Not surprised by these reviews......Just had my own Pretty Woman experience in Pottery Barn in Peachtree Corners GA. Remember the scene? Was interested in new furniture, especially end tables for our living room. I was summarily dismissed by a lady with curly hair who told me, when I asked if she could point me in the direction of more end tables, that I just had to look around, they were all over the showroom. I can't wait to come back when I take my business elsewhere and spend the money I plan to spend and tell her "BIG MISTAKE!" It seems to me that physical retail stores are closing left and right, and there are still people out there who want in person guidance and who want to physically see the product, fabrics and textures. Pottery Barn - The only end table I bothered to see after my experience. - Furniture Stores Near Me - Norcross, Georgia

I don't know what is going with the PB Delivery Team and the local delivery vendors here in PB but our couch delivery was an absolute mess. Long story short, we received a damaged couch and asked PB for a replacement. After many back and forths the replacement fell through; no replacement for a couch we had to wait 2+ months for from first purchasing at the nice PB store. So all we could do was ask for a refund. Delivery came and picked up the couch. We were promised a prompt refund, but after 2 weeks still no refund came. PB didn't even have a record of them picking up the furniture. So we didn't have a couch and we also didn't have our money back. We are now left with disputing the charge with our CC company. And guess what? To this day, The Sales team at the local PB doesn't care about us! They don't care and follow up with our case! I would say avoid Pottery Barn for now until they make a systemic change within their org. The way they hand off customers between sales/delivery/customer service is a big mess. They are each individually apologetic when we speak to them about our problems, but all of them are left powerless with the actual act of satisfying the customer. There is no accountability within PB of seeing through that the customer is taken care of. Each team punts the problem off to the next team. And if the next team doesn't take care of the issue, those original individuals that handed off the problem doesn't follow up. There is no oversight and no accountability. The customer is just an entity in the system for them. The customers (you and I) are left having to call and follow up. The customer is left doing all of PB's dirty work for them. read more

I love this place! I've bought God knows how much furniture here and it's my favorite place to lurk. The manager, Randon, helps me find the best deals on everything I need; the rest of the employees have been very helpful, as well. They also offer 0% financing over $500 in your PB card. Walked in with my husband, because store is advertised as pottery barn KIDS on google, looking to see the strollers. Obviously that was a mislabeled because this location doesn't have a kids section. Then decided to browse around and shop for home decor. Not one employee asked if we needed help, was willing to answer any of our questions, or was too concerned with anything other than standing and gossiping in a group at the counter. Good thing I didn't come in to spend over $1200 on a stroller... disappointed to say the least. read more

Return policy stinks. Everything is overpriced. All of these iveroriced storeS have the worst return policies.

Employees were great in the store, but when we coordinated a delivery our mover was told he couldn't pick up the couch and he had to come back 3 days later. Frustrating experience and will not be coming back - will be going to the store in Buckhead moving forward. read more

Located at The Forum on Peachtree Parkway. This Pottery Barn location has a good selection of high quality merchandise at typical high end Pottery Barn prices. The distribution of their staff on the floor seems to be more than sufficient as we had 4 separate staff members ask us if we need help or had questions. The huge drawback of this location becomes apparent when it is time to check out and pay for your selections. They had one inundated cashier who called for help at the check out registers 3 times before I decided to go and see if I could get someone myself. The inundated cashier explained that they were short staffed - that didn't seem to be the case it just seemed that most of the staff were on the floor looking for someone who needed help. When another staff member did finally come to help they seemed quite put out by having to do so. Given the high end price that we pay when we choose to shop at Pottery Barn, I think that much more efficient check out service is to be expected. I will continue to shop at Pottery Barn on occasion but think I'll use a different location than the one at The Forum. read more

