Since it's recent opening, I have heard a lot about this place. Considering how much I love pizza, I knew I had to try it. Last week I went in to get a take out order. Simple margarita pizza. While I was waiting, someone walked over with a bottle of water and a glass of Chianti. This was incredibly surprising. I even remember texting my fiancé, bubbling with excitement. I always think the little things are the biggest. Especially when it comes to customer service. However today's order was a cheese pizza which I had delivered via Uber. Initially when I opened the box, the pizza looked well cooked from a brick oven. But when I picked up the first slice, everything changed. I could see the thickness, the portion control of cheese to sauce. Then I took a bite ... the sauce was perfect. Just the right amount of savory. The cheese was well mixed. Pizza crust was burnt and carbonized. Even the mushrooms were burnt. Asked if this is the way their pizzas are cooked. Manager said that's a weird question ask. I said, if so I won't come back. He didn't offer to replace it for free. I've had brick oven pizza in many places and I expect a few burnt spots on the bottom, but not enough carbon to overwhelm the taste. My new favorite pizza place! Theyre cooking in an authentic woodburning oven. The crust had the perfect chew to it and was not over-charred. Ordered 2 pizzas to go and it took like 10 minutes. They have a good variety of crafted pizzas, most are about $16-$18 or you can build your own. You might think this is a high cost, but they're a good size at 14 inches. I liked the sausage and mushroom best. It had a hint of truffle oil on it, but wasnt overpowering. I definitely want to go back and try more of their varieties. They also have a few appetizers, salads and even desserts. Some beer and wine. Great place for a casual date nite or a quick lunch! They do need to work on their menu. ..there are large chalkboards that list items and prices only. I was offered a more detailed menu with descriptions, but I don't think all of the pizzas were on there. I happened to see they offer a smaller size pizza for lunch, but I only saw that on Instagram. There was a decent selection of pizza and the pizza we had was definitely above average taste-wise, but a the size was a little smaller than we anticipated. However, I ordered take out Saturday night , picked it up when they said it would be ready, took it straight home to eat and everything was cold. Wings, pizza and pasta all cold. We had to reheat everything. Once we did reheat it, it tasted just like everything else that's gotten cold and been reheated. I live maybe 5 mins from the restaurant so my family and I were quite disappointed. The food had clearly been sitting out for quite a while. Really super Napoli style pizza near Publix in Celebration. We had their Italian salad and honestly was the best salad I had in years. Lots of salami, artichoke hearts, fresh mozz, and more with a very tasty dressing on the side. It is a large meal, or we split it two ways as a first course. Also had a pizza and it was super. Recently was in Naples Italy and this is the real deal made from imported Italian ingredients and baked to perfection. It is a small pizzeria so casual dining spot. Service was excellent and fast. Before I share my experience I want to say the pizza here is delicious!! My boyfriend and I have been coming here at least once a week ever since we discovered it, so nothing at all wrong with the quality of their pizza. Today 02/03/24 We ordered our favorite half classic half Bianca, but today we found a bit of bacon on one side. We had already ate a couple slices before noticing it, but I do not eat bacon due to my religion so I didn't feel comfortable continuing to eat incase there was more bacon on it. We didn't think it would be a big deal to have it remade especially because there was clearly cross contamination, no part of me thought the employees wouldn't be understanding. The first Lady we spoke to was kind and said it was okay to have it remade, but my boyfriend forgot to ask for a clean cut so I had him call again. I just wanted to be more cautious for it not to happen again. He calls and a guy answers the phone. This man is completely defensive saying he made the pizza himself and there was no bacon. My boyfriend explains to him that it was most likely a mistake but there WAS bacon on it. The man on the phone for some reason decides to argue with my boyfriend insisting there was no bacon on it, giving him attitude and sounded angry. He talked to us in such a disrespectful way for absolutely no reason, he said he couldn't give us a refund on the pizza because we had said we already ate a couple slices so my boyfriend tells him we didn't want a refund just wanted a remake. I go pick up the remake and I take the bacon with me to show to the manager. When I get there I was very surprised to learn this man was actually the manager of this restaurant. I showed him the bacon, he did not apologize he said "it must of got on there by mistake" which we already knew it was a mistake he was the only one that made it a big deal. I REMIND him that him being a manger the way he spoke to us was unacceptable and all he did was nod so he obviously knew he was in the wrong. I personally did not feel comfortable to eat the pizza after hearing the way he spoke on the phone I felt he could have done something to our pizza just to be petty towards us so I told him I needed a refund instead. Again he did not apologize he just gave me my refund. I asked for his name and he said his name is Jose but he was hesitant to give it to me so I don't know if it was even his real name. I feel all of this could have been avoided but clearly Jose felt the confrontation was a better option. To be a manager talking to guest that way is unacceptable. I want to emphasize he never even apologized for his actions. I hope the owner is able to see this and reevaluate their management because I really do like the pizza here and would hate to have to deal with Jose again to make me not ever want to come here again. Also, I did not make the bacon a big deal because I am very understanding, but the fact our pizza had bacon shows that Jose was being unsanitary using a dirty knife to cut our pizza. For someone who does not eat pork because of their religion this is a HUGE deal so for the manager to react in a negative way when WE weren't even reacting that way was very disappointing and offensive. Please do better Jose. Update: instead of getting defensive and responding back in an unprofessional matter how about having a talk with your employees, or maybe they just aren't being honest with what actually happened because we never asked for a refund on the pizza that must have been what Jose understood since he was too concerned with getting loud and talking over us rather then being a good manager and listening to our concerns. when we spoke to the lady the first time she understood we just wanted a remake on the side the bacon wasn't on so I could enjoy what we paid for. We also didn't make it a big deal for that same reason that we didn't ask for a clean cut but regardless we DID NOT order a pizza with meat so cutting a pizza with a pizza cutter that was previously used on a meat pizza is pretty obvious cross contamination and also disgusting, that's just common sense though. Stayed at Disney and was so happy to find this place. Wanted something other than Disney food. Ordered a tossed salad and the dressing was amazing. Also ordered the Caesar salad and was great. Veggies were very fresh and nicely chopped. The pepperoni pizza I ordered well done stood up to our favorite back home. Crust was crunchy and not overly sauced. The best pizza I've had in the area and it's not even close. Roman style pizza which is a nice change from the traditional NY style that most are putting out. The ingredients tasted fresh and were kept simple. Their sauce has a great flavor and lets the tomatoes stand on their own with a little salt.
