I'm so happy to have this library downtown…read more I used to stop by when I needed a change of scenery after a couple hours working from a coffee shop and didn't want to purchase anything else. Their wifi never quite worked for my work laptop but I can use the hotspot data from my phone so it was never an issue for me. My work laptop stays home these days but we still stop by to use their printer (first three pages are free). I recently decided to stop using their computers to pull up the pages (to save time) and found that sending the pages from my phone (using the instructions from their website) works well for most things. We have also been enjoying their evening story time series. Many events for children are during my work hours so I'm glad there's at least one at 6pm. Thirty minutes is perfect for the reading and singing part in the meeting room. Some people also arrive at the library early and/or stay for a bit after if they'd like to chat or explore the library toys. They also have events for teens and adults but I haven't explored those yet.

A GREAT public library, with very friendly and helpful staff. They have a great selection,…read moreespecially of children's books, and also a nice play area to keep the smaller ones distracted while the big kids scan the shelves. Their online renewal system works great, and they've been very helpful with knocking down late fees when you need it (often through donating canned goods to wipe the slate clean)! They also frequently have special events for the kids, particularly during the summer months, to get them both excited about reading and out of the house.

It doesn't look like a BIG building which holds much books. When you arrive to the parking lot…read moreunderstand there are more stalls in the back of lot. There is a drive thru option too! This neighborhood library is cozy and provides a space to do business, school, and research. There are plug-in for people to use their own devices with free wi-if access. The staff is helpful, and eager to help. The reading events are posted on the announcement board and the space is clean and odor free. Post COVID now, and all the library locations make it easy to access all resources with different needs in mind. Although masks are optional, people do mind their space. Thank you MID-COLUMBIA LIBRARIES FOR PROVIDING ACCESS TO LIBRARY MATERIALs during such interesting times!

This is a "drive through" library nearby the water tower. You can pick up items that you have…read moreplaced on hold without getting out of your car. I imagine that it would be helpful if you have a disability that makes going inside difficult, or are in a hurry and just want to pick up and return items quickly. I was disappointed though, that this library is so small inside. Although there is a regular library inside, there are basically three parts -- one area with about 10 computers for public use, one area for small kids (preschool-early elementary age) and then a small selection of books. It would be nice if they had tables that could be used for working or a study area for older children, teens, and college students. Still, it's a convenience that they added this West Pasco location. The inside is very nice and new, and even though it is not large there are a few chairs placed so that you can sit and read. Free wifi as well. I guess you can't have everything!