BEAUTIFUL AND TASTEFUL! How can you not love everything in this store? I love the neutral colors and the clean, simple lines. In addition to the neutral furniture pieces, they offer pops of color through various decorating elements, (pillows, dishes, home decor items). I love, love, love the bedding because it is quality all the way, very lush and comfy looking and feeling. I can never pass a bed without touching the covers. However, looks can be deceiving because that plush comforter is really a duvet cover that is placed over a down comforter. I am not sure if I like this because I find comforters to be a better fit and you don't have to worry about constantly trying to adjust your bedding as the comforter tends to relax and bunch at times. I really enjoy trying out their seating options. Whether you want it big and encompassing or small and intimate they have it. They have formal seating that allows you to sit up very high, (formal), or more casual pieces that suck you in and make you feel very cozy. All of the pieces are very comfortable and they offer 80 different fabrics from which to choose which means you should have no problem matching your aesthetic. It figures that the one color that caught my eye, (bright orange) is not available! Anyway, there are plenty of other options. Yes, it is expensive but quality furniture should last indefinitely and when you get tired of it, you re-purpose it or have it re-upholstered. You can also pass it down to the kiddies, (if they ever leave!). Furniture holds a lot of memories. The farm style table we once had in our kitchen is now my husband's work table in his office and my favorite dresser now sits in the hallway with the dining room linens, medications and overflow linen. When you are thinking about these quality pieces, think about all the great possibilities and only buy what you truly love because if it is of impeccable quality, you will have it for a lifetime. read more

I really love this pottery barn location so it's hard for me to write this. I went in sometime in December and worked with the assistant manager (who was very nice). He assured me that he would get me a discount on my shipping. I have called the manager and I have gone into the store multiple times but to this day no discount. Over 2016 I've spent around $3,000 here. I've been in and out numerous times, some times making a big ticket purchase, other times a small purchase, other times a return. It always is the same. I walk in and there are numerous employees buzzing around busily staging furniture or working at a computer. It takes an eternity for someone to make eye contact with me. Then finally someone acknowledges me by saying something like "Is there no one up front?". Like it's my fault I haven't been helped yet. Is there a particular counter out of the three that is the right place to find someone to help me? Am I supposed to just know where to stand? It's clear I'm looking for assistance by the way I'm breaking my neck to make eye contact with someone in a name tag. The employees are nice, but why is it so difficult getting a little attention? Furthermore, one of the purchases I made in store was a table and the stain is coming off in several places. I called the store and they gave me a number to call. I called the number and was told that because it was bought in store and not online they couldn't help me and to call the store again. I did so twice more and left messages for the manager both times. I even mentioned it in person on another visit when I made yet another $200 purchase. Again no follow up. Bad experience here and when I read the other reviews the same theme resonates. Had a very poor experience when it came to customer service. Granted I didn't work with every employee there and I am sure there are some good ones; however, we worked with management there and this is where the buck stops. Numerous phone calls weren't returned, emails weren't returned. Ended up going to another Pottery Barn and received refund to match same purchase I made at another store. Reached out to their corporate office and received phone call from district manager profusely apologizing. read more

Brides beware! If I could give a 0 star rating I would. If you are planning your future home and registering a year before your wedding I would advise against registering here and having this store at The Forum be your "home base." Having just moved in and renovating a home I was ready to start furnishing and realized what I had registered for and received after our wedding was not exactly what I wanted. I went in to return some bedding as well as some canisters and received the worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life. From the start, Nancy was disrespectful, rude, and couldn't be bothered. My mother and I stood there in disbelief that someone who works at a higher-end retail store could act this way towards their customers. It seemed as if she was doing me a favor in even considering accepting a return after my wedding when, in fact, I have done your company a favor in registering for hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from your store. I don't think I am the first bride to ever need to return items they no longer want and would rather have something else. I was told that the canisters "looked like they had been used." Yes, they do look cloudy...as do the ones you have on display which is precisely why I am returning them. I was made out to be a liar and dishonest and am still shaking because I am so insulted and angry. Furthermore, does Pottery Barn not accept return items that are sold online but not that particular store? The attempt to give me a credit for the duvet and shams for $50 is ridiculous when it is being sold online for more than double that amount currently. Yet again, another "favor" I was being given. The manager of the store was more helpful but that's not hard to attain after what was experienced. As Nancy stood there and talked down to me as if I was a child, I was even further insulted as she bold face lied when I mentioned the comments made earlier to her boss claiming those things were not said. Nancy let me know her daughter is getting married soon and I really hope she never has to encounter the attitude and lack of customer service I received. I had walked in planning to spend $500+ on bedding and furnishings from this store and got out of there as quickly as I could empty handed. I would hate to think my money would go to this specific store; not to mention, I'm pretty certain commission would have gone their way as well.
