Nothing but amazing shoe guys. Not only are there shoe cobbling skills amazing, but their YouTube channel is super fun as well.

I have a pair of suede Fye boots. The heels were in need of serious repairing. The local cobblers…read morewere backed up until sandal weather was due to return. I emailed Peabody. Their email response was on point and they answered all my questions! I boxed up my favorite Fye pair, and with a phone call to verify the correct address with "Troy" I shipped them out USPS. Per the tracking they arrived two days later at 10 a.m. I received a Text from Peabody at 11:30 a.m. the same day alerting me that they were done and would be shipped out the same day. I paid and two day later my boots arrived USPS. They looked great and I wore them the next day to work. I was more than pleased.

They made it sound like it would be an easy fix and only be 15 dollars. I had someone else pick them up (they charged them 25....) and when she brought them back I saw that they had butchered the strap. Ripped leather, poor stitching repair and just plain ugly. If they weren't skilled enough to do the work they should have just said no. Now I have a 500 dollar brand new pair of shoes ruined. I try to always support local business but any place that would knowingly send back this shoddy work with so much as an apology and instead actually charge more deserves to be avoided.
