The pizza here was pretty good for a reasonable price. We got the Rudolph and the Vulqan. The Rudolph was absolutely delicious - we liked the garlic cream sauce that came on it better than the red sauce on the Vulqan. The service was good - fast with friendly bar tenders. The bar tenders also recommended good local beer/cider. Free wifi as well. read more

The pizzas at Postkontoret are made by Cin Cin - I have very fond memories of their pizzas when they were based at Patio, and I was happy to discover that their pizzas are still as good at their newest venue. I had the pizza with parma ham, artichoke and pesto, and it was just plain good - I especially loved the quality of the crust. I would however say that the pepperoni and gorgonzola pizza that my friend had was even better - highly recommended! Another great spot at Tøyen! Postkontoret is amazing and absolutely worth checking out. Tøyen is a blooming neighborhood in Oslo so it is only fitting to find Postkontoret crowded on the weekends. I was surprised to find the place full even at 7pm on a Thursday. Then again, after trying out their pizza I am no longer surprised! The pizza was AMAZING, definitely one of the best I have tasted in Oslo, so now I understand why Postkontoret is popping with people even during the week. The ambiance is low key, the interior is cozy, and the crowd is hip but of all ages. Postkontoret played fantastic music, not to loud but just loud enough for you not to be bothered by others conversation. The volume in general is moderate, which makes it a great spot to catch up with friends after work! Apparently the people behind Postkonotret is the same who popped up Kulturhuset, which might be why it is such a big hit. Either way, I am very happy about it! read more

This is another happy surprise in the heart of Tøyen. I must say I really really loved it because of the music and the interior. Maybe also because of the chocolate pizza! This place is very modern in an industrial way. I love bars that have an industrial interior and especially this one that had a very nice colour palette. It reminded me a bit of kulturhuset in the vibe of the bar if you have been there, but a bit smaller and option sitting outside. The music was spot on my taste. A bit of indie pop/rock. The service was good and there was quite good beer variety. Definitely a place I will be visiting a lot in the future!! read more

So, I can't speak to the pizzas here, although they have an excellent pizza reputation, but I can speak to their ambiance, which is really relaxed and fun. I had a nice night out here playing shuffleboard a little while ago and really liked the beer selection, the ambiance, and the fact that it was laid back enough to relax into some game-playing fun. But Postkontoret balanced that relaxed-ness against not being so informal that it became a loud sports bar or whatever. I wouldn't want to go here for a loud, rousing night, but it's perfect for letting loose and not getting loud. I think Postkontoret reflects Oslo well; it's a fun place that isn't over the top, and you can have a great time here without wanting to be wild. Will definitely be back to try that famous pizza! read more

This is one of the better pizzas in Oslo! The style is Italian and the choices are plentyful. I had the Diavola pizza with peperoni and jalapenos. The crust is thin and crispy, the sauce is very tasty and rich and sweet, and the peperoni is also very tasty with a slight zing to it. Postkontoret is one of those beer/wine/pizza places where you order at the counter and collect the pizza when it is done and your buzzer buzzes. The locales are airy and cozy with plenty of informal seating. The staff is nice and always helpful. The coolest part of the place is the old vault which is turned into a cozy, lowly lit dining area with room for 4-6 people. If there are plenty of other people ordering you might have to wait some time for the pizza as it seems they only have room for a few pizzas at a time in the oven. read more

One of the still going strong newer pubs at Tøyen, just a short trip from the city centre with the tube. It is a rather large pub that also serves pizza. Their beer selection is decent, but not extra ordinary. It's a typical place to meet work colleagues for a "Friday beer" as we say in Norway. Thus, it may be crowded between 18 till late at night. The pizzas are supposed to be fantastic and some pizzas have won awards even. When I was there a few weeks ago, my friends had pizzas and even though one got the wrong one and another had to wait a tad bit long, no one complained about their pizzas (one was slightly burnt). I only go here when meeting colleagues, it's simply too modern interiorwise and too crowded otherwise. But, hipsters should try it out, at least once. read more

Stopped by here around lunch time, it wasn't very busy so we got our pizzas pretty quickly. It's a seat yourself and order at the bar kind of situation, we didn't know that at first so it took us a bit to figure it out. The pizza was decent but not spectacular. I haven't had any other pizza in Oslo so I can't say if it's the best there is. Good spot if you're also looking to grab drinks. read more

Decent bar for a local, serves regular beer on tap and a small selection of bottled beers. Decor is nice. The place is a bit of hit or miss for a night out. But that means you can nearly always get a seat. The music is the same, either good or some depressing shite that you would except in a dive rock bar. Security who mans the doors are dicks. But I fear (for oslo) it maybe the company not the bar Pizza was not good. Even on a hangover but maybe if you're trolleyed. read more
