I ordered backpack for my son which should be on stock. We were trying to choose from the one in stock because we needed the backpack ASAP. After almost week when nothing was happing I went to take a look on it. Then I saw that the date was changed from September 19th to November 11th. I called them after waiting almost 20 minutes only option was cancel the item. I canceled it. My son liked another backpack from them which was on stock and they offered next day delivery. So after while I agreed and ordered another backpack from this company, paid a LOT! That was huge mistake. On Friday I got email that backpack was shipped. It was 2 days after I ordered the second one. I hoped that everything will be ok this second time. BIG MISTAKE! After 3 days from this shipping email I took a look and there was written that only label was created. UPS is still waiting for the item. I was trying to call them, message them. Resolution? They don't know where the package is. It is probably stucked in their distribution center. They need 5 bussines days to find it and if they won't then I have to contact them AGAIN to get it resolved. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I GOT!!! DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM! read more

Cute items but delivery is the worst. I ordered my son's backpack and lunch bag on August 1st. Website said products were in stock. The next day, they were backordered. Two weeks later, they are back in stock and ready to ship. We'll the backpack shipped in a day. The lunchbag was being monogrammed. So 3 days later, it still said ready to ship. I received the backpack yesterday and went to check to see if the lunchbag was shipped. NOPE.It is now again backordered, and they took the money out of my account. They gave my son's lunchbag away to someone else after stating it was about to be shipped 4 days ago. I will never purchase anything from this company again. Then after I called to rip someone a new one, amazingly they will be in stock again. They sent UPS a shipping label notice that came to my email and refunded then did another pending payment on my account. You gave my son's lunchbag away and I have included the screenshots. Surprisingly terrible customer service. We had called ahead inquiring about a particular furniture item, was told they do have it on the floor to try out, but that was not the case. 30 min drive for nothing. The general in store experience was bad too. There was one really nice helpful lady (I wish I caught her name, African American, about 5'7" ish). Everyone else literally just...stared at us. It was really uncomfortable, to the point that we just made our purchases online. read more

Store is divided down the middle, right is 'boys' and 'girls' on the left.... not much sale/clearance selection in the beginning of summer. This is a great little spot hidden away in a row of stores. My wife is HUGE pottery barn fan and is now an even bigger pottery barn kids fan since our daughter is getting older and able to walk through the store. Our daughter enjoys grabbing just about everything off the shelves to walk around with, but we do a decent job at distracting her with other things. The thing we love most about the store is the wide array of items ranging from backpacks/books to furniture and stuffed animals. The quality of the items are definitely premium and that is why we enjoy shopping here. The items are a bit expensive, but you truly get what you pay for. Our recent trip yielded a stuffed animal in the form of a bunny for our daughter and it is now her favorite toy/stuffed animal. She can't be without it. It is incredibly soft and well made. I struck out at the Promenade on Saturday. I went in here looking for a very simple. classic comforter set that is all over the Pottery Barn Kids website...I couldn't remember the name (sorry, apparently this means you're not an effective customers) but explain quite clearly - it's most white with colored trim. I was looking around a lady behind the counter asked what I needed and explained, the above, and she was like "oh it's over there to the right" - well, I had just been there and there was only like, animal print comforters...not this simple style I was looking for. So, I tell her so, and she says, "well you could do paisley with it or blah blah blah" - what lady?! I know how to match prints, I'm asking DO YOU HAVE THIS COMFORTER? ENGLISH, DO YOU SPEAK IT? So, I tell her, fine, I'll go look again. Go back, look at the wall, still not there. My mom asks another lady for help and she comes up to me, so I greet her and start to tell her what I'm looking for only to be CUT OFF with "ARE YOU REGISTERED WITH US?" Murderous engaged...I just said, "I'm leaving." and left. read more

