Best baked potato ever! (The fajita jacket). Portions were huge. Service was excellent. Restaurant was very clean. A couple of blocks outside the heart of downtown Clifton falls, but well worth the walk. Can't wait to go back. read more

Needed a break from all the tourist food and decided to try this place. Glad we did. The chicken shawarma was juicy, the garlic sauce was on point, and the portions were more than enough. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly, and the food tasted fresh. My family enjoyed it, and it was a nice change from the usual chain restaurants around Niagara Falls. Would definitely stop by again next time we're in town. The shawarma and hummus are worth trying. read more

We came here while visiting Niagra falls. We finished the boat ride and on our way back to the hotel we came across this place. They had a lot on their menu and we decided to share the butter chicken potato jack, chicken wings, and chicken shawarma poutine. Everything was halal and the serving sizes were so big! We had leftovers even after sharing amongst 4 people. Everything was made nice and fresh and turned out delicious! read more

Quality of food is ok . They overcharge for small servings and include gratuity in final bill without disclosing . The shop and seating is run down . I At checkout I ordered cappuccino the guy charged me $ 5 and gave me regular coffee and said do I need milk and sugar read more

Our orders; Fajita chicken baked potato & buffalo chicken baked potato. Pros: + Such delicious food: our baked potato exterior was crunchy. They also took the potato and mashed it before serving. So tasty! And such big portions. The side salad was also rather refreshing. Cons: - No parking: Though this comes as little surprise since it is located near the touristy Clifton hills. Wow, this place was absolutely phenomenal. I've been looking for a GO TO place in this area for a while now. Somewhere simple but tasty. I've absolutely found that place. I'll definitely be back! read more

I'm so happy that a found a good eating spot by the falls. When you enter the restaurant it looks normal. The food was super Delicious and very large amount on portion. The meat was juicy the potato was huge. Everything tasted fresh. This place is for family's I will definitely go again I think it's my favorite spot from now on. Totally recommend it. The service was excellent the guy asked us few times if we need something. Terrible food. Bad service. Exorbitant pricing . A potato with some cheese on top is $20. The falafel was cold and dry served with plain rice. Gulping it down was an effort. Falafel wrap had no veggies, just dry pita and cold falafel. Avoid like a plague. read more

This place saved the day! Having arrived too late in the day to NF, the choice was see the falls and fireworks or get dinner. Let's just say dinner-getting didn't happen until about 1230am. Luckily potato jackets was still open! It says 24/7... but I'm pretty sure they close at 1-2am depending on how busy they are. At the end of a super rainy midweek day, they were cleaning up at 1230ish but HAPPILY obliged (or is that all Canadians?) Serving us take out. We opted for chicken shawarma wraps and POUTINE - bc, when in Canada! The wraps were pretty good, a nice mix of flavor and texture with cabbage, chicken, a soft lovely wrap. I was bestowed some extra garlic which I enjoyed heartily with my wrap. The poutine was BEEF(I assume) gravy (I.e. not pork of course being a halal place which I was super excited for since I don't eat pork. Is that everywhere? In the states it's all pork all the time (rolls eyes). The gravy was a little salty, but the sauces and cheese curds where phenomenal atop the perfect French fries. Overall, a great place with super friendly staff whom I enjoyed chatting with the whole time I waited. If only my travel partner could have come in too- but they were guarding the car in the next door business .... lot since we couldn't find parking related to the restaurant. :/. read more

Very rude .. I was 7 months pregnant and had to use the washroom in emergency as the gas station next door had theirs out of service ! Made me purchase something just so that I could use the washroom ! Kindness is just dead. DISAPPOINTED!!! read more

The foods quality was not great and the chicken was dry and I don't recommend for dining as the area is tourist and overall the food quality is not great. read more

Never had anything like this before. Definitely a unique experience in Niagara especially considering the other halal food options. Basically their specialty is a stuffed potato with different kinds of fillings. My husband had the Chicken Fajita Jacket and I had the Buffalo Chicken Jacket. I found his had more veggies while mine had a good balance of sweet and spicy. A good pick if you want comfort food and don't mind a little drive if you're commuting from Clifton Hill. Parking is also available at the back. The service was good as well. It was our first time there and the owner made good recommendations. We were served fairly quickly which was kind of expected as we were the only ones there. Overall the service was good. read more

Chicken Schwama hummus app is a must and poutine jacket was amazing!! Also try the avocado shake! VERY pleasant staff and great, private outdoor seating environment. Only improvement would be the parking. Spots available behind the restaurant behind the gas station next door, but no signage and only a few spots. Nonetheless, will definitely be back if I'm niagara again ! read more

Our first time to Potato Jackets. LARGE portions. Extremely delicious. Great for families. Clean. Wonderful customer service even though one of our drinks was forgotten, we understood because they were busy at the time. The food is ok. But what let me drop a low rating is what happened at the counter. My friends and I noticed we were overcharged as the total amount was too high even including taxes. The cashier did not explain any additional cost incurred and was just aloof all the time. I dislike sneaky additional charges and would not mind paying if the cashier speaks out upfront. Overall, shit service. read more

Super excited we found a halal eatery in Niagra. It was a few minute walk from our hotel. Very clean, cute little place. We chose to sit out back as the weather was nice and warm. In a city with not a lot of great food choices, Potato Jackets is worth the trip to The Falls alone. Regardless of what side you visit, this establishment is a must visit. Zero for service. One for ambiance and good potato. The employees had no concern or care for guests or their order. It was our first and last visit. I can't say what was the reason for their indifference. May be change in management or whatever. Don't go here. read more

This rating is for the very poor service. We had to get our own menus and still had to wait before flagging staff down. This is very unfortunate, as the food is fantastic. read more

Food was not good at all. The beef shawarma had no flavor at all, we had to beg for sauce and when they brought it out, they only brought 1. Terrible service, terrible food and EXTREMELY expensive. Big portions, tasty food, nice backyard. Service pretty quick. I would go there again. Fancy papato plates

Yelpers if you are at the falls, and looking for something different ... potatoes are honoured here fully than just a mere snack or a side .. we ordered all jacket potatoes with steak, shawarma, and buffalo chicken .. hot sauce on the side if you need an extra kick .. Husam suggested and served us to our satisfaction. They were just the right temperature, crusty outer, soft to the core, and filled very well .. the entire construction was an overwhelming experience.. by the way we had it at around midnight .. a must visit joint for such amazing potatoes. read more

Very good food and service! The falafel plate had a ton of food and was very reasonably priced. Would recommend!

My wife and I were starving after a long road trip to Niagara, and this place was the perfect late night dinner spot. The shawarma poutine, baked potatoes, and chicken shawarma wrap were delicious- so good that we forgot to take pictures of our food. Whoops! read more

Food was really good, but the wait was too long for over 1hr. They had very limited seating and some family/friends of the owner were occupying two large tables for over two hours just gossiping while the staff was struggling to accommodate other customers. I understand it was Canada Day and they were busy. But committing a 30min wait time and being an hour late is not acceptable. The only reason they are getting three stars is coz of good food otherwise it would have been just one. read more

Best place ever. Hookah is good tea is good I'll come back all the time. Lemon mint is really a refreshing drink

The food is pretty good, no doubt. But a potato is 22.50! I wish I were kidding. I get the falls is expensive but holy shit. It's a potato.

I had a beef potato jacket on august 19 late night and about about half hour later on my way home, i started feeling nauseous with pain in the stomache followed by severe diarrhea, had to get off highway to use washroom. i havent had anything else since early afternoon, that was the only food i had, definitely food poisoning. Food was not great either, the beef was dry and so sweet which really bothered me. read more
