Their wifi never quite worked for my work laptop but I can use the hotspot data from my phone so it was never an issue for me. My work laptop stays home these days but we still stop by to use their printer (first three pages are free). I recently decided to stop using their computers to pull up the pages (to save time) and found that sending the pages from my phone (using the instructions from their website) works well for most things. We have also been enjoying their evening story time series. Many events for children are during my work hours so I'm glad there's at least one at 6pm. Thirty minutes is perfect for the reading and singing part in the meeting room. Some people also arrive at the library early and/or stay for a bit after if they'd like to chat or explore the library toys. They also have events for teens and adults but I haven't explored those yet.

Their online renewal system works great, and they've been very helpful with knocking down late fees when you need it (often through donating canned goods to wipe the slate clean)! They also frequently have special events for the kids, particularly during the summer months, to get them both excited about reading and out of the house.

I haven't gone in to the new location (it used to be by the old railroad cars/train station on the…read morenorth side of downtown), but they were super helpful over the phone so I didn't even have to make a trip. I think this isn't an official state agency, but a private office that contracts to provide licensing services, so maybe there are slightly more fees than going straight to the state, but if so, I haven't noticed them. Even if there are fees, it's totally worth it because it's fast and they're helpful, pretty much the opposite of the official state agency offices (in Seattle, at least). When I have gone in in person (which I've done at least 5 times over the last decade), I have always quickly gotten what I needed (plates for a new car, replace lost tabs after moving, etc.), as compared to "take a number and wait" in state offices. The only two improvements I could ask for are: 1) for them to be open on Saturday so I don't have to take time off work, and 2) last time I was there in person (Nov 2017), the lady wasn't as friendly as usual, but she was still helpful and quick, so it's still five stars!

It just shows how large the territory used by the Nez Perce was (and when you look at the size of their reservation now, sadly how small and confined they are now). There's a museum at the park headquarters which goes into the culture of the Nez Perce and how it was changed and evolved with the introduction of horses, white settlers, and to the present. If you're also looking into the history of the region, one stop is Canoe Camp, where the Nez Perce helped Lewis and Clark by feeding them and to carve the canoes that took them to the Pacific Ocean Captains. The Corps of Discovery spent more time among the Nez Perce than any other group they encountered in their journey, and entrusted them with their horses and gear as they embarked on their final leg of their journey to the Pacific Ocean.

They do primarily vehicle licensing but do not do driver licensing. The picture posted is also misleading because it's of the driver licensing facility, though the address is for licensing etc. The folks at licensing etc are friendly and professional as long as you are friendly and professional with them. But they also have very strict rules they have to meet and can't just overlook their requirements because you have some weird exception, and I have seen them absolutely shut down people who are being rude to them, rightfully so. If you go in there with a professional attitude, you will receive it back. If they need something else from you it's because the state requires it, not because they do.

I got married had my social changed, went to get my driver's license and they were very rude and short with me. I got a letter stating my license would be suspended in 2 weeks because my social did not match my new drivers license. I went in immediately to replace and show that my social matched. The lady said she corrected everything on her end and that I would be good to go and got my temp Enhance Drivers License. I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN TROUBLE IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!!! and now I called to check the status because my card enhanced license still has not come in from the 8th of September... and found it is suspended, the lady might as well have run her fingers back and forth on the key pad then charged me the fee. I NOW HAVE A SUSPENDED LICENSE AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO MY JOB OR ANYOTHER LIKE IT BECAUSE OF THIS ON MY RECORD!!!!