If I could give ZERO Stars, I would!!! WARNING DO NOT ORDER FROM POTTERY BARN KIDS!!!!!!! We ordered from the drop-down menu on the website "In-Stock Kid's Funiture" back in May; you'd think with a label like that, the items would be INSTOCK (what a crazy idea). Well, you guessed it... they aren't. It's going on four months, and the items are still not all in stock. They have changed the estimated delivery four times now without explanation. The website and emails the company sends never share that the items are not in stock, poor communication, and transparency. Customer Service is nothing to write home about either, be ready to wait 30-45 minutes before you speak to someone. In my case they are nice but have no idea how to help other than ready their screen, I have the same conversation Every time I call, but each time the customer service rep has different information, "I'm happy to inform you all items are in stock" I'm sorry ma'am, you were given the wrong information they arent in stock...etc. Today I tried to cancel my order because I just want to take my money and business elsewhere, but I can't even do that. They said my items are in "fulfillment," so I have to wait until they are received at the delivery warehouse ( the people who will deliver my items) and cancel with them. So basically, there is no end in sight. So please be warry of ordering with Pottery Barn Kids, Please learn from my ongoing experience. I hope this will be resolved sooner than later, but something tells me that it will be another few months. read more

I've got to say our experience here was pretty average. The furniture is beautiful and I think we will probably wind up buying it, but the set up and the merchandising of the store is odd and the customer service (at that price point) was lacking. Further confusing issues is the pricing - there is one price in the store, one price in the catalog, and a third price online. I haven't quite worked out how this works, but if you plan on buying any furtniture, I think if you spen about 15 mins you may be able to save several hundred dollars. Final tip, create a registery and then use the "completion" discount to actually buy the furniture. read more

My wife and I went into the Evesham location because we saw a 4 in 1 crib in their catalog that we liked. The picture of it looked light grey in color. When we located the crib (which was converted to the bed) it was more of a brown color. We asked about other color choices and were told by the associate that it comes in be blue or brown. We commented that the picture in the catalog was grey, and asked if that was an option - at which point the woman said "if you don't like what we have there's the door". My initial reaction was 'Wow, I can't believe she just said something so obnoxious'. But I chocked it off as probably a misunderstanding on my part along with a misspoken comment or bad joke on hers. As we continued chatting with her about other products, she then said completely out of nowhere, "I assume you two are adopting". At this point, I no longer felt that her previous comment was a mistake/misunderstanding but that she was in fact just being rude. I don't know if she said that comment because I am older, late 40's and my wife is in her late 30's or because my wife was wearing clothing that hid her stomach. Either way, nothing in our conversations about their products warranted any comment from her about our baby plans, whether they be adoption or birth. Great products. HORRIBLE Customer service. Literally every interaction with customer service has been a problem. They refuse to honor policies/discounts. Regardless of the process, it's never smooth or easy. For the prices (which are very high), you should get "discount service." We regret having registered for our baby shower here. read more

I found this store to be deceptive and rude. I went in looking for a bed for our child. There was a 20% sale which was great. We purchased a bed for $299 asking for delivery and in-home setup. Great. $100 for setup - expensive but OK you were clear and I asked. Now for the rub. I was charged 2 different delivery fees. I cannot figure out why I should be charge 2 separate fees for delivery especially when delivery is actually the ONLY option as you don't stock the item in the store. I find this practice is very deceptive and actually hiding the true price of the item which is very shady. Secondly the 20% sale didn't apply since this item wasn't in stock. Instead I got 20% off a pillowcase. I specifically said great 20% I will buy a bed to the salesperson who didn't correct me that there would not be a discount on the bed. Save your time and money unless you want to get ripped off. read more

Called to inquire about a sea horse tunic and sea horse tote today the lady, wish I could remember her name, said yes we have some summer stuff. I said I am looking for the sea horse collection could you check for me please? This women huffed and said well I don't know what we have back there its all on clearance and I would have to put you on hold, walk back there and check and we are busy. I just hung-up the phone I could not believe how rude she was.
