I'm so happy to have this library downtown…read more I used to stop by when I needed a change of scenery after a couple hours working from a coffee shop and didn't want to purchase anything else. Their wifi never quite worked for my work laptop but I can use the hotspot data from my phone so it was never an issue for me. My work laptop stays home these days but we still stop by to use their printer (first three pages are free). I recently decided to stop using their computers to pull up the pages (to save time) and found that sending the pages from my phone (using the instructions from their website) works well for most things. We have also been enjoying their evening story time series. Many events for children are during my work hours so I'm glad there's at least one at 6pm. Thirty minutes is perfect for the reading and singing part in the meeting room. Some people also arrive at the library early and/or stay for a bit after if they'd like to chat or explore the library toys. They also have events for teens and adults but I haven't explored those yet.

Their online renewal system works great, and they've been very helpful with knocking down late fees when you need it (often through donating canned goods to wipe the slate clean)! They also frequently have special events for the kids, particularly during the summer months, to get them both excited about reading and out of the house.

It may not have a lot of books, but it's part of a huge group of libraries so you can search and place a book on hold you want to read. They also have little rooms and sections of the library for people to use for meetings and such. They have some classes you can sign up for as well. I love this place.

Given the size of the school, it's a pretty tight knit community and not overwhelming like some of the larger schools. Some of the campus could use some upgrading, but it's like that at most of places. I haven't been to the satellite campus, but I heard there is some cool stuff going on there. The views outside the windows are spectacular and there's a lot for the kids! My son loved the Yoto stations and my daughter loved the play house. They both enjoyed the puzzle table too. They aren't old enough for computers yet, but there were plenty in there that kids were utilizing well. The bathroom was easily accessible and clean too.

Great library!…read more There is a children's library downstairs, and the adult library is upstairs. They have a good selection of books, they also use interlibrary loan so they can get other books that they don't have in-house delivered. They have a good selection of films, they even have video games which I haven't seen a lot of libraries that have that. They have a library of things, which means they have some small devices and appliances that you can check out and use. The librarians are really helpful and friendly. For the kids library downstairs they have a lot of really great events and toys and computers that the kids can use. It's also located right next to a park, so you can make a day of it, you can come and check out the library, then do a picnic, then play on the playground. So why four stars instead of five? Well, the public parking lot for the library has a time limit! And so if you spend too long here you will get a ticket. Other than that this library is pretty sweet.

He loved the library and they dedicated space for other children and their parents to sit down and read a book.

There are lots of activities here at the physical library, but I tend to use this library as my springboard into the electronic library for books on my tablet, particularly for travel. There are those times, however, when having a physical book in my hands just feels right and here is where browsing the shelves for that perfect read is actually fun. They have a large selection of books and media but my favorite is The Library of Things collection. The library itself has large areas divided into children's, teens, and adults. They have free Wi-Fi available that is quite fast and reliable. A half-dozen children's computers are in the front of the library, the adult computers are several steps further.
