I, unfortunately, did not respond well to the medication due to extremely high anxiety. Dr. Tian made sure I had as much time and medication to relax me as needed, even adapting the procedure process to check that I was properly relaxed before starting. His bedside manner is impeccable, with a kind voice and gentle demeanor. He personally called me before surgery to ask if I had any questions and a couple hours after the surgery to check in on me. He was very thorough and answered my millions of questions with patience and concern. The surgery was painless and quick, I felt only a little bit of pressure. The office is clean and well-maintained and they offer a variety of snacks while you and your family wait. I am not even 24hrs post-op and have life-changing vision, way better than I have ever had with glasses at my high prescription despite my eyes still being slightly dilated. It is not easy to handle my extremely high anxiety, I know, but despite me being a very difficult patient, Dr. Tian and King Lasik/K2 Vision knocked it out of the park! 10/10 highly recommend. If every provider were as thorough, patient and kind, the world would be a better place!

Just make sure you find a spot that allows two-hour parking rather than 30 minutes. I'd recommend parking on the left side near Jimmy John's or the Overlake Clinic, there's a good amount of street parking on both sides of the road in that area. I came in around 10 AM and the staff were extremely friendly. They asked about my day and how my morning was, which I really appreciated. I signed a couple of papers to get started and provided my insurance information, my mom is also on the insurance, so it was really nice that they already had a primary provider on file. I was quickly taken into a room and completed a few exams. I also received a free wellness exam since my mom is a current member, which was a huge plus. One thing I really liked about this place is that they don't do the air puff test that most eye doctors use. Usually there's a blue light you stare at and a puff of air that can irritate your eyes, so I was preparing myself for that. I was really happy they didn't do that here. Everything felt very subtle, comfortable, and smooth throughout the exam. The doctor was very kind and thorough. I did end up needing glasses, especially for long-distance driving, and the whole process of getting that figured out was quick and easy. I was able to choose my frames right after, and it was a very seamless experience. My total came out to around $100, and my insurance covered a large portion of it. My glasses should be ready within the next two weeks. Overall, I really loved this place. The staff are incredibly friendly, the process was easy, and the care was great. I would definitely recommend stopping by and I would absolutely come back again.

I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. Initially he treated me with eyedrops only. Later, he performed laser surgery to help control the pressure. At present, my pressure is stable with eyedrops only and my retinal images and visual fields show nothing indicating advancement of the disease. I feel like he is on top of the situation and that I can expect to retain my vision quality under his care.

When I mentioned that to the doctor he shrugged and said he had been busy with something else. No apology from him or his staff and no updates during waiting about what was going on.. The doctor prescribed medication that I was supposed to order through his specialty pharmacy. I was able to transfer that to my regular pharmacy but it is now still held up because the doctor has not replied to my Pharmacy to confirm the prescription.
