They forget to invoice you for things, then send you bills for nonpayment, then when you do pay the bill they forgot to send you in the first place the front office doesn't communicate with accounting, etc etc. Or they overcharge you for services you didn't receive and you have to argue with them over the phone about it. If you pay at time of service make sure to inspect your bill very carefully because it's a pain to try to get it corrected later if there's a mistake. I'm feeling generous so the clinic as a whole gets 4 stars instead of 3, but that's entirely being driven by the quality of actual care providers not by the rest of the office.

However, attempting to make an appointment with him is a HUGE negative experience. Expect to wait weeks/months. I was even told once, when the first appointment I could get was 3.5 months out, that he limited the number of patients he sees who have my insurance. I am double covered with insurance and also have an optional buy up vision plan! Today the scheduler was downright rude to me, grilled me about both my medical and vision insurance, and audibly "snickered" when I asked her name. I believe that some of the office staff definately need some retraining on customer satisfaction. Tip: try to get an appointment as early as possible in the day or don't be surprised if you get seen much later than expected... BUT. Dr. Potampa is well the worth the wait and rude staff. Totally trust him and will continue to schedule my eye appointments with him!

The doctors answered my questions and I got definitive answers to my problem. The staff is professional and competent. Dr Jamil was awesome, but she limits her patients to only those who need her specialty, so she may turn not take you on after the first visit if she feels you do not need her level of care. However, she will help direct you to someone who can. I do not use their optical services, so I can not speak to their care. I buy my glasses elsewhere.
