I got my lower legs waxed for the first time EVER on Saturday. When I entered the shop, there was…read moreno one in the lobby to check in with so I hung around for about five minutes (I'd arrived about 10 minutes early, as the website says to do). There are Fiji water bottles in the lobby but no sign by them. I wasn't sure if they were included in the cost of the appointment or cost extra so I didn't take one. Maybe if I was bolder, I wouldve inquired. They sell a number of sugar scrubs and other products that you can use after your sugaring/waxing appointment at home. At 2:30pm, a technician came out with another customer who'd just finished and greeted me after closing out her appointment. I was definitely nervous but my technician put me at ease with light conversation and music (they let you choose what music you want when you schedule your appointment). I had initially made my appointment for sugaring but I was told that my hairs were too short and that wax would work better. I was a bit disappointed because I'd read about sugaring, but happy that my technician was able to provide good advice. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected it to. I was in and out in about 45 minutes with silky smooth legs.

Overall, I would highly recommend for the waxing/sugaring.

The facility was clean and had a calm vibe, and the receptionist was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I have already booked my next appointment.

I will never return to this location. My preferred waxer, Ivania, was the only reason I continued…read morecoming here, and without her, there is no reason for me to stay. Unfortunately, I've had a number of service issues that made my experience difficult: * Ignored disability accommodation: I submitted a disability form outlining that I need extra time for appointments. Despite this information being on file, front desk staff consistently ignored it. Ivania always respected my needs and had the step I requested ready, but she was never given enough time to properly complete my service. When appointments ran behind, the front desk publicly blamed her in front of other customers, making me feel at fault for needing the accommodations I'd already documented. * Billing error: I was charged for a lower leg package I didn't purchase and clearly stated I didn't need. When I tried to get this corrected, staff refused to switch it to a full leg package (which is what I actually use). I now have 12 unused lower leg passes that I will never use. * Unprofessional interactions: I experienced rude and overly pushy behavior from front desk staff on multiple occasions. Ivania was professional, attentive, and made me feel valued and respected as a client. Without her, I have no reason to return. I hope you'll use this feedback to improve how you support both clients with disabilities and your dedicated staff members.

Are you ready for your world to change?…read more The only reason why I thought of not posting what I will say, is because I know this will get Magdalen more busy and man what will I do if I ever lose her? I don't know. But let me tell you a little bit more about the decision you are about to make. My first ever waxer relocated to a whole another state and I was lost for sometime. I tried to become a regular for European Wax but their service and work did not mix well with me. I am currently located at #AspenHills #Rockville and I started looking for waxers. Wanting to find a place that feels like home and a safe space to be reborn every other 4-6 weeks. When I found Magdalen's page, the reviews automatically got my attention and decided to book being that she was 13-15 min away. The BEST decision I've made all year. When you enter, this particular smell that its so deliciously delicate welcomes you. Warning, in the beginning you will be confused and nervous because her method is so different from what everyone else is doing. But trust me when I say that it's less painful and more effective. I have thick hair and it grows really fast but after my first visit with Magdalen I noticed about only 60% of my hair growing back. Which is crazy for the amount of hair I used to grow with the other waxer. She warned me about growing less hair and less pain but you just have to book for the experience and for finding a home. She cleans THROUGHLY... life changing. Her wisdom definitely outshines her years of experience and yes, you will look forward to seeing her every visit.
