Tried another tablet and it did the same thing. Eventually an older, bearded man comes up to me and instructs me on "how to use it". I let him know I just want to search all "Happy Valley" brand products in the search bar. He insists that the correct way to do it is to sort by "category" then select the brand from the side menu.. Yeah that is one way to do it- a less efficient way than just clicking the search bar and typing exactly what I am searching for. I politely, and in just an informative FYI kind of way, tried to let him know that almost every dispensary tablet menu and website menu I've used has an easy to use search function and that is a bit of a more efficient way to do it. I also politely let him know there is a way to turn off the "auto correct" typing function within the tablets settings. Was just trying to impart some friendly information.. but this guy immediately becomes defensive and snarls at me, "Well actually in MY SIX YEARS of experience in this business, it doesn't work like that!" So what he's saying is that in his six years of experience in this business he has never encountered a digital menu with a functioning search bar ? Lol ok. I kind of just laughed it off and said "Ha alright buddy". Then he storms away from me and a younger woman takes his place. She was much friendlier. Honestly, I was so taken aback. I was just trying to impart some friendly advice as someone who is somewhat tech savvy and has been dealing with iPads and tablets for a lot longer than the six years that this "gentleman" has been fumbling with them in the cannabis business. Anyway, I bought two Happy Valley Super Lemon Haze Live Resin carts. Good price but they were very dated, nearly a year old and the oil has begun to oxidize and turn dark. Based on the quality of these carts, the rest of their product selection and the incredibly rude and ignorant older man that was working there Sunday morning, April 6th- I would not return or recommend this spot. To the owner, FYI, if you happen to care at all, a working search bar on your in store tablets is kind of a must. And make sure the "auto correct" feature on each tablets individual settings is turned off. And tell grumpy Gus maybe he needs to sample some of the wares, calm down and not get agitated when a customer gives him some friendly advice.
