I haven't gone in to the new location (it used to be by the old railroad cars/train station on the north side of downtown), but they were super helpful over the phone so I didn't even have to make a trip. I think this isn't an official state agency, but a private office that contracts to provide licensing services, so maybe there are slightly more fees than going straight to the state, but if so, I haven't noticed them. Even if there are fees, it's totally worth it because it's fast and they're helpful, pretty much the opposite of the official state agency offices (in Seattle, at least). When I have gone in in person (which I've done at least 5 times over the last decade), I have always quickly gotten what I needed (plates for a new car, replace lost tabs after moving, etc.), as compared to "take a number and wait" in state offices. The only two improvements I could ask for are: 1) for them to be open on Saturday so I don't have to take time off work, and 2) last time I was there in person (Nov 2017), the lady wasn't as friendly as usual, but she was still helpful and quick, so it's still five stars! read more

I've had to transfer two vehicles up to Washington (pullman) from California and the ladies in the office made it super super easy. They're so friendly and helpful.
