store on the first floor. They have standard items for the chain, including their seasonal things. We like to go in here and check out all the awesome offerings. Out of the hand full of times we've been, we were never once greeted by staff, nor asked if we needed help finding anything. You can usually find one staff member behind the register and another either consulting on items for customers or working on restocking. We think this is the primary reason service on the floor overall is lacking. Overall: C Not the best and not the worst, location we've been to. read more

We moved and I decided to redecorate our bedroom. We bought new furniture, lamps, linens, and accessories. I loved the beachhouse in the movie Somethings Got To Give with Diane Keaton & Jack Nicholson. I decided to go with an upscale nautical motif, not too beachy....more classically nautically themed. I ventured into Pottery Barn on impulse. I was browsing...thinking I probably wont find anything. A charming red headed male staffer was so warm and friendly he greeted us as we entered. He listened to my decorating wows & suggested I look at the sale bin. I found the perfect linens in the perfect count & perfect fabric...linen $50 pr. Then I glanced at their window hardware....perfection again. We left w/the wrong size but easily exchanged them the following weekend with an equally charming female associate. We left satisfied w/sheers, curtains, rods, & rod ends....for a grand$. We love love love it! read more

I love love love pottery Barn but this location left a lot to be desired with their service. Maybe I didn't "look like" I should be shopping there, at least that's how I felt I was being judged. The manager, a guy who was leaning back against the counter on the phone, kept sending looks over to us. We were never once asked if we needed help and I spent 45-60 minutes in your store. I got to the register and he never acknowledged us even tho I greeted him. Finally a woman in red velvet pants came up once I heard him call on his radio, again never telling us it'd be a moment. She asked if someone was helping us, I said no. At which point the woman we saw circling the sales floor came rushing up and took over the transaction. No conversation with us as the guest other than asking if someone had helped. The woman who took over rang us up silently, then had to ask the man standing on the phone for his manager code. It almost seemed like the staff didn't like each other and it was projecting onto the guest scene. It was the oddest encounter we've ever had in a PB or PBK. I have shopped at many PB stores across the USA and this was by far the most awful experience. As a veteran, I have lived in many states and have been in much "stuffier" areas and have still never been ignored like this. I can't say I won't be back because I need to purchase a ton of linens for our new home, but I will be very reluctant to come back here. The store itself was wonderful. Set up perfectly, several rooms as you walk throughout. Store was very clean and organized, it was as I expected it to be. Located on the lower floor near Bloomingdale's if you've never been. I went around quite a bit before finding the location. This was my first time to the mall here. Park in the "back" section nearest Bloomingdales if you're coming to do any major shopping. Cold water with lemon located near the register. No bathrooms that I saw. read more

ONCE AGAIN Pottery Barn is a HUGE letdown. Their customer service is NON-EXISTENT, their items are overpriced and the quality stinks PLUS we went in there trying to purchase some Christmas decor after the holiday season on sale like we have in the past and for a few stockings costing under 50, they wanted to charge 10 dollars EACH to personalize them! So we would be paying around 50 dollars for the items and then over 60 for personalization!! UH NO, JUST NO! The staff in the store and their customer service on the phone is terribly rude and I have decided that THIS will be the very last time I ever go into this store or purchase any of my hard earned money with this company. They give their customers such a hard time and then the lack of integrity is horrific! NO ONE should have to put up with this nonsense. If I could give POTTERY BARN negative stars I would however YELP requires I assign at least one star which definitely has NOT been earned in any way by this store or the people employed there. Shame on this store and this company. For years I have loved their overpriced but low quality merchandise however I have refrained from buying any of it due to their lack of customer service and their fees are unconscionable! Shopped here many times over the past 18 months to furnish and accessorize a new home. The staff has always has always been helpful and courteous and we've received some excellent design advise. PotteryBarn.com service has left a lot to be desired, so we even place online purchases through this store and then get personal service with any problems or returns. read more

What a true disappointment this Pottery Barn store has become. We have spent well in excess of $10,000 in this store yet service remains a constant problem. Delivery dates are ignored. Quality issues are equally ignored. Inquiring for assistance is ignored. This came to a head this past Monday when I stopped in to purchase several in store items. I was asked if I would like them wrapped and to be picked up at there pick up area on the second floor behind Bloomingdales. After a 40 minute wait I called and asked for a status on bringing these few items up. "Devon" advised me to be patient, that my order was directly on its way and that the need to use an elevator was involved. Yes folks, the delay was because a one story elevator was involved. But I was assured it was being immediately taken care of and again "I needed to be patient". So another half an hour later a nice fellow comes out with Pottery Barn items for...someone else now waiting. I ask him what's cooking and he honestly answers he has never heard of me and had not been told to bring anything up to me. Thus "Devon" had simply mislead me and then ignored my order. So I called again. I got "Devon" who then claimed it was the delivery employee's error. Utter BS! He threw a hard working guy under the bus. I asked to speak to his manager. I explained this was all unacceptable and unfair to the non-salesman hard working guy. I was told "well sorry we have had lots of door deliveries today". Another blatant falsehood. I had now been behind the mall for well over an hour with 1 item brought up! Pottery Barn used to stand for quality, an intelligent sales staff and integrity. Not at this store! Our daughter gave us a thoughtful gift that we needed to exchange . Unfortunately we had to travel to the nearest store which was a three hour trip to return the gift . The store staff reported they could only give us a gift card which they would mail to us. We had hoped we could shop that day since we traveled so far but we returned home. All the associates were rude and did not attempt to assist us at all when we asked for a price check on an item, the associate never returned but began interacting with another person near us. We will spend our money at a different Pottery Barn (the one at Shops of Wiregrass near Tampa) instead. Never again here! read more

Had a pretty good experience with an interior designer who said her name was Brenda. She helped us do a special order of comfort slipcovers. When the order came we got 2 out of 3 boxes, plus one that was supposed to go to Maine. Ooops! I called the store and spoke with a manager named John. He was terrific. Calm, cool, and collected. He resolved the issues (had UPS pick up the wrong slipcover and re-ordered the correct one for us) and was very pleasant to deal with. PB is lucky to have John. read more

This is literally the worst experience I have ever had buying furniture and will most definitely not return to any Pottery Barn. Took two weeks for delivery and before then no one ever knew about my order when I called to inquire about delivery. The delivery guy was ruder than I can describe in words. And the furniture arrived damaged and scuffed up. When brought up to management, they claimed that furniture is sold as is and all sales are final. No one ever offered to take the decorative items off to let me thoroughly inspect it before I made the purchase. We came here to buy a Dining Table and chairs . Jen was super helpful and we left buying the table and chairs and a buffet. Chairs came within four days and were packed well. Table took a couple weeks and the delivery guys were great! Waiting on buffet. Great store and furniture is worth the cost! read more

If you want to be treated disrespectfully; this is the store to shop at. I took in a basket that was a gift with no receipt and the manager (Jeff Morris) had to look up the price. I believe it was around $42. I assumed he would give me store credit. Nope. I had to pick out something right then. Well, when your legs are about to give out; walking through a cramped store on a Saturday afternoon isn't feasible. But, to individuals without a handicap like Mr. Morris you wouldn't understand that. I told him I would come back later. I dragged this huge Havana basket to a few different (friendly) stores. By then, I was beyond exhausted. I told him it's simply not feasible for me to pick out another item. Mr. Morris just walked away. I called my husband to pick me up and I explained the situation that the manager would not accommodate individuals with disabilities. My husband was furious at such ignorance and we left the store. Mr. Morris, perhaps you need to take a few sensitivity classes; along with how to help customers with disabilities. You are clueless. read more
